For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on Nov 6. Stupid idea. After we were done, he noticed that he finished inside of me. I was beyond scared. We aren't ready for a baby. We went to CVS, I took the pill less than an hour after intercourse. Days passed, no period. It was about a week late. I was really stressed, I actually thought I was pregnant. One of the side effects is always being tired and sleepy. The 50 dollars is totally worth it!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B after having unprotected sex. I took it exactly 6 hours after sex. Ladies, this pill will mess up your hormones like crazy. So do not be afraid if this happens. On the first day of taking the pill, I didn’t experience anything. On the second day, I felt extremely tired and had frequent urination, cravings, and painful tummy cramps like period pains, and this went on for a month. My period was 3 or 4 days late. So the pill worked. I also took a lot of pregnancy tests to just check. My breasts grew and were painful. I’m still on my period now, and it should end tomorrow. I still feel tired and still feel like I need to pee often, but it’s much better than the previous weeks. It will take time for your hormones to get back to how they were. So don’t panic."

For Emergency Contraception "The condom ripped on Aug 16th, but he did not finish inside of me. The chance of getting pregnant from pre-cum is much less than the chance of getting pregnant from semen, but it still might be possible, so to be safe, I got Plan B One-Step. My period tracker had estimated I was to ovulate the 17th. I had taken the pill 16 hours after sex. I did experience nausea, lower stomach pain, dizziness, and tiredness, but it was nothing too extreme. I was expected to get my period Aug 31st, and I got my period yesterday, Aug 22nd! A week early! My cramps are worse than usual, but nothing I can't handle! Better than being 16 and pregnant! Take the pill ASAP and let it do its thing. Don't stress, girls. Be positive and keep yourself busy!!(:"

For Emergency Contraception "Ok, so my boyfriend came in me while I was ovulating. Freaked out and went to the drug store and bought one and took it within an hour of unprotected sex. Next day, I had crazy side effects of nausea, and I felt like I was really slowed down. The side effects lasted a week, and I felt very tired all the time and took a lot of naps. The worst side effect was my mood. I felt like a different person. My hormones were very messed up. I was anxious, scared, mean (lost my boyfriend through this), it was crazy. I thought I was for sure pregnant. I went to the doctors, and they said it was too early to know if I was pregnant, so I had to wait it out, and it was one of the worst months of my life. I was constantly looking at Google, believing that I was pregnant. My boobs began to get big, and I had cramps that lasted 1 1/2 weeks. I couldn’t take it any longer, so I took a test... negative. Two days later, I got my period. It was about 1-2 days late. Don’t stress, just relax and take it as a big lesson to use protection!"

For Emergency Contraception "This review is about to be so long, but I really, really want to ease the minds of people in the same boat as I was. 1.) EVERYTHING WILL BE OK, REMEMBER THAT. 2.) I had unprotected sex during ovulation, and my partner pulled out, not finishing in me. I then got Plan B and took it 6 hours after. I felt very tired that day and nauseous. About 5 days later, I experienced bloating, frequent urination, cramping, and brownish/red bleeding for 5 days. However, this was not my period, it was the withdrawal bleeding from the pill. I continued to have these symptoms and waited for my June 26th period, which never came. I became very nervous because I was starting to develop almost all the symptoms of early pregnancy. I had frequent urination, thought I had morning sickness - but it worked - Don't panic."

For Emergency Contraception "Ovulated: 9/7 Intercourse: 9/8 1-2 am Took Plan B: 9-9:30 am Expected period: 9/21 Got my period: 9/21 I do not take birth control, and this was my first time taking Plan B. The whole first week after taking Plan B, I was nauseous, had no appetite, and was tired as anything to the point where, as soon as I got off from work, I hit the bed, but when I woke up, I was still beyond tired and thought that’s definitely a pregnancy symptom, and I was getting slightly concerned if the Plan B was working. This week, I started feeling better, however, now my nipples are really sore. I get PMS before my period, particularly in my head, and I felt like maybe it’s coming, but seeing reviews from y’all, I was prepared for my period to come late. I was still a little on the fence. Let’s just say I’ve got my period. Usually, my first two days are my light days before it gets heavy, and it’s already heavy, and I am cramping mildly. But I would rather be having my period than a pregnancy. BE PATIENT, DO NOT STRESS."

For Emergency Contraception "It does what it is supposed to do - I didn't get pregnant. However, I took it two months ago (Sept 21), and I'm still seeing side effects. I've always had very mild periods, with PMS symptoms starting about a week prior. Now my periods are crazy heavy, and the cramping (which is much worse and more painful), feeling sick, tiredness, and breast tenderness start two weeks before my period. I hope eventually my body will get back to normal, but so far I've seen nothing but bad side effects from this medicine. Keep in mind, I'm 5'4" and I weigh 120 lbs, and being small may have something to do with it. Also, I usually don't take medication and have never been on birth control because of bad side effects."

