For Emergency Contraception "MIRACLE! I used it 5 hours after unprotected sex, and I got my period 2 weeks later, the exact day it was due. Had no side effects either, except I was really tired for a couple of days. If you're reading these reviews and freaking out about being pregnant, STOP! It will work. I've had a friend who has used it 6 times, and it worked every time. Only thing is that it's kind of expensive."

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex right in the middle of my cycle. Took this roughly 24 hours after having sex. I felt pretty emotional for a few days afterward. Not sure if that was from the pill or the situation I put myself in. Anyway, for about a week and a half, I felt nauseous, had cramps, was very tired, and had headaches. I also started spotting about 2 weeks after taking it. I thought I was starting my period. However, my actual period was delayed a couple of days. Very happy this product exists! I will not put myself in the situation to have to use it again, however."

For Emergency Contraception "I hope my experience helps someone. I'm 20 years old and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 11/04. It was about one week after my period had ended on 10/27 and technically during my sugar pill week. However, I missed a few pills during my month and knew I was not fully protected. The morning after, I experienced bright red bleeding and feared that it may have been implantation bleeding (unlikely). I panicked and took Plan B 48 hours after. My period was one week late and came on 12/04, ~ one month after I took Plan B. I experienced extreme tiredness, swollen breasts (increased a cup size), cravings, and light cramps, all similar to pregnancy symptoms! Don't panic. Allow your body to adjust, there's a great chance you aren't pregnant!"

For Emergency Contraception "Attention to all teen girls who are scared! I stayed the night at my boyfriend's on the 29th of January. We had intercourse, and he finished inside me. I was freaked out! I am only 18! I am on Depo, but started a week and 5 days before this happened. I was scared. The next night, about 7-8 hours after this happened, my mom took me to get the morning-after pill. I had little to no side effects. I was tired, and I was craving a lot of food. I was scared because I didn't get my period. But I found out, with Depo, you won't get a period. It's been about 29 days since this experience. Still haven't gotten my period. I'm not pregnant. I am not worried. So if you're a teenager girl who's sitting on her laptop or cell phone scared, this pill works."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on January 3rd, and my partner and I slipped up, and he finished inside of me. I took the pill within an hour after it happened and experienced no immediate symptoms, and was quite nervous that it wasn't working because of the lack of symptoms. Over the next week, I experienced light, light cramping, tiredness, and some lower back pain. I ended up getting my period on January 9th, not even a week after the pill was taken. I was a nervous wreck since the moment I took the pill, constantly planning what I would do if the pill did not work for some reason. To all of you in a similar situation, breathe, relax, and live normally because the more you worry about it, the harder you will make it on yourself. The pill works! Just trust the process and everything will be okay. Everyone's bodies experience things differently, so if you are having different experiences, it is likely that they are just custom to you. Relax, take a deep breath, and give it time. Good luck, ladies."

For Emergency Contraception "I have struggled with birth control since the birth of my third baby (now 18 months). I have had to take Plan B twice prior, and it worked! I felt exhausted, but it was tolerable. Third time, taken right after the condom broke. 10 days later, a very strong pregnancy test. It’s a great drug, but it doesn’t always work! (I was ovulating when I took it)"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex, according to my period tracker app, a day before ovulation. I took the pill within 3 hours (after MUCH anxiety because it seems like a big dose of hormones. I am a pharmacist, lol), and I didn't feel anything alarming in terms of side effects (nausea, vomiting, etc.), BUT I did feel INSANELY tired. I pretty much slept the entire day. However, things got rocky a week after I took Plan B. I noticed that I was lightly spotting and freaked out because I thought it was implantation bleeding. I literally worried myself sick and bled/spotted for a week until today, and my actual period started up. It came on time, a day early if I had to be accurate. I just wanted to let everyone know that this pill is effective when taken within the time frame (sooner the better, of course), and there is no point in researching symptoms of pregnancy or whatever because it will only make you worry and stress out more. Best of luck, ladies!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex during my most fertile time! The condom broke, and I was freaked out! I took Plan B 30-36 hours after it happened. I was super tired the day I took it and slept most of the day. I then received bad cramps, I thought I was 'implanting'! A few days later, I started getting nauseous and back pains, I thought I was pregnant! That continued for almost a week. And I got really sick. My boobs hurt, and I had awful pain in my back. At that point, I was terrified! Now, 2 days late, I received my period!"

For Emergency Contraception "I’ve used Plan B before, and it always worked. This time, when I needed it most, it did not work for me. I am almost 3 weeks pregnant right now. I am disappointed because it’s bad timing. A baby is a miracle, and I feel bad that I am in this predicament, but I put myself here. I tried to believe it was the Plan B that gave me my symptoms, but it’s been a while since I got my period, so I took a test, and I am pregnant for sure. I can’t blame Plan B because it isn’t 100%, but damn, lmao, it didn’t work this time. I recommend if you are late, definitely take a pregnancy test. I had nausea, my boobs hurt, I puked once, I’m tired, I’m moody. Those are my symptoms. Good luck, Charlie."

