Hydrochlorothiazide / losartan for High Blood Pressure "Just started taking this a few weeks ago, and it's already working for me. Blood pressure went from 200/92 to 140/79 when last checked. Slight feeling of lightheadedness at first, but gone now. Also take ibuprofen with no side effects."

For High Blood Pressure "Started at a low dose, hydrochlorothiazide with losartan now up to 100/25 mg. Been on it for almost a year and had a significant decrease in my BP. Down to 120/80. Still get a little light-headed if I get up too quickly and am constantly thirsty. Minor side effects to control my BP. Now I just need to lose some weight and exercise!"

For High Blood Pressure "I started using Lisinopril HCTZ and had muscle aches, a lower desire for sex, but the blood pressure was under control at 110/80. After reporting to my doctor, he suggested Diovan HCTZ. I started losing a lot of hair, but my sex drive got much better. I met the doctor again and was concerned about my hair loss, as I read that the majority of Diovan users lost hair. I switched to Losartan HCTZ 50/12.5 mg, and the blood pressure was under control and the best since I started taking blood pressure medication. In the morning is the best time to measure it, prior to taking the pill, as it's 24 hours after taking the pill. This pill is the most effective for me. I know it's only a week, but I had a couple of coughs and a couple of instances of slight lightheadedness."
