Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "I normally use Seebri, Flixotide and Atrovent and that was and is working very well. My lungs are 79% for 3 years now but lung specialist gave me Trelegy Ellipta because its better and easier, well never again. After using it I started to shake badly and didn't feel good at all. Started to breath differently. They tell you its the same just 3 in 1 but it is absolutely different. So tomorrow starting my old medicine again. Let them inform you good before you try."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "After 2 weeks on Trelegy, an $800 air purifier and 3 humidifiers, one on each floor of the house, am feeling great! Have had asthma most of my life. No side effects yet! Have tried different inhalers that were not nearly as effective."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "65 yr old female adult onset asthmatic. Switched from combivent and qvar late November. I loved what it did for clearing my airway, but by mid December i started being fatigued, in March pains, and by March 27 hospitalized for hypokalemia (2.5) and hyperglycemia. Switching back to prior inhalers."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "No problems with the results. HOWEVER, thrush occurred. I rinsed my mouth faithfully after each dosage. I think we should know other types of rinses so that we DONT get thrush so easily. There are home remedies."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "I used this med for months. All it did was create a sore mouth and throat and it dried my mouth out as well. I noticed that it aggravated my paralyzed larynx causing it to be a constant battle trying to clear the junk off my throat. It gave me pneumonia type symptoms that I had to treat multiple times with antibiotics. I finally took myself off the medication but it seems the effects are long lasting or forever at this point after 4 months."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "I have just started taking this medicine on Monday. Currently in the ER for the side effects; bronchial spasms, asthma exacerbation, tremors, wheezing, and unbalance. It does what it is supposed to do but watch out for the side effects."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "Switched from Breo to Trelegy recently, based on breathing expiratory tests indicated it might help. This is the height of my allergy season, when my asthma is at its worst. Rhinitis, Sinusitis, whatever, it is stuffy head and stuffed up noses, all make breathing deeply a chore. Trelegy does not seem to be working as well as the previous product, which I had only just begun using, and with good results. Trelegy does seem to improve breathing -- i.e. less "air hunger", but so did Breo. One negative side effect is weight gain. Not sure why, unless it is the steroids increasing my appetite. But two pounds in two days does not portend good long term results. May go back to Breo if this continues, and see if same weight gain happens with that product too."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "I have been taking Trelegy for quite some time now and noticed it works great but only for so long. My go-to secondary inhaler was Symbicort which worked fabulous but insurance stopped paying for it. I get this crazy brain and body rush right after I inhale and hold my breath for just a few seconds. But all in all, Trelegy is a pretty great medication."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "Trelegy use made me not hungry and food taste gross. I now use breo and incruse and I don't get it they are all made by the same company but I don't get my food tasting bad by what I am using now. Trelegy for me has a $10 co pay and I spend $60 more in copays because what I'm on now doesn't make my food taste bad."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "I have been using this inhaler for two days, and have seen some improvement as far as breathing in and breathing out and the tight chest is minimal. I think it’s a really good inhaler and I hope to continue to use it. The only side effect, that I can tell is the upper part of my mouth has a sore maybe, and a little itchy at the roof of my mouth other than that it’s not out of control or anything else for that matter but I do know it’s there."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "A wonder drug it controls my chronic asthma magnificently. The asthma cough it does not. I still have that old dry cough. It might be and allergy. When you use it be sure to rinse mouth with water. When I first took Trelegy cough stop from the shock of new medication but returned a month later. But my breathing is awesome."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "I have level 4 COPD and have been using my albuterol inhaler about 10 times a day for my breathing issues which I know is way to much. I have been on Trelegy for one month and have Not used my albuterol inhaler no more than 5 times Total. I am very very grateful for Trelegy and wish I started taking it sooner but because of the price I was unable to afford it. But since I just turned 65 I am able to afford it. No side effects for me and I do have heart disease."

