For Ovarian Cysts "I've been on 3 different BC. The first was Loestrin 24 FE, which in the beginning worked great for treating cramps and irregular bleeding. After a few months, the pill went from treating everything to treating nothing. I was bleeding or spotting for 3 weeks out of the month. My doctor changed my prescription to Microgestin. I stayed on this pill for 5 years with little to no problems until the last few months, where this pill caused me horrible cramps and 2 ovarian cysts. I had a lot of issues with mood swings on Microgestin, so I looked for a lower hormone option. My GYN really wanted me to try an IUD, but I was way too scared after hearing horror stories from family and friends. I have been on Trinessa for a little over a month, and I'm very pleased so far. Besides some nausea in the first week of starting the pack, I've had little to no issues. My period started on time with almost no cramps. I get hungry more often, but have found taking this pill at night helps that."

For Acne "Was prescribed TriNessa for acne and mood swings. Made my acne terrible, worse than ever before, and developed mood swings worse than ever. Didn’t help my severe cramps whatsoever. Didn’t gain weight (I think? I don’t weigh myself). But overall, made acne and mood swings worse."

For Birth Control "I have always had acne on most of my face, but never extremely bad, but this made my skin break out. I read reviews that it did to many girls, but I thought, well, it may be different for my combination skin/acne. I was on it for three months, and that’s when my acne was at its all-time worst, and I didn’t even realize it was the pill. I got off it for a month (didn’t have money lol), then got on Mili, and I’m on my third month. I still haven’t skipped a period as I’m trying, and my mood swings are bad, but light flow, still cramping, my acne looks a lot more clear though."

For Birth Control "When I first started taking TriNessa, my skin began to break out and I began to have mood swings. After close to 2 months, my skin cleared and was clear the remainder of my time taking the pill. I had to stop taking TriNessa because it caused EXTREME depression every time I got my period and made me very, very emotional. I told my doctor, and she told me to stop taking it immediately. Since stopping, my skin is breaking out, I’ve had migraines and moderate cramping."

For Birth Control "I just started TriNessa, but so far it's been good. I used to have really bad nausea before and during my period, really bad cramps, and my period was 7 days long and extra heavy. I started TriNessa the day I started my period, and there was a change right from the start. The moodiness I encountered during my period was gone, my period was lighter, my cramps, albeit the first day they were there, were significantly weaker. The only downside to this is, before I started, I had clear skin, didn't get pimples or zits, nothing, but after I started this, I got a couple pimples. Also, after I take this pill, it leaves an aftertaste in my mouth, and it makes me a tad bit lightheaded right after taking it, and I have to drink some juice."

For Acne "My doctor had switched me to Trinessa (as it was completely covered by my insurance) about 2 years ago. It cleaned up my acne, gave me soft, beautiful skin. Light periods. And my cramps went away. But about 6 months ago, I noticed I was getting pimples at the time of my period. No big deal, because they went away at the end of my period. However, the last couple of months I've had really bad breakouts on my chin, and they are not going away! I guess every good thing comes to an end."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on TriNessa for about a month now. My acne isn’t as bad as it used to be, but it’s made my period awful. My cramps are way, way worse than they have ever been before."

"TriNessa pill is okay. I’ve had a slightly better experience than with others. In the first 30 days, it was cool, didn't kill my libido, no vaginal dryness, no acne. Now I am 10 pounds heavier, that cystic acne is cranking up again, and I am bloated! To the point where I look pregnant. I have also been dealing with some serious leg cramps, shooting pain up and down my leg. I'm going to hold off on taking this for a while."
