For Muscle Pain "Have used for four or five years with no side effects... muscle strain four days ago after Pilates in left side neck, upper cervical, scapula. Applied four patches across back of neck; woke up three hours later, different tingling burning pain. Attributed to continued muscle strain; removed patches five hours later, showered. Several hours later noted more strained discomfort, burning; felt bumps in my scalp close to posterior neck. Slept restlessly and with continued burning sensation. Husband noted red bumps and marks over left side of neck. Called your customer care line; closed. Called Costco where purchased Lot SAO8U Exp 09/2019."

"Worthless for sciatica pain. Burns terribly when applied, stinks, and no pain relief. Threw in the trash!"

For Muscle Pain "Thanksgiving morning, I tripped going into a house and bruised my back. A day later, I went to the hospital, and they recommended Salonpas patches. Bought them and put them on my back. Within a 1/2 hour, I started feeling nauseous, and my back started burning. My lips started swelling up, and I checked my heart rate on my watch, and it was 105 at resting. My tongue started to feel funny, and I had a bad taste in my mouth. I yelled for my husband to rip them off right away and took liquid Benadryl right away. EpiPen was on stand-by. The only anaphylactic shock reaction I have is to iodine, and none of the ingredients in this say anything about iodide. Not sure what caused the reaction. I’m just glad somebody was home with me."