I guess I was struggling when I breathe. Also I am 265lb so hopefully since I am moving more I'll lose weight. I haven't had side effects yet..been on it only a week..."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "I have asthma and COPD and scared to leave the house due to my breathing. I have taken every medication prescribed to me, and last week, my doctor prescribed Trelegy. So, I tried it, and from day one, I have not used my inhaler or nebulizer. I have had no breathing issues in 5 days, and I am able to leave my home without worries."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "I immediately felt my throat become irritated, then within a few days I could feel it become swollen, I could barely swallow. I stopped taking it when this occurred. In addition my joints ached. I also had excruciating back pain. Also, my breathing did not not improve significantly. One positive, my blood pressure dropped. It's not the medication for me."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "Simply amazing. Years of docs ignoring my actual symptoms. By the time I was diagnosed, I was pretty far along to the moderate/severe stage. After the first dose, approximately four hours in, I immediately started feeling a noticeable difference in the way I was breathing! And then, at around the initial six-hour dose, I noticed that the way I was breathing had changed! Now, I was breathing from my diaphragm (from the upper stomach area) down from the upper chest (labored). And as my daily dose during the first 30 days rounded the 18th hour, I started to notice how my breathing reverted back to labored upper chest breathing. But by the 45th day of Trelegy, my breathing had stayed at the diaphragm level, keeping a nice easy breathing pattern ever since. Once, there was a 4-day lapse in between 30-day supplies and by the second day of that lapse, I was immediately back to a very scary breathing problem. I [love] Trelegy."

I had horrific chest and back pain as well as more coughing and phlegm. I have no energy at all. I took my last dose of this today."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "I am relatively new to meds for COPD - and am also finding the costs are ridiculously high. I have been appealing to my insurance company- I called customer service-and they helped me get the forms for the doctor to appeal but have no results yet- but it's worth 'trying' at least. Maybe some of the others on here can try appeal or ask for special consideration as well - Good luck to us all"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "It makes congestion. It causes cough when I inhale it. I think it makes more phlegm in the throat. It causes headaches. It does help with my breathing daily. Very useful in regard to taking just once a day, that's great. My concern is inhaling too much in a dose."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "Well I ran out of Trelegy almost two months ago...was struggling... oxygen at night, 3 or 4 Duoneb treatments a day. My oxygen level was staying in the 80s. When I went to the bathroom or exerted myself (just a little), the level would drop. I just got a new prescription yesterday morning. I used it as soon as I got home. This morning I woke up to my oxygen being 94. 4 hours later it was still 94. I didn't get winded going to the bathroom. Walked around outside some later in the evening, my oxygen level got down to 87. I haven't taken any more meds. 14 hours later my oxygen level is 92. I would definitely recommend it. I just pray it does as well in the long run. The two weeks before I got it, I was around sawdust. I coughed so hard for two weeks; my ribs and head hurt so badly that I wanted to cry. Tell you, I was much better not long after I took Trelegy."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "Works absolutely great for my mild COPD maintenance. I found I could use it every other day. However, the pulmonologist is switching me, saying I don't need the steroid. The anti-cholinergic (umeclidinium) started creating a constipation problem, but this was expected and fixed with OTC stool softener (ducusate Na). I got a bad cramp in my calf at 5 AM one night, so this was unexpectedly LOWERING MY POTASSIUM. Watch out for that one. Ridiculously expensive! Of course, that's not something unusual for this particular inhaler. Big pharma loves you."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for COPD "Update: I have stage 4 emphysema and heart disease and have been using Trelegy for 6 months now. Best inhaler ever! It has done wonders. I haven’t had to use my rescue inhaler very much. And I get to play soccer with my grandkids. (Granted not for very long without a rest.) But has drastically changed my life. Thank you to the makers of Trelegy for I am forever grateful. Now if you can only do something about the price! Give Trelegy a try, it changed my life and maybe yours too?"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "My spirometry improved within a month of my change of maintenance inhaler to Trelegy. My spirometry is monitored and tested daily. I did experience nasal congestion, sinusitis, bronchitis, and viral pneumonia while taking it. I’m fully recovered and still have improved average percentage of lung capacity. I am aware of how to take it in the morning. I’m now aware that I need to protect myself more when around people."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) for Asthma "I used Trelegy Ellipta for three months. I found it did not last 24 hours but rather after 7 hours, I had to use my rescue inhaler. I started to have leg cramps and spasms in the second month of use. I also noticed increased blood pressure. After the third month, I stopped using this medication and switched to a different medication."
