Metronidazole topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I have had BV many times over the years. The worst thing for me is the uncomfortable pain and itching. It started after menopause or once menopause started. If men have dirty hands, this can cause a problem, also, their mouth has so much bacteria and their semen. The best thing is to make sure you use a condom, especially if you have a new partner. MetroGel definitely works great, and no side effects for me. Metronidazole topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "Okay, so I had BV, and first my doctor called in the topical gel, but after getting the vaginal gel, I started using it as per normal. 1 applicator per night before bed. Okay, I'm gonna say I noticed a difference in feeling overnight. It felt better after the first use, but day 3 and 4 I noticed a weird discharge. Like super weird. I just finished treatment a day ago and am still having this bizarre discharge. I mean, hey, I feel better, but do not be scared if your discharge is really thick and chunky. It kind of freaked me out at first, but I read that is a normal side effect and means it’s working, so. So I mean, my coochie feels clean. Solid 7/10 experience."

Metronidazole topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "First time taking this. Worked after day one. The only thing I was concerned about was that I had a discharge that I couldn't explain. White clumpy stuff with some blood in it. But after reading reviews, seems normal. Some pelvic discomfort and back pain. Overall, liked it better than Flagyl."

Metronidazole topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I am on my fourth night of vaginal MetroGel. One more night to go after that. Honestly, I felt like my symptoms figured out by day two. Really good stuff and the only thing I’ve had is the thick white discharge, but it had no odor and it really wasn’t all that bad, just I noticed it when wiping. Other than that, I am very, very satisfied with it, and it seems to be working wonderfully."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I did experience some side effects: the feeling of menstrual cramping (but not because I had a hysterectomy 8 years ago), diarrhea, some vaginal discharge. Nothing severe or unbearable."
