For Emergency Contraception "So as in my last post, I had sex on the day of ovulation according to my period tracker and my guy came inside me. Well, I got up and went and got a Plan B 30 mins after, and for about 2 weeks after, I felt all of being pregnant, bad nausea, back pain, hungry and tired. But here I am now, and my period came on yesterday. It started spotting at first, and now it's gone crazy, but hey, I'll take this over being prego! Either it was my time to get pregnant or the Pill really works!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this approximately 48 hours after unprotected sex while I was ovulating. I felt fine after taking the pill. A few days before my period was due, I experienced major mood swings, bloating, cramps, and sore breasts. These symptoms lasted for the few days before I was due, and then the symptoms stopped on the actual day I was due. But no period. Needless to say, I was freaking out! (This is why I am writing this to help others from freaking) -- I was supposed to start on a Friday. Then Saturday rolls around, then Sunday and no period... Just really, really sore breasts on Sunday. That Monday evening, I finally started and had breast tenderness, cramps, headache, tiredness... But at least I started - 3 (longest days of my life) days late."

For Emergency Contraception "My experience with Plan B has been stressful, to be truly honest. I have used this pill more than 5 times in my life. This year I used it like 3 weeks ago just to be cautious because I was not ovulating, but I was 5 days away from ovulating. I took the pill after 42 hours, and the side effects are awful. I have nausea, I feel tired, I have mild cramps, and worst of all, EXTREMELY SENSITIVE BREASTS! That got me thinking for the past 3 weeks that I might be pregnant, but my period has not arrived yet. I took a pregnancy test, and the results are negative. I know that my period will eventually show up because it isn't the first time I have experienced this. Last time I had very few side effects, and my period arrived 2 months late, so I guess this time it will also take a while, but this pill messes up your body big time."

For Emergency Contraception "It works. I got my period one day late. I took it after 10 hours of the deed. I was on my 8th day of my menstrual cycle and 5 days before ovulation. However, because I was afraid of risks, I took it since my app said my fertile window started. I knew the pill was working because I got acne the day after on my chin (hormonal), cramps, and sore boobs all the next 3 weeks. Mood swings all over the place. I was scared, so I took a blood test one day before my estimated period date and it came back negative. Two days after that, my period arrived. I feel very tired and painful, but I am happy to be out of this craziness. This page helped me a lot to not go crazy. I took Plan B 4 times in my life, and it always worked. Sending you good vibes and peace of mind. You got this!"

For Emergency Contraception "• 1/21 unprotected sex, no withdrawal, 1-2 a.m. (thanks, Wine) • Checked period tracking app. It was day 1 of my ‘fertile window’. Took Plan B 12 hrs later. • Cycle is irregular, so unsure when I was ovulating. • 1/27 spotting, sort of brownish red quickly changed to light pink. Not heavy enough for a tampon. Googled & thought this could be implantation bleeding. • Sporadic spotting continues for 8 days. • 1/29 INCREDIBLY sore breasts, very tired, aching and cramping in back and hips. • Most of those things are standard for my body with PMS (minus the spotting). • 2/5 Aunt Flo has come. Period is early. And heavy. Definitely no longer spotting. 2 weeks stressed, convinced myself I was pregnant and symptoms were coinciding with that. I took 4 pregnancy tests. I lost sleep. I read like, 40 pages of reviews on this website. (What a psycho) Don’t be like me. Trust this medicine and your body."

For Emergency Contraception "I just want to ease everyone’s minds that have taken the Plan B while ovulating. I took the Plan B pill and took an ovulation test, and it showed 2 lines on it. So yes, I was ovulating. If you would Google it, it says it does NOT work while ovulating. It did work for me while ovulating, and the condom broke once after he finished, and then the next day he decided not to wear one. So girls, just give it some time to let the medicine do its thing. I ended up feeling some really bad PMS symptoms, though. I felt dizzy, hot flashes, fatigued, tired even if you did absolutely nothing, and some mild cramps. I experienced no breakthrough bleeding or any spotting. My period came only 1 day later than it should have. But while writing this on my period, I am super tired, have a headache, and I’m cramping in the front and on my lower back. This is the worst period I’ve had, but I’d rate a bad period over a baby for right now."

