For Insomnia "I have been taking 6.25 mg Zolpidem for 6 years. I asked my doctor if there was something else to try that may be less habit forming. I tried it last night for the first time and will not take it again. I didn't sleep well. Seems like I saw every hour on the hour and had bad dreams when I did fall asleep. Been groggy and foggy all day. I'm done and going back to Zolpidem."

For Insomnia "I have insomnia post-COVID infection. Been on 12.5 mg Ambien and 0.5 mg clonazepam for 2 months and started to build tolerance. My doctor suggested Dayvigo, saying no side effects and will not build tolerance. I was given hope. Yet, I read so many bad reviews and was reluctant to take it. I asked my husband to help monitor my sleep yesterday and took 0.5 mg of Dayvigo around 11 pm. Felt no effect and couldn't sleep until 1 to 2 am. I started to feel sleep paralysis and there were vivid dreams when I was trying to wake my husband up, and I heard a baby crying where there's no baby in the house. I knew it was a dream, so I composed myself and was finally able to move. I also had sharp joint pain in my left leg throughout the night. My GI issue also flared up, not sure if it's the effect of the med. It gave me zero restful sleep, worse than Ambien, which gave me 4 to 5 hours. This med is not for me, sadly, and I will not recommend it to anybody. Hope a better alternative works better."

"This is the worst medicine that I have ever taken for insomnia. It doesn’t work no matter how many pills you take. It made me have the most weird dreams ever. It’s a horrible medicine. Don’t ever, ever, ever, ever, ever take this medication."

For Insomnia "I suffer from insomnia and do not remember the last time I had a full night's sleep. My Dr. prescribed me this for a couple of weeks to see how it worked. The first night was terrifying, major anxiety, weird dreams, and did not sleep well. Second night, arm and leg spasms, which woke me up and scared the living daylight out of me! Third night slept better, vivid dreams but nothing scary. I did wake up in the middle of the night twice but managed to sleep pretty quickly after. I have work today but have woken up feeling so exhausted. So, not really sure what to think about these pills..."

For Insomnia "Oh man, where do I start? This drug was a lifesaver at first. I had gone through all the others, and this was the first one that I felt had no side effects and did not cause dependency. Fast forward a few months. I am always tired despite sleeping most of the night. The sleep paralysis has made me dread bedtime. I have very vivid dreams and talk in my sleep. I even sleepwalked once and almost burned the place down, although to be fair, I drank tequila that day, but I have never sleepwalked before. I don't know how I put the fire out because I have no recollection of the night except the evidence the following day. I have constant nausea and headaches during the day. I move like a sloth. My high energy is no more. I have my depression under control, this is the only new thing I have in my meds. I am going to stop taking it for a few weeks and see if I improve. I will report back. It's been two days already, and I feel better. Keep your heads up. It is what it is."

For Insomnia "Side effects: paralysis, vivid dreams, erotic, brain zaps. Got the 10-day sample. Night one, I assumed I had something else going on, then day two, the same experience. I noticed I was tired an hour after taking it. Laid down, and soon after, had a weird line zing/zap feel. Almost like it was only half my head. Then I became anxious and realized I couldn't move—SLEEP PARALYSIS hardcore. I haven't had that issue since childhood! Then erotic feelings crept up BAD. After, I couldn't even keep my eyes open. Slept for 4 hours, had vivid dreams, then woke again, ate cereal, and passed out. No grogginess at all. Only a small challenge to wake up the second morning. Overall, if it wasn't for the paralysis and fear of the odd brain zing/zaps (I swear they were orange and red), the sleep would be worth it."

For Insomnia "Five weeks into 5 mg of Dayvigo after 20 years of Imovane. I have suffered a lifetime of insomnia that impacts my having to sleep and be alert doing 12-hour shifts in a high-stress job. I'm not certain if the side effects I'm experiencing are all from Dayvigo or from withdrawing from Imovane. I found the first week I experienced dry mouth, headaches, and intermittent sleep. Since then, I am sleeping deeply, waking a few times during the night and sometimes going right back to sleep, on other nights, not being able to return to sleep. I am still finding vivid dreams, usually close to the morning when I should be waking up, and occasional restless legs and some hallucinations. I am very tired during the day and actually slept off and on until 3:00 in the afternoon yesterday. I have to nap during the afternoon, but being 69 and retired, it is worth sleeping at night. I was finding I was having memory issues on Imovane, and if Dayvigo is safer, I will continue taking it. Hopefully, the side effects diminish soon."

For Insomnia "Caused very vivid dreams. I had three different dreams - two sad dreams and one quite scary dream, but fortunately, I like horror so I enjoyed the scary one. Hmm, the dreams caused by this drug are very different from my usual ones when I'm not on a sleeping pill or when I just take melatonin. It's VERY VERY vivid. There are colors and sounds. Once the dream ends, you'll go to the next dream instantly. Also, when I was just starting to sleep, I kept hearing music continuously even though there was no music playing in my house. I'm not sure if this is okay with others who aren't okay with scary dreams. I was finally able to sleep for more than 8 hours because of this though."

For Insomnia "Dayvigo 5 mg and 10 mg. I fall asleep quickly, but at a cost. The sleep is restless, I have vivid nightmares, and the next day I'm drowsy the entire day. It's horrible. Never again."

For Insomnia "Had really bad, vivid nightmares, and the quality of sleep was poor. Nightmares or vivid dreams seem like common side effects."

For Insomnia "I would NEVER take this again! The first time I took it, I was sluggish, but I couldn’t sleep. I kept tossing, turning while my tachycardia condition got worse. I was struggling to catch my breath, and I was so anxious. I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. When I finally went to sleep, I had extremely vivid nightmares. I felt trapped because I couldn’t wake up to end it. After I woke up, I felt more tired than I did before I took Dayvigo. I woke up feeling extremely agitated and anxious. It was like I didn’t even sleep at all. I wouldn’t recommend this medicine to anyone. If it worked for you, I’m glad it did, but it didn’t help me at all."
