For Type 2 Diabetes "I take 50/500 twice a day. My glucose level is in the range of 150/330 despite using this medicine. I am going to consult my doctor soon for a replacement of medicine. I am also having side effects such as cold sweating, skin rashes, and I also fainted twice."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Janumet 50/500 twice a day worked wonderfully on me after having diagnosed with diabetes around one year back with a sugar level of 332/450 and HbA1c 13.5. Now my sugar level is in a range of 100/50 with HbA1c 6.2. I am a happy man."

Metformin / sitagliptin for Type 2 Diabetes "The first week was awful, I have acid reflux and it combined and made it terrible since I was also doing a diet change. Once that was over, however, I didn't have any more symptoms. The first week I was very nauseous, a little light-headed, and a bit more tired than usual. My insurance covered it twice, but after that has refused. I did lose 15+ pounds, so if you really wanna lose weight, this pill would help quite a bit, lol. Overall, I feel comfortable with it, I really wish my insurance would let me keep taking it."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I take 500 mg, 2x a day. I started in 2/09, and my A1C went from 7.5 to a 6.9. I have no side effects. I have concerns because I am now pregnant, and I can't breastfeed while on this medication. It does wonders for me."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I take Janumet one in the morning and one at night. I take Metamucil before going to bed. I have noticed that my body does not completely absorb or digest Janumet. In my stool, I have noticed a yellow, jelly-like substance about the size and shape of Janumet. I wonder if it is due to me taking the Metamucil or if it is just the medication my body is responding to. I see it every day. Please let me know if anybody knows. Thanks."

Metformin / sitagliptin for Type 2 Diabetes "It's a good drug that does a good job lowering my blood sugar. I take 1000 mg 2x a day, and try to exercise some daily. I still have some gas problems, and some diarrhea."
