"I'm not okay. But I feel trapped. I have been on some form of birth control on and off my whole life. I started when I was 12 because of heavy bleeding, and I would have it for 9-12 days. I'm now in my 40s. I have been switching from patch to IUD to injection, with issues with all, so I understand I'm not 'normal.' But out of all the different pills I've tried, these are the only ones that make my boobs this tender. I mean, they feel bruised for a week every month! Like, don't wear a bra or tight shirt because I'm going to cry, type hurt. I've gained 10 lbs since I started this pill 8 months ago. Worst of all... I now have my period for 11-16 days!! THAT'S MORE THAN HALF OF EACH MONTH BLEEDING! I can't take this. This is more than anyone should have to. I have 2 days of really bad cramps, which isn't too bad, but the number of days I have my period now is disgusting! I feel like I'm always tired, but who wouldn't after actively bleeding for 16 days?"
