For Urinary Frequency "I get a bad reaction to the adhesive. The redness stays for weeks and itches so bad. I clean the area with acetone to remove the adhesive residue and then clean it with alcohol. Hope you guys will create one for sensitive adhesive like a sensitive bandage. The product helps with an overactive bladder, I just hope the itch and redness will go away. Been using this patch for a month."

For Urinary Incontinence "When the urge hit, I had to go right then. I was a slave to pads. Not very sexy. I had an innerstem put in, but it did not help. The mess prescribed did not work either. The only thing that literally freed me from pads is the patch. I did not have dry mouth. I can wait to go potty for 1 hour or longer now."

For Urinary Frequency "I would love to give this medicine a 10. It works great for my overactive bladder, unfortunately, the irritation and itching are unbearable, and I have to end up changing the patch every couple of days. I am running out of places on my body because the irritation and itching last a lot longer than the patch. The medicine works great, but I can't get past the irritation from the patch."

For Urinary Frequency "The Oxytrol does help for the urinary frequency, but I am disappointed in the quality of the patch. The patch doesn't stay on for the full 4 days, and it is NOT waterproof. It says it is, but it's not. I've tried taking a shower with it on, and it came off. So, I'm done using them. I tried 1 box of the patches, and I'm not wasting any more money on a low-quality patch that doesn't even stay on like it's supposed to. Very, very disappointed. Wasted money."

For Urinary Frequency "After spending two years in absolute agony 24/7 with spasms of the bladder, pain, needing to urinate up to 12 times day and night, and aches in my loin, I was finally given the Oxytrol patch after no help from six prior pill-form medications. I want to thank whoever is responsible for the making, marketing, and licensing of this product that changed my life back to livable after twenty-four months of literal hell. Thank you again."

For Urinary Incontinence "These definitely work. Day one I saw relief with the gotta-go-right-now feeling, frequency, and leakage. The downside is the patches rarely last four days, usually 36 hours to 48 hours, which makes them very expensive. They are itchy and cause redness where the patch is placed. The edges collect lint from your clothes, which makes the patch look dirty. They constantly get caught on your clothing and pull your skin. As they dry up, they begin to sound 'crinkly,' which could be embarrassing. The drying up can occur as soon as 24 hours. They are also not clear and discreet. The background is clear, but there are 10 logos printed across each patch. Very sexy."

For Urinary Incontinence "Have been on Oxytrol for several years now and found it to work very well for me. Now I find that none of the retailers in my area of Texas are carrying it anymore. Anyone know why? To the question of whether or not my insurance covered this drug, it is an OTC, no insurance required."

For Urinary Frequency "I absolutely love this patch! Thank you for putting it back on the shelves! I am only 45 and had trouble since my hysterectomy several years ago. In fact, I was wearing a diaper to bed, not too sexy, I admit! These patches are awesome and have given me back my life! They do get less sticky in the shower, but I just face my body the other way. The stickies come off with no problem with Goo Gone or baby oil. Well worth it!"

For Urinary Incontinence "These patches have changed my life. Tired of wearing maxi pads that didn't do the job. Within 24 hours, these things worked. Couldn't believe it. I'm stockpiling them since I'm having trouble finding them for some reason. I'm going to be so unhappy if I can't find them."

For Urinary Frequency "The patch worked. However, the itching and inflamed skin was not tolerable. I wish I could bear it just to be relieved of the overactive bladder. I thought I would have a normal life. Now trying Toviaz."

For Urinary Frequency "I used 4 patches in 4 days because each morning when I got in the shower, the patch came off. That was a cost of $4 a day since I had paid $16 for the box. I called Merck (manufactures product) and was told they would send me a coupon or another box of patches. That was 4 weeks ago, and nothing yet. But I have decided not to use the product or recommend it to anyone."

For Urinary Frequency "I had a very bad experience with Ditropan (Oxybutynin in tablets) with unacceptable side effects. After some years, my GP suggested a trial of Oxybutynin patches. That was the second best thing after sliced bread. Within 2 days, I went from up to 6 wetting incidents per 24 hours to 0, and in the following weeks, a substantial reduction in the leaking of urine. I have now used Oxytrol for 5 weeks, and the only side effect is severe constipation, which seems to be helped by changing the Oxytrol patch every 5 days instead of 3 or 4. I have no other side effects, no dry mouth, no sensitive skin where the patches have been sitting on either side of the body. So, I am a very satisfied user, no more large pads, nappies, PVC pants, just a normal size Tena pad."

For Urinary Frequency "Oxytrol gave me a life without looking for the closest bathroom in a panic. I can now control my urge long enough to get to a bathroom. Only problem is it's hard to find. No longer on shelves at stores."