For Emergency Contraception "Yesterday, my boyfriend had unprotected sex, we did two rounds with a 3-hour gap between the rounds. After the second round, like 15 mins later, I took a Plan B, and call me crazy, but the minute he came inside, I just felt it in my soul that I was gonna be pregnant. I've been having side effects of the pill such as nausea, constipation, tiredness, cramps, and pains. I'll be back in 3 weeks to update you all."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex one night, realizing the next day that a condom was not in the picture. After lightly freaking out, I went to buy the Plan B pill. I've taken it once before, almost 3 years ago, before it was on the shelf. When I took it this time, I had some very noticeable side effects: cramping, stomach pain, tiredness, dizziness, nausea, lack of appetite, but I would go through all of it again if it meant no kids. This pill works, and I would recommend it to anyone."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill after 24 hours of the accident. 5 days later I got what they say is a 'Plan B Period' even though I got that, I was still stressing, thinking of the what-ifs. The next month, my period was 7 days late, but it eventually came. I am so thankful for this pill. What I learned is: don't stress, if you take the pill as directed, you will be fine. The only downside was I got extremely tired."

For Emergency Contraception "Alright ladies.. This pill is a lifesaver! Me and my boyfriend had an incident when the condom broke. At the time, I was ovulating and I took the Plan B pill within 24 hours. I didn't have any symptoms for about a week, and then I got ALL of them. Tender breasts, abdominal pain, bloating, very weird stomach noises, bad headaches, and very tired. My biggest symptom was being worried though! I am only 16, and I am now not pregnant. This pill works miracles! One relieved lady right here. Good luck to all of you!"

For Emergency Contraception "My period ended Jan 26th, and I had sex on Feb 3rd. The second my boyfriend realized the condom broke, we jumped in the car and got the Plan B pill, which I took immediately (45 minutes after sex). During the time the condom broke and I took Plan B, I was ovulating, according to my period tracker app and physical signs. I got my period on the exact day I was scheduled to get it (two weeks after sex). I also took a pregnancy test, which came back negative. Such a relief. Plan B made me very lethargic and sick to my stomach for about two weeks. So happy with the product. If you took it and are still freaking out... Don't!"

For Emergency Contraception "This pill works! Trust it. I took it 34 hours after a condom slip. I experienced tiredness, bloating and minor abdominal discomfort, not so much as pain. I started spotting, then it completely stopped for two days, but nonetheless, my period came! Three days earlier than I expected and a lot heavier than normal, but it came! Trust this pill, it is a miracle worker. Take the pill within the 72-hour time frame, relax, and hope for the best! $55 is nothing compared to the cost of getting pregnant! Best of luck, ladies!"

For Emergency Contraception "I definitely recommend Plan B for any girls who have had unprotected sex and are scared of the possible outcome. My experience with Plan B was both good and bad. I took Plan B 5 hours after the condom broke. Unfortunately for me, it was my predicted day of ovulation. At first, I had faith in Plan B, but after reading hundreds of reviews, I had mixed emotions. I have a 40-day cycle, sometimes earlier, but never more than 40 days. The morning after taking Plan B, I got serious nausea, and I was so tired; I slept a lot. My symptoms went on for about 2 weeks. I also was very emotional during this time. Plan B really messes up your hormones, and I was so overemotional. Since the condom broke and he finished inside me, AND it was on ovulation day, I was freaking out. I also had tons of discharge. I kept thinking I got my period and would race to the washroom; however, it was this clear discharge. I was very concerned and thought that Plan B had failed. On the day I was supposed to get my period, there was nothing. A few days passed, and there was still nothing. I was still very nauseous, my boobs were super sore, and I had weird cramps every so often. I was preparing for the worst, but finally, a week after I was supposed to, I got my period. At first, it was light, and I was, once again, worried it was a sign of pregnancy; spotting. The day after, I got my normal flow. Plan B saved me, and I'm so thankful; I will definitely be more careful next time. All in all, Plan B is very effective, and I recommend it; however, the symptoms were pretty bad. Then again, it is a lot better than being pregnant and not ready for the responsibility. I'm only 16 years old and definitely capable of raising a child. Avoid a next time; Plan B should be used for emergencies only and not regularly. I read tons of things on the Internet about Plan B, and I wouldn't trust all of the feedback. Plan B DOES work during and after ovulation. I am very grateful for Plan B and give it the highest rating for effectiveness."

