For Birth Control "I've been on these for 6 months. I'm a very petite person, and ever since I was 17, I've had crazy bad cramps and acne. I've tried a few different kinds of pills, but the Low-Ogestrel-28 pills made me sick. Cramps never went away and even got worse. My acne got good within a few months, but then got bad again. My sex drive has decreased, and I hate that. It also has messed with my hormones, and I'm already emotional, so I'm ten times more upset when I don't need to be. I don't have a good appetite anymore, and it makes me more sick. It also made me throw up when I take them too late. My period goes from 4 days to 2 days, then a week, it's all over the place, and I would like a steady cycle. So, in all, these pills are too over the place, not really helpful."

For Birth Control "This was my first time experience with any birth control. I'm 22 and have no children and take no other medication. Unfortunately, this birth control side effect on me was numbness on the left side of my body (left arm and leg were both numb). Also, my sex drive decreased tremendously."

For Birth Control "Overall, this pill did what it was supposed to do for me. I never had a pregnancy scare, my acne virtually went away, my periods were lighter, shorter, and less painful. I did not experience any weight gain at all that can be contributed to taking the pill. The cons are that I could count on having a mild to moderate headache almost every day that I was taking the placebo pills, my sex drive randomly decreased dramatically, and I do think that it increased my anxiety. Personally, the pros always outweighed the cons for me."

For Birth Control "I had my period for a month straight after taking this for a couple of weeks. Then, when that was finally done and I got my period again the week before, I was extremely bloated and constipated. I have had no sex drive, when my boyfriend tries to be physical with me, I get disgusted, and my anxiety and depression have been horrible. Along with that, I have nausea almost every time I eat. I've been miserable. Worst birth control I have ever taken."

For Birth Control "I was originally prescribed Low-Ogestrel-28 once I got off the depo injection, which literally turned me into a different person. I only had two depo provera injections, and I was miserable. Side effects ranged from weight gain, anxiety/depression, hair loss, no sex drive, and constant bleeding. The best way I could describe it is as having a literal dark cloud over my head. Anyway, I was prescribed the Low-Ogestrel pill, and I’ve never been happier. I have absolutely no side effects, it’s amazing. My acne is significantly better. I mainly use the pill as a prevention of pregnancy and for my acne. So far, it’s been doing a superb job. I definitely recommend this pill, without a doubt."

For Birth Control "Well, just started these pills this month, on my third week, and I could already feel some minor side effects. I started cramping within the 2nd week, I'm a little bit more moody, and my sex drive definitely decreased, mainly because I've been cramping a lot. I will give it a couple of months before I decide to switch. Hopefully, it goes away."

For Birth Control "I was very fond of this birth control for many reasons. I was put on it a few months before I turned 17, and since I was about 12, my skin had been very bad. This medicine, combined with my dermatological medicines, kept my skin smooth and completely clear for months on end. My periods were never very painful and only started on Wednesday or Thursday with light bleeding and cramps. I was never moody and did not gain any weight at all, it might have actually regulated my weight. The only downside (and reason I'm switching) is that I had extreme vaginal dryness to the point where, during intercourse, we had to reapply lube at least three times. Sex became painful and unenjoyable for me, so I am switching to a birth control with less estrogen in it."
