For Raynaud's Syndrome "Was prescribed in 2006 due to high blood pressure caused by multiple symptoms of systemic lupus, chronic pain, severe migraines, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, Raynaud’s syndrome. Rheumatologist prescribed nisoldipine extended release 8.5 mg over other blood pressure medications specifically to treat my high blood pressure as well as the additional stated symptoms to minimize the amount of medications prescribed for managing all of the symptoms I experience with systemic lupus. One month after prescribed, severe migraines that lasted days to weeks at a time subsided along with the symptoms associated with migraines (nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity, dizziness), has not returned in severity. Overall improvement of Raynaud’s syndrome and chest pain subsided. I have occasional swelling of hands, legs, and ankles during severe weather changes. It is 2022, and I am still taking nisoldipine: 8.5 mg extended release, pleased with results."