For Emergency Contraception "I took it just to be sure almost 40 hours after the incident. I did not get pregnant. That said, this was the first time I used any type of oral contraceptive EVER. So I had horrible side effects. Probably not because of the medicine as such but may be because of the high dosage of it. A day after, I was completely exhausted and had spotting a week later. That week was terrible. I had gastric trouble, acidity, bloating, sort of menstrual cramps, pretty much all the symptoms of pregnancy. Turns out these were the side effects for the medication as my body was not used to sudden hormonal changes. So I sincerely suggest just using protection and being on a regular pill. Be cautious if you have never used any type of contraceptive."

For Emergency Contraception "These reviews helped me a lot to calm down when I was a stressed-out mess. I had unprotected sex on Oct. 11. We typically use condoms, but not that day. Dumb. I was not sure Plan B would work because I was ovulating. I took it the day my calendar said I would be the most fertile. Still worth a try. I took it, and I experienced EVERY single possible symptom of pregnancy. Sore boobs, tired, moody, retaining water, cramps, nausea! I thought these would fade, but after two weeks, I still had some of the symptoms, especially backache and cramping. I'm sure being anxious did NOT help. Neither did googling! When I started spotting a few days before my period, I didn't know if it was implantation bleeding. Finally, my period started (the day it should have). I have more cramping than usual, but I'm so relieved about not being pregnant I don't care. I haven't slept for two weeks! Good luck to all of you out there. Waiting is torture. I wish you all the best!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B the next day after having unprotected sex (even though he withdrew before cumming, but I didn’t want to take any chances). A week later, I started bleeding - enough to use a sanitary napkin and a few blood clots. A few days after that (so about 10-14 days after taking Plan B), I have very, very sore breasts, some abdominal cramping, and I am very tired! I have taken four tests and all are negative. I have never had such strong side effects from Plan B. I hope (and it seems to be the case) that I’m not pregnant. It’s been 15 days since unprotected sex and 2 days since my period is supposed to start, and the tests are negative. So I am hoping these are just side effects. But boy, what side effects! This stuff screws with your body and mind so powerfully! I have taken Plan B maybe three times before in my life and I have never had side effects."

For Emergency Contraception "Plan B One-Step really works. I know you're probably nervous and worrying about the effectiveness, but I just want to tell you to relax. Let me just tell you my story. I had sex on February 4th and the condom broke. So, my boyfriend and I drove to the pharmacy and purchased Plan B One-Step. I took it about 20-30 minutes after the incident happened. I began to feel one symptom about 1 hour later, I was extremely tired and had little energy. It lasted for 2 days and then wore off. I was expecting my period about a month away, so I went crazy. I missed one period and finally got mine 12 days after my missed period. So, Plan B actually works."

For Emergency Contraception "This pill seriously works. If you were in the same position as me, you're sitting on this website reading the reviews and hoping the pill is working. My boyfriend and I had sex on the 12th when the condom broke. He was able to buy the pill on the 14th, some 50 hours after. I took it ASAP. I was very tired and felt nauseous and dizzy every so often after I took it. I started spotting on the 19th and now it's the 20th, and I just woke up with my period. The 50 dollars spent on buying the pill is much better than risking having a baby."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this around September 13. He pulled out, but we were still worried about precum, and I was sure I was also ovulating. I have irregular periods sometimes, but my next period was expected to be on Sept 28. I had withdrawal bleeding from Sept 16-20. I never got a period in October. My stomach was bloated, I was always emotional, I felt nauseous sometimes, and got tired very fast. It was basically every pregnancy symptom, and I freaked out. Finally, on the morning of Nov 13, I thought I would go take a pregnancy test, even though there was almost no chance. My period was 30 days late, and on my way to Target, I felt a really weird cramp, and I went to the restroom to check, and thankfully I had my period. Don’t read reviews and generalize, everyone has different bodies, always test to make sure :)"