For Emergency Contraception "My girlfriend and I had unprotected sex on 2/5 around 8:00 pm. The condom broke, and I was not sure whether or not I fully pulled out, so we panicked, went out to CVS, and bought Plan B 30 minutes later. Her last period was on 1/15, but she does not track her period, and usually, they are irregular, so being a really sensitive boyfriend, I completely lost my mind thinking only about the hypotheticals and negatives for the next few weeks to follow. She started spotting about 5 days after taking the pill, and the side effects that followed included breast tenderness, and she complained about being very tired very often. I'm not sure whether or not the symptoms lasted for more than a week, but she finally got her period today on March 5th (51 days after her last period and 30 days after taking Plan B). It completely distorts a woman's cycle, and while I understand that my panicking was not uncalled for, it definitely affected my ability to think straight. If you take the pill within the instructed time frame and are under the weight limit, you will be great. Now to start a birth control regimen, lol. Also, I reached out to a bunch of friends who were in these same situations, and more than half of them had their girlfriends get their periods at least 4-5 weeks after taking the pill, so a delayed period is completely normal. Good luck everyone, hope this review was informative and reliable."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had sex, and the condom broke. I'm normally on birth control but had an adverse reaction to a new prescription and stopped. We immediately drove to Walgreens and bought Plan B One-Step over the counter. I was frightened by the amount of side effects people mentioned in previous reviews. All I had was a light headache, and I was tired, but these only lasted 1-2 days. My period started about 10 days after taking the pill (and about 3 days earlier than normal), and it is a very heavy flow, much heavier than normal (which is fine with me if it means I'm not pregnant). Just give it time and try not to worry. It WILL work. $53 is DEFINITELY money well-spent."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex a day after my period tracking calendar said I ovulated. My partner used the pull-out method and said he did not ejaculate in me, but I am a very worrisome person. I took the Plan B One-Step almost 48 hours after. I weigh 206 pounds and am 5'6", if this helps. Well, a week after, I was having dizzy spells, some nausea, hot flashes, constipation, sore boobs, and was very tired. I ended up getting my period a day before I expected it, so I would say that the pill worked for me in this instant. Don't freak out and do not spend your money on pregnancy tests before you are actually late for it. Stress can cause your period to be late, so just relax and don't think every little thing means you're pregnant because it will kill you."

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself to write a review if this product works. I had unprotected sex on the 12th day of my cycle, took Plan B 12 hours later. No side effects until one week of taking Plan B. My boobs started to hurt like anything, lower back pain, tiredness, nausea, specifically had pelvic pain. Then another week later (2 weeks after taking Plan B), I started to spot for 3 days (very light, pinkish) then nothing, no period! My period proper did not arrive on the day it's supposed to come. I was freaked out, did 5 pregnancy tests, all came back negative. I requested a blood test from my doctor, but then my period came finally. 2 days late. Hope this helps somebody..."

For Emergency Contraception "My period came Christmas Day 2019. My period only lasts 5 days. New Year’s Day I had sex with my ex. He purposely tried to get me pregnant. I got worried, checked my Flo period app, it said I’ll ovulate Jan 7th, 2020, so I took a Plan B. 7 hours later, I was tired, had severe diarrhea. On the 7th, the day I should’ve ovulated, I ended up having a period with blood clots. My period isn’t due until Jan 21st. I’ll keep you guys updated."

For Emergency Contraception "So I'm sharing because I was totally freaking out after I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago. He didn't finish inside me, but I heard about pre-cum, so 14 hours later I took Plan B. I didn't have any side effects, I was only tired and I was so hungry. My period was due yesterday, so I had to wait 2 whole weeks, and I was freaking out. All I did was pray and read these reviews and cry because it was my first time having unprotected sex, and I was scared I could be pregnant because I'm still in high school, and I'm definitely not ready for a baby. But yesterday, I got my period, and I'm NOT PREGNANT. I hope this helps because reading these reviews helped me a lot, so don't stress because that can make your period late. Don't worry. The pill works."

For Emergency Contraception "You might be looking at this review page to reassure yourself. Well, let me just say it worked perfectly well for me. I took this pill after about 2 hours. I took the pill for reassurance for me. We didn't completely full-on have unprotected sex. Things just got carried away, and he had been inside me for no longer than 1 minute. No ejaculation. No nothing. But of course, me being a paranoid person, I just have to make sure nothing would happen. Took it and noticed that within an hour or so, I felt achy and tired. Let me add that this all happened just a couple of days before I was expecting my period. A couple of days go by, and I received my period today! I probably didn't need it, but it helped calm my nerves."

