Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have been taking Trelegy for quite some time now and noticed it works great but only for so long. My go-to secondary inhaler was Symbicort which worked fabulous but insurance stopped paying for it. I get this crazy brain and body rush right after I inhale and hold my breath for just a few seconds. But all in all, Trelegy is a pretty great medication."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Since being on Trelegy, I have not had a serious asthma attack - not having to call an ambulance or ending up in the hospital. I am 78 years old and was finally diagnosed in my 70s with 'late onset silent asthma'."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "My spirometry improved within a month of my change of maintenance inhaler to Trelegy. My spirometry is monitored and tested daily. I did experience nasal congestion, sinusitis, bronchitis, and viral pneumonia while taking it. I’m fully recovered and still have improved average percentage of lung capacity. I am aware of how to take it in the morning. I’m now aware that I need to protect myself more when around people."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Absolutely love Trelegy Ellipta. I have both COPD and asthma, and I can tell you, it's 100% effective. Trelegy works fast and lasts throughout the day. I'd also like to add that Trelegy paid for my prescription for over a year, but my insurance company chose to charge me a co-pay, regardless."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "It stopped the tightness under my sternum but immediately caused severe leg cramps at night so I stopped using it. One complication is that I take 2 other meds (for blood pressure and reflux) that can also cause leg cramps, so I assume that one more was too much. I'm trying to figure out a way to use it without the cramps. This site has given me some good suggestions."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have had asthma all my life and lived with rescue inhalers. Finally, after 50 years of suffering with breathing, this product is a blessing. I have used this for three months now, once a day, and it's great."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy Ellipta has been very effective at controlling my asthma and chest tightness. I was very happy with those results. However, I have also experienced increasing nighttime calf and foot cramps and headaches. The cramps are causing sleep loss and I may have to go off Trelegy."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I've been taking Trelegy for about 1.5 years now (since I was 25, female). I got Covid in March 2020 and now have long Covid, and my lungs hadn't quite been the same. I developed panic attacks as a result. I was using albuterol up to 4x a day (so bad for anxiety!) and have GERD that refluxes into lungs causing wheezing from all of the gunk. It's been amazing for the silent reflux mucus-lungs! I was able to stop wheezing all the time and now only use my albuterol rarely. I haven't noticed any side effects that couldn't be explained by the long Covid/didn't already exist. Unfortunately, my asthma doc started me on 200, so there won't be any higher I could go. It's worth trying if you're already at the end of your rope. My only warning: Be careful of withdrawals, especially from the 200. It takes a few days for withdrawals to start, but the rebound fills your lungs back up. Also, get the manufacturer coupon, it's super expensive."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I recently was prescribed Trelegy Ellipta 200. It seemed to help, but about a month into treatment, woke up to a swollen red face, which seemed to lessen with prescribed steroids. But the next day, my neck was red also. After a visit to my Primary Doctor, he advised going back to Advair."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Soon after I started using Trelegy Ellipta, my mouth became extremely dry to the point that now I find it hard to chew food. I also find that toothpaste stings the inside walls of my mouth and tongue. I have looked but see no whiteness as I would if I had thrush. I used to use Symbicort, and the doctor started me on about a month ago on Trelegy. I liked it since I only had to take it once a day, but I don't like the powder that sticks in my throat after use. I swish and gargle after each use. It is hard for me to see if I have thrush in my throat. I am also suffering from a rash and had prick tests last week that confirm old allergic environmental reactions. The rash is not going away, and severe itching is now in the lower back."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I had an asthma problem for a long time and it has been getting worse recently. So, my doctor changed my inhaler to Trelegy Ellipta a few days ago. After using it for three days, I noticed that my wheezing has improved and I have less mucus already."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Controls my asthma. My doctor switched me to breather and I had an asthma attack on it. I used a rescue inhaler and a nebulizer. I switched back to Trelegy and feel much better. I have mouth sores, increased urination, and other mild side effects, but it is worth it to breathe better."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I can finally breathe and walk without sounding like I'm going to die from being short of breath!!! I have been suffering for almost 6 years taking my regular inhaler, action inhaler seeing Pulmonary specialist. Finally my doctor sent me to allergy and asthma and they took me off of my regular inhaler put me on Trelegy Ellipta and allergy shots and now I can breathe like a normal person!!! I'm so excited I could cry! No negative side effects so I'm very happy."

"I was wheezing all day long even though I had a rescue inhaler, and a regular inhaler. I began to feel out of breath a lot and was using both inhalers more than 3 times a day with very little relief. The wheezing became louder as time went on. It was draining on me. My doctor said try Trelegy to see if I could get some relief. After probably 3 days, I began to feel better. I could feel that my lung function was definitely improving to my satisfaction. I haven't felt the need to use my regular inhaler since a week after being on Trelegy. I feel so much better because I can breathe a full breath and have only felt or heard wheezing a few times. Trelegy is working for me. However, the cost is killing me! My copay is $180.00 a month! I tried to get a coupon to reduce the cost but no go! I may have to stop using it. I am a retired teacher, my husband is due to retire also. Once he retires, I fear I will need to switch back to Symbicort and my regular inhaler, with little improvement to health."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "This really works. The first day, I could feel it working. I could finish 20 minutes of spinning, but could barely make it through. I did it a couple more times, barely making it. I got sick with the flu or COVID, I don't know which one, to be honest, busy with work and a month later, which was 2 and a half months of taking Trelegy, I decided it was time to get back to spinning. Much to my surprise, I was able to do a half hour without stopping and without feeling like I could barely make it through. I didn't yawn in the beginning, like I normally do. Which means my body didn't need more oxygen because it was getting it and my lungs were opened up and in peak working order. Now I can exercise the way I used to."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have been using Trelegy since 2/2/24. I was using another inhaler for 90 days prior. It always feels like I am not getting enough air when I breathe after I take my Trelegy. Of course, I am grabbing my bottled water and heading to gargle and rinse immediately after I gently release my breath. Other than that, I have only concerns about side effects."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "It’s easy to use the first thing in the morning, and it’s greatly improved breathing, reduced coughing, improved sleep, wheezing disappeared, and the need for a rescue inhaler, all in the first week. Thank you!"

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have taken Trelegy Ellipta 100 mcg for the past 5 consecutive days. I noticed that I was breathing easily at night the first 3 nights. However, the 4th night was totally different, as my nose got completely stopped up! I could hardly breathe through my nose, let alone sleep. Did 2 sinus rinses, still plugged up, so I added an antihistamine nasal spray. It helped some, but I still breathed through my mouth, and by morning, my sinuses were still mostly plugged up! Interestingly, a few hours later, my nasal passages were totally cleared out for normal breathing. This was no fun and disappointing. I am stopping the Trelegy Ellipta until consulting with my pulmonologist."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy Ellipta is a game changer for my asthma, but the increase in heart rate is not worth it, plus the fluid retention. Heart rate goes from normal in the 60s to 80s to the high 90s. Sadly, the side effects are too much for me. Great drug other than my side effects."