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex with my boyfriend, and the condom broke. Didn't realize it until he finished. We freaked out and bought Plan B within the hour of us having sex. I didn't have many side effects until about a week later. My breasts were tender and had cramps. I was tired most of the time. Two weeks passed, and today I got my period. The pill worked! Just don't stress out. I tried not to. I came on here just to read the reviews so I felt better. I was also not on the pill, and I am going to be soon. I'm not a very sexual person, and I wasn't thinking straight. I have definitely learned my lesson. DON'T STRESS, THINGS WILL BE OKAY!"

For Emergency Contraception "The condom broke on July 4th, and we didn't realize it broke till after he finished inside of me. I'm not on BC, so we immediately went to the store to buy Plan B One-Step, and I took it within the hour of it happening. I did some research, and I was in the time of ovulating. This made me really nervous that it could increase my chances of getting pregnant, but I knew that all I could do was wait and see what happens. Symptoms I experienced were tiredness, moodiness, bloating, and very sensitive and sore breasts. Today I'm happy to say I GOT MY PERIOD!!! It was only 1 day late. I'm so relieved!!! My advice is don't wait, take the pill ASAP and let it do its work. DON'T STRESS or think about it too much. Be positive & keep yourself busy."

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex with a one-night stand... woke up the next day freaking out, went to the store, got the pill, and then threw it up 15 mins later because I was so hungover. Didn’t know what to do but decided to go buy another one. Took that and hoped for the best. The next few days I was terrified and only thought about how I could be pregnant, read reviews, and freaked myself out. Had stomach pains, felt nauseous and tired for about 3-4 days after taking the pill. Seriously had the worst anxiety ever waiting for my period. Didn’t sleep, I was so worried... I wasn’t ovulating when I had the sex but was still super unsure of what the outcome would be. Waited the longest week of my life and got my period exactly a week after I took the pill. It works, ladies!! You’re gonna be worried but don’t freak yourself out too much! Just keep praying and do not look on the internet, that made the worry so much worse!! Best luck to you all!"

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex near my ovulation date and freaked out, so I went to go get the Plan B pill. Was $24 since my insurance covered some of it and had my boyfriend pay for it. I was really nauseous on and off, had headaches, and was dizzy. I was REALLY tired too. My period came two weeks earlier, and it was really bad. Had big blood clots, really heavy period. The cramps were terrible. It was an unpleasant experience. BUT no baby. So that's good. Really helped. Really wish guys would go through this too. It's really unfair all we women go through."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had a mistake; we usually use my cycle awareness and pull-out method as birth control. It was successful for 6 months. We had a mistake one night, and I knew I was ovulating, so I went to the doctor the next day and took the Plan B within 24-30 hours after the mistake. Well, 2 weeks later, I started getting my usual period symptoms: sore breasts, tired, hungry, irritable, bloated. But this time, the bleeding never came. I'm now 8 weeks pregnant. The doctor said it's rare, only 5%, but it can happen. So please be careful! I've had other experiences with Plan B that were positive, and it worked, but I guess God had a different plan this time."

For Emergency Contraception "I had to take Plan B on February 27th (the day my period ended) and also March 16th. The condom broke both times, and I was so worried. This site helped me so much, though, trust what the girls on here are saying because I got my period yesterday!! I had a lot of symptoms the whole month. I was tired, my boobs hurt the entire time, and I even thought my nipples got darker. But trust in it, you will be fine, I promise. I’m getting on birth control now, it was not worth all the worrying."

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex 2 days after my period on Jan. 21, and he had a condom on, but we saw the condom broke after. I took the pill 10 hours later and had slight nausea, but was super tired and lost my appetite. 5 days after taking the pill, I bled lightly for a couple of days. After this, my waiting time until my projected period was so stressful because I started to feel nauseous on Feb. 5. After 1 week of nausea, my breasts became swollen, and I thought it was my period that was about to come on Feb. 11. I noticed my mood swings change drastically, and I could've sworn I was pregnant. But to my delight, I woke up this morning, Feb. 18, to my period! It worked for me, and I hope it works for you all too. Just don't stress because you'll probably make yourself feel nauseous like I did."