For Emergency Contraception "Okay, guys, please do not panic. So let me tell y'all about my experience: Before the Plan B, I started my period on November 1st. I had sex on November 14 and took the pill the next morning, not even 24 hours after. The pill does have side effects. I bled a week after I took the Plan B, and after I bled, I felt tired. I would feel weird, like I had to throw up and everything (in the morning), so I started panicking because it was December 15 and still no period. So I took a test and it was negative. I was going to wait another week and take the test, but before I could take it, December 27 is when my period appeared. Don’t worry, y’all, and don’t listen to what you see and stop panicking."

For Emergency Contraception "Took the Plan B pill 1 hour after intercourse. I took it on an empty stomach, which you should NOT do. I felt crazy symptoms for about 1 month. It felt as if I were pregnant. I have been nauseous, tired, mood swings. Horrible feeling, and it lasted quite a while. 1 week after I had taken the pill, I got some spotting that lasted 3 days. I took 7 home pregnancy tests (all negative) because of all the worry. But I just received my period today, which I am so happy about."

Some symptoms I experienced were breast pains or tenderness, tiredness, and I did break out. Don't worry, I was paranoid too since I took it after 48 hours. I was researching all day if this pill does work. Well, it did for me. I did get my period 8 days late. But, I got it."

For Emergency Contraception "I hope this helps, girls! I took Plan B for the first time, 6 days before ovulation, the beginning of my cycle. On 08/22, I had unprotected sex and took the pill 3 hours after that. No side effects, just felt tired and weird! A week after, I experienced sore boobs, cramps, mood swings, appetite changes, and even had a yeast infection. Then on 08/28, I started to spot, 7 days after the pill. Spotting was light, then it got a little more, I needed a pad! That lasted 4 days! Then I was fine, there was a white, thick, odorless discharge! Then a week went by, and on 09/07, I had these weird cramps and extreme bloating! It seemed like my ovulation day. Anyway, from that day, I felt weird and pregnant, with mood swings, emotional, and hungry all the time, with white and clear discharge! Anyway, on 09/17, my boobs were super sore, then cramping! I also felt nauseous, with a lot of cramping! My period was a week late! I spotted 2 days before my period, and my PERIOD IS HERE!!! 09/24, a week and a half late!!! Side effects suck! Don't stress, you will be fine!"

For Emergency Contraception "After having a second miscarriage last September, (It was awful), I didn’t want to go through it again. My husband and I have unprotected sex very close to ovulation day, so we decided to go to the store and get Plan B so I can’t go through another miscarriage. I took the pill like 12 hours after sex. The next day, I was tired, moody, and nauseated. A few days before my period, I had bad PMS symptoms, only that I didn’t get my period. I was late 3 days, and I took a pregnancy test and then another one, so we’re on the 5% because it didn’t work. I’m 6 weeks pregnant, crossing my fingers that this time we can have a baby."

For Emergency Contraception "Okay, this is my second time taking Plan B. And I told myself if it works this time, I'd write a review to help you feel better. Trust me, I was as nervous as you. My bf and I had an accident around 3 a.m., the condom broke, and he had finished inside me. We checked my ovulation tracker, and I had ovulated the day after. We immediately rushed to the pharmacy. We aren't ready for babies. I took the pill an hour after the incident. Then, 3 days later, I experienced spotting for one day - I thought it was implantation bleeding, I was thinking the worst. Then, the day after, I felt a little nauseous, fatigue, tiredness, and depression. I was 3 days late :) and you'll be okay, just take it as soon as possible. The first time I took it, 36 hrs later, and it still worked. However, no symptoms. The only bad thing about the pill is it makes you believe you'd actually be pregnant. Don't stress and pray. Hope this helps."
