"I was prescribed Dipentum 250 mg more than 30 years ago and found, after years of problems with salazopyrin, such an absolute relief. No stomach pain, no cramping in the bowel, and no worries I would suffer again with bleeding gastric ulcers. I was prescribed 4x250 gm and reduced to 2x250 gm over the 30 years. I learned in 2021 this product had been discontinued and traveled 400 km to buy the last bottle in Brisbane. I had to change to the 500 mg Dipentum but found my stomach needed some assistance and began taking Nexium when needed, however, it was still very easy to take and procured the last bottle in my city before it too was discontinued. Although 40 years, I was only the size of a 12-year-old and very sensitive to medication. I am presently trying to convert to mesalazine but find it has so many side effects, and I seem to suffer with all the dreadful effects, although I have tried many of the different versions."
