I’m going on 3 weeks taking Mavyret, and I’ve had very mild headaches here and there, tiredness the first few days, so I started taking them in the evenings so I’ll be tired when it’s time to go to bed. For Hepatitis C "Took Mavyret for 2 months, only got headaches and nausea the first few days of taking, then nothing after the first week. Got first blood test halfway through the meds and the virus was gone. Got blood test 3 months after finishing, and the Hep C virus is still gone and I am now cured. Miracle drug!!!"

For Hepatitis C "After finishing my Mavyret treatment almost 4 months ago, I just found out today from blood work that the hep C virus is undetected, and I couldn’t be happier and so relieved! It gave me the motivation to share with the rest of you. Give it a chance to work, trust me. I took only a 4-week treatment because that’s all my insurance would allow. And even though the first week or two was a bit tough, I powered through because I really wanted this to work. In those 1-2 weeks, I did get extremely fatigued and a headache. It was hard sometimes keeping my head up and eyes open at work. But then I got used to the medication, and that all eventually stopped. No more side effects for the rest of the treatment. I took the 3 giant horse pills at night after dinner before bed. Try to fight through those side effects if you can, because I promise the outcome in the end is so worth it!!"

For Hepatitis C "So I started Mavyret 2 days ago, and so far my symptoms have been headache, fatigue, slight confusion, and dizziness. But other than that, it's going okay so far. I'm the type of person that my stomach gets upset very easily if I don't eat or if I work too hard. I need to eat more often, so I'm really hoping that this stuff doesn't mess with my stomach. So far, I haven't been nauseous, and I really hope that I don't get nauseous. But I will come back in 8 weeks when I complete and give an update. Anything is possible, you just got to keep trying."

For Hepatitis C "I'm on week 2 of Mavyret. I take it at 9 pm with a meal and drink plenty of fluids. So far, it seems to be working alright. The side effects I've experienced have been nausea, a slight headache, and tiredness. It has seemed that my menstrual cycle is heavier than normal, but I think it's due to the meds and my body fighting the hep C. I should be getting blood work done once I finish the first half of treatment. I will update and let everyone know how things are going."

For Hepatitis C "I am on my 5th day of Mavyret. I received the medication 10 months ago and was hesitant about starting it until my doctor convinced me last week. I already feel better mentally, although I have not gotten more than 2 hours of sleep each night since starting. Weird dreams while halfway sleeping, slight headache, and a few aches, but I am more talkative and social. I am able to work full time, and even though I am barely getting any sleep, I still have the energy to get through the day. After taking the meds with food at night around 10 to 11 p.m., I feel a slight euphoric feeling equivalent to Adderall. I am just ready to be Hep C free, so I know all of this will be worth it. I don't know how or why, but I feel better mentally already and am able to talk and be around others. Stay strong and God bless!"

For Hepatitis C "I’ve had hepatitis C for 30 years. I have also had Hep B. I was told that there had been cases where my Hep B could reoccur. That could be very dangerous. But the benefits of being cured of hepatitis C outweighed the chance. I will be checked on and have been informed of any signs of Hep B reoccurring. I am on day 9 of Mavyret treatment. I am grateful for the opportunity of being cured. I have had a headache, a bit of nausea, but it has seemed to calm down. Last night and today I’ve been having some cramping in my stomach area. If it continues, I’ll call the doctor. I will stay in touch with my journey."

For Hepatitis C "I didn't start having side effects until about 4-5 weeks into the medication. It seems like 19-24 hours when my next dose is due. That's the worst time for the side effects, it's weird. But then I take the medication, I'm okay. But I wake up, I feel a little bit achy in my joints. Like my ankles, hands, back, knees. I have a headache, and it only gets worse through the day. I take my medication at night because I work 12-hour shifts. But after I take it, I feel better. My sex drive has increased, though. I feel sick, lightheaded. Worrying, I worry already, so... I just wish my bones wouldn't hurt and I didn't have the sick, tired feeling."

For Hepatitis C "I am a 36-year-old female and have been diagnosed with hep C for 6 years. I am about 2 days away from finishing my 4th week, so right about the halfway mark. I read someone on here write they have some good days and some weird days, and I couldn't have written that better myself. I can't say I have experienced fatigue, but a general weirdness, and kind of out of it sometimes. I am a single mother of a 4-year-old boy. I work full time in a busy grocery store, and my job is physical and draining. So far, I haven't missed any work. My first week, I didn't feel much of anything, my second week, my anxiety spiked, but so did my energy level. In the third week, my stomach started feeling like it's burning, and constant acid reflux and burning tongue (I have GERD). I do get a weird headache. I eat a large meal and drink tons of water around the clock, take meds at 6 pm."

For Hepatitis C "I am on day 5, and I don't like it. I am considering stopping. It has me anxious, not sleeping, not eating, itching, and burning. Muscle aches, not thinking clearly. The one side effect I expected, headaches, I haven’t got at all, but with everything else, I’m damn near miserable. I feel like I’d take my chances with the hep C, I wasn’t even that elevated to warrant feeling this was in my mind."

For Hepatitis C "I had hep C for over 30 years. Started to really not feel well, and my Dr. said my hep C levels were so high he didn't know if I would respond to treatment. Now, after 8 weeks and having finished the treatment, oh, after 4 weeks had blood work and no hep C detected. I do feel a little better, and I did have fatigue, headache, and nausea. I actually only completed the treatment 2 days ago and am hoping to start feeling better like I did when the virus was dormant."

For Hepatitis C "I am on my 5th week of the 8-week treatment of Mavyret. I am also on 140 mgs of methadone as well. The side effects I've experienced are nausea, anxiety, slight headache, and tiredness. I've been taking my medication in the morning with breakfast, and within a few hours, I feel tired and nauseous. After reading the reviews on here, I am going to change my time and take it at bedtime, and maybe that will help. Otherwise, I am very hopeful and am staying positive to beat this hep C. For Hepatitis C "Throughout the whole process, I had minimal side effects. The only side effect was a headache on day 5. But then it went away. I’m now on week 6, and the side effect I’m experiencing the most is joint pain. It feels like my bones and joints are on fire from my fingers, shoulders, back, hips, legs, and toes… No amount of stretching or popping is alleviating the discomfort… I had experienced this on and off through most of the treatment, but now I feel it at an intensity that is affecting my day-to-day life. I only have 2 more weeks of treatment, so hopefully I can feel normal soon."