For Urinary Frequency "I have been using the patch for about 3 years now. I have issues sometimes with the patch not sticking. If I clean my skin well with alcohol first, that helps. On occasion, I use medical tape around the edges. Overall, it sticks fine. I switch between hips. For me, that is the best area. I do on occasion experience an itchy redness, but the patch is still worth the minor occasional discomfort. I find this happens if any water gets under the patch. I had urinary urgency to go to the point I do a pee-pee dance. The patch has resolved this issue, and I no longer have accidents. If I get a cold or flu, I pee a ton when I sneeze. This is when I have to have a pad or a pull-up. Still, for every day, not sick times, the patch has improved my quality of life. I started using the patch at 46. I am 49 now. I did notice if I take an antihistamine for allergies, I have to be careful how much I take. The antihistamine seems to weaken the effect of the patch."

For Urinary Frequency "I've had incontinence for some time, but it got to where the urge would hit so hard that I couldn't move until the urge passed and I could get to the bathroom. I went to the doctor, and she put me on Oxybutynin. It may be all in my head, but I swear only one 5 mg pill already has worked. I didn't have that extreme urge when I got up from a nap, like I did before. I still had the urge, but not as severe. Time will tell."

For Urinary Frequency "I'm a 60-year-old male experiencing urinary stress urgency really bad. I know Oxytrol says only for women, but I needed some relief. I have gotten this med approved with my doctor's full approval. I have been on the patches now for just over a month, and they work swell. I change the patch every 4 days, and the medication seems to last me the full 4 days. I wear the patch below my belly button, down in my pubic area, which I keep shaved. It works well there. Stays on nicely."

For Urinary Frequency "I have had the Oxytrol patch on for only about 24 hours and understand that it takes between 24 and 48 hours to notice any improvement, so I have noticed no improvement yet. It does not stick well, and I have had to put adhesive tape around the edges of the patch to keep it on. I don't know if I picked a bad spot (middle of my stomach), but certain ways it turns, it seems to pinch. I used nicotine patches years ago, and it seems that if these patches were smaller and less rigid, they might adhere a little better. I like the idea of a patch lasting 3-4 days, but I would prefer using one smaller patch a day if they stuck to the skin better."

For Urinary Frequency "This patch provided much-needed relief from my constant need for a bathroom. I can now enjoy so many things that I could not do before the patch, like the movies, walking, or running errands without looking for a bathroom. The only drawback is the sticky adhesive marks left by the patch. But these sticky adhesive marks come off with bath oil and a fingernail brush."

For Urinary Frequency "I really love this product. I don't have the irritation from the patch like some people are having. I did find out that if you have a problem with the patch not sticking, clean the area with rubbing alcohol before placing the patch, and that helps it to stick just fine. Maybe that would also help the ones with the irritation as well. Worth a try anyway. A little crinkling noise is worth dealing with compared to dealing with an overactive bladder. Another small issue is I feel that one patch is not as effective."

For Urinary Frequency "Drug works, but the patch is horrible. It is plastic and wrinkles up. The edges don't adhere well, so the patch is always sticking to my clothes. I hope they fix this issue. If they do, I will buy again, but for now, I'm going to save my money."

For Urinary Incontinence "My Dr. first put me on Sanctura, which seemed to work okay. Then I started to have various problems, and so my Dr. took me off of it. Now, 2 months after being off of it, I am now on a prescribed Oxytrol patch. I've only been on it a week, so I am hoping it doesn't cause a problem. The patch has not irritated my skin, and I wear it on my hip. So far, so good!"

For Urinary Frequency "Red, raised skin, itchy and uncomfortable reaction at each site to the adhesive that was lasting for a week - so not only site with a patch but also from the previous patch. Dry mouth, dizziness, and nausea, but yes, reduced need to run for the bathroom, just the side effects starting causing as many problems as it was meant to be solving."

For Urinary Frequency "I've been on the patch for almost 24 hours now. The only issue I am having is bad stomach cramps along with diarrhea, so hopefully that stops in the next few days. I don't want to get my hopes up just yet, but I have noticed that the urgency and frequency have decreased for me."

For Urinary Frequency "I think the patch worked better for me in the beginning. Less effective now. As far as the sticking, I found it works best on my lower back area. You have to make sure there is no lotion or soap where you apply and then hold your hand over the patch for at least 15 seconds to make sure it adheres. The heat of your hand activates the adhesive. Didn't work on my abdomen, caused severe itching, but not on my backside. My local Walmart is out of stock. I am going to try eBay."

For Urinary Frequency "I've been struggling for months. I pee. I still need to pee badly. Go again. Same feeling. No burning, but cramps like a period, and sex is terribly painful. Haven't been to the doctor yet, but I think I know what's going on. As a nurse, I've seen this. Struggled for months. I put the patch on yesterday, not even 24 hours, and I feel 80% better. I still feel it, but not near how I did. And if it gets better from here, that would be amazing! I recommend this patch highly. Maybe I should have waited a few days to post this, but the fact that I feel this good already needed to be shared. Worth every penny, and if you think about it, it is not that expensive. I usually get skin irritation from patches, and it's a little itchy already, but weighing out the pros and cons, who cares about itchy skin! Now, if it blisters, I'll be SOL. But for now, I have hope. I thought I had none."