For Emergency Contraception "I usually don't write any kind of reviews. But I thought I should share my experience. So I had sex with a guy about a month ago. We used a condom, but it broke and he came inside me. I was not on birth control and never took a pill before. We went out and got the pill and took it within 45 minutes after that happened. A day after, I had a little cramps and started to get tired and couldn't get up early in the morning. This is the only side effect I had. I've been like that for about a week, and I had a period. Yes, I had a period exactly a week after. But it was different from the normal period. I thought that was implantation bleeding. But after three weeks, I checked, and I was not pregnant. Don't get too stressed out! Thank you, Plan B!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex without protection and he finished inside. I took Plan B the 13th day of my cycle (ovulation day according to my app, my cycle is between 26-28 days). I took the pill less than an hour after sex. Day 1: Cramps and some nausea and tiredness. Day 2: Cramps + clear egg discharge similar to ovulation. Day 3: Less clear egg discharge. Day 4: Hunger and some cramps. Day 5: Hunger and some cramps. Day 6: No symptoms. Day 7: More sensitive breasts. Day 8-10: No new symptoms. Day 11: Pregnancy test - Negative. Day 12-13: No symptoms. Day 14: According to the app, today my period will come (it didn’t), but I felt ALL day so much abdominal pressure and cramps and lower back pain. I took another pregnancy test and it was negative. Day 15: So much cramps and my period finally came (1 day late). Notes: Since I took the pill, I felt bloated, sensitive breasts, nausea, tiredness, abdominal pressure, so much hunger, higher sex drive, and mood swings. I hope this can help someone!"

For Emergency Contraception "I have never left a review for anything in my life, but because of my experience, I decided to share. I had unprotected sex on my most fertile day of the month, and I was panicking. I panic even when I use birth control, so I was super stressed out. I took the pill between 10-11 hours after the incident, and the next two weeks I experienced constant cramps, I was super tired, and my breasts were super sore. I was 'sure' these were pregnancy symptoms. Plus, I read a million things on the Internet, like I'm sure you all have done (or you wouldn't be here), and apparently, I am over the 'weight limit.' But here I am, 2 weeks later, and my period came right on time! Like everyone else has said, this pill works wonders. Do not stress!"

For Emergency Contraception "I wanted to come here and give my insight and story. This has worked 2 times for me. Hopefully, it can calm or help how you or someone you know deals with the stress and anxiety that this brings!! The man I'm dating ejaculated in me, and I believe it was right after ovulation. We immediately took action, and I took Plan B within the hour. The pill made me tired, with mood swings, anxiety, cramps, acne, discharge, and bloating. The pharmacist said these are common symptoms. I cramped pretty bad, 5 days later, I spotted, then on the 6th day, I started my period! As long as you take it within the 3-day window, you should be fine. Plan B is a true lifesaver! Thank you so much, Plan B, you have saved my life! Take a deep breath and try to be calm."

For Emergency Contraception "Condom broke and he fully came in me. I'm 18, so we were both very scared. Took the pill about 30 minutes after. Got my period exactly 2 weeks later. No side effects from the pill except for tiredness in the first few days. I had already been late on my period due to stress from school, so I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. My period came about 2 weeks later than my expected one for May, the month I took the pill, and 2 weeks early from my expected June one, so right in the middle. Don't stress, just keep yourself occupied."

For Emergency Contraception "On July 1st, I took Plan B One-Step 44 hours after sex where a condom failed. I took the pill 5 days before the expected period. I had no spotting or major symptoms, was just a little tired after I took it. My period was supposed to start on July 6th, and it was 10 days late and started on the 16th. I've never been happier to see my period! My cramps were awful, but I am sure thankful for this pill. Don't be scared if your period is over a week late. I stressed so bad and had every right to, but it can definitely be later than that. Just give it time and take a test if you're scared!"

For Emergency Contraception "My lover and I had unprotected sex on 12/26 when afterwards I realized I was at my prime ovulation time (Day 13 of my cycle; I have a 26-day cycle). As it was Saturday evening, I couldn't get Plan B that night. The next day, 12/27, was a Sunday, so all the pharmacies were closed. By the time I got my Plan B, it was already Monday late afternoon and almost 48 hours after sex. I took it immediately and felt nothing at all, no nausea, no vomiting, no diarrhea, nothing... except I was very tired and Monday night slept for close to 12 hours. What followed was 2 full weeks of pure stress. Imagine how happy I was when I got my period on my scheduled date! So relax, girls, if you take Plan B according to its instructions, it will work."

For Emergency Contraception "So I figured I’d share my experience as a first-time user. So I had an oops about 6 days after my period had ended, so about 30 minutes after the incident, I took a Plan B. I didn’t get any of the nauseousness or tiredness, I felt totally fine. About 5 days after taking the pill, I had spotting that started pinkish into full heavy bleeding, almost like a period, for about 3-4 days. I assume this was breakthrough bleeding from the pill, which was a common side effect. May 24th was supposed to be my period, but that came and went. Finally, after weeks of stress, yesterday, which would be the 10th of June, a very heavy and ache-filled period began. For all those who take it and are nervous about it, it seems that late periods and early periods are common side effects. I kept reading this forum to make myself feel better about having such a late period. Don’t worry, your period will come if the pill was used correctly! :)"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex and immediately looked on my period tracker app to see when I was ovulating. It happened to be that day. I panicked and went out the very next morning and took Plan B. Right after I took it, I had side pain on my left side and lower back pain along with feeling very tired. After that, the waiting began. I took two pregnancy tests because my boobs were starting to feel sore. Both were negative. I have stressed like crazy and started my period today. A day earlier than what I was supposed to start! Plan B works, don't read the bad reviews, they will just cause more anxiety. Keep calm and wait."