For Emergency Contraception "You all kept me sane after how much I was panicking. My boyfriend and I are doing long distance, but I went to visit him one weekend, and we had unprotected sex. He came in me, but I hadn’t realized that I was ovulating, so I panicked. We decided to wait till the morning to go get Plan B, so we did, like 6 hours after doing the deed. I then started reading up on Google and found out the pill doesn’t work if you’re ovulating, so I started crying and freaking out. A couple days later, I started feeling super sore and tender breasts, and a week later, I was a lot more tired than usual. I couldn’t stop Googling my symptoms, and it would all lead back to pregnancy. I just recently found out that menstrual, Plan B, and pregnancy symptoms are all the same, so don’t freak out! Anyway, fast forward to today, I got my period!! I am 2 days early, but the pill does mess with your cycle, so you’ll either get it early or late. Sorry I doubted you all, it works!!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "The condom broke during sex. I took Plan B an hour after. I had awful cramps and bloating and tiredness and felt dizzy for a week, and the period came early. All tests came back negative. I would have given it a 10 if the side effects didn’t suck so much, but all in all, happy."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on September 9th and took Plan B six hours later. I have hormonal imbalances in the first place, so the side effects made me hella exhausted and hungry. However, after the longest two weeks of my life, scrolling through this website and driving myself insane, I got my period this morning! Trust me, this pill works. I know it's hard, but try not to worry, or at least take your mind off it and let it do its work. At the end of the day, a $40 pill is way less expensive than a child."

For Emergency Contraception "Our condom seemed to not have worked properly, but I had to work, so I didn't take the pill until about 18 hours later. I have taken the two-pill process about a year ago when the same had happened, and I didn't become pregnant then nor experience side effects that were noticeable. With this pill, I have been tired, but I am a teacher who works long hours and grades late into the evening, so I didn't attribute it to the pill. I was not nauseated but took it a couple of hours before bed and was my usual tired self. My period came 5 days later with a vengeance (strong cramps/heavier bleeding). It is 2 weeks early, which scared me a bit. That is why I wrote this review and sought out others. I also experienced diarrhea due to cramps being so strong."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with full-on ejaculation on Nov 3rd. I am well over the alleged weight limit. Went to Walgreens and took Plan B an hour and a half after intercourse. I took the pill and waited for the longest 12 days of my life. The night I took it, I went to bed almost immediately. I was fine through the night. I woke up slightly dizzy, but that wore off. I was a little crampy, tired, and a little nauseated for the most part. Nothing that stopped me from everyday activities. Two days later, I started PMS symptoms, but like 10x. My breasts ached so bad, much worse than regular PMS breast pain. I had little cramps throughout the day for the full 12 days, and I was nauseated at random times. Also, I was a total cow (this was probably also due to the stress haha). On Nov 18, I got my period. This pill works as long as you are not already ovulating. Like I said, I also took it right away. I hope this helps someone. Stay as calm as possible and have faith in this pill! It really works!"

For Emergency Contraception "Took 2 Plan B's in one month after unprotected sex. My last real period was May 7th. Took the Plan B's the 15th and the 25th. Each time I took it, I bled 5 days later. The month of June was miserable-bloating, headaches, emotional mood swings, cramping (with no period), dizziness, and tiredness. I ended up taking a HPT (which came back negative). Finally, I got my period on June 29th. Almost 2 months after my last real one (if you don't count the bleeding from taking the pill). Plan B WORKS. The side effects were worth the end result of not getting pregnant! Hope this review helps put someone's mind at ease. If your period is late, it's because of the high amount of hormones in this pill. Just wait it out and try not to stress."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm writing because these really helped me when I was badly stressing. For 1 month and 8 days after taking Plan B, I've experienced a really bad mood and gas everywhere in my low abdomen, and it felt like it was almost in the ovaries! It never went away and was present 24/7. I was so bloated and a lot more tired than usual. I was supposed to have my period on the start of October, but I only got it today, or 19 days late, and it is really light and painful, not what I'm used to. But it works, and at least you experience happiness because of a period, at least once."

I had a slight bit of nausea, tiredness, and dizziness shortly after taking the pill, but no other side effects. I got my period about a week later, so it worked. It wasn't heavier or more painful than normal."

For Emergency Contraception "It works, ladies!!! Soooo, I just started dating this guy finally after talking for 6 months. Had sex on my ovulation day. Took the pill roughly 40 minutes afterwards. Then had sex the following week and he came inside me, so panicking again took the pill 23 hours later. The first time didn't feel any side effects but tiredness. The second time my boobs were tender, my back ached, I cramped really bad, and had headaches. Lol, it's funny that as soon as I was about to take a pregnancy test, I went to the bathroom and saw RED! I took it still, but it was negative obviously. Period was two days early but I'm just glad it came on today!"

For Emergency Contraception "Took Plan B 14 hrs after unprotected sex & the 3rd day of just starting the birth control pill (supposed to use a backup method the 1st week). Right after I took it, I felt a little nauseous, but it wasn't unbearable. My period wasn't due for another 3 weeks (took birth control regularly leading up). Kept getting abdomen pain & I was very tired on random days throughout the 3 weeks. Thankfully, got my period the day I was expecting to! So thankful there is a pill for when mistakes are made!"
