For Bladder Infection "I was given Hiprex to try after recurring UTIs for a year. After taking 1 at night for nearly 4 weeks, I started getting a burning feeling, especially around the time of month when I get a flare. I was asked to stop, as the urologist said it wasn’t working. After 6 months and researching, I gave Hiprex another go with vitamin C 200 mg and half of Hiprex twice daily. The burning feeling went, and for 2 months I was okay, but recently got another flare, worse, lasting a few hours, and ended up taking antibiotics. If anyone knows if it’s worth carrying on with Hiprex, please let me know, as my GP was clueless. Thank you."

For Bladder Infection "Couldn't take these longer than 3 weeks, as they made my bladder symptoms so much worse. The burning and bladder pain are so unbearable, even after stopping them, the side effects are still there."

For Urinary Tract Infection "I am trying Hiprex again as I was not successful the first time. I check my pH levels, and I am free of infection at the moment. I started taking Hiprex as I so want a solution to a constant UTI. Within a very short time, I am experiencing burning and the urge to wee but can’t. I self-catheterize twice a day as I have an atonic bladder. Should I put up with the burning hoping it will stop???"
