"Started taking Lenvima about 36 months ago. No immediate side effect, and 6 months later, I began losing weight via nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, for a total of 102 lbs. Not sure that's the best way to do it, though. Painful right leg swelling makes it hard to get around, but a walker helps (bonus: you have an instant chair when you're waiting in slow lines!) Overall, there are many different little annoyances, but the bright side is you're still alive! Don't take it for granted!!"

"Started Lenvima Dec 2021 for DTC - thyroid cancer brain metastasis. I had 7 removed during an 18-month period prior to starting Lenvima. I've only had 1 removed in the past 3 years. It's been 3 plus years of various doses due to side effects -- started at 24 mg, then 20 mg, 18 mg, 16 mg, 14 mg -- cancer progression and back up to 16 mg, which does control my brain lesions and now lung lesion. Unfortunately, the side effects are worse for me at this dosage - nausea and diarrhea mainly. Absolutely better than more brain lesions!!! It's been almost 6 -- YES SIX YEARS of having brain metastasis from DTC and am living an amazing life doing everything I want!!"
