"If you want a pill that ruins your life, then take this pill. This pill might be labeled as birth control, but it should also be known as the pill to give you the worst anxiety and depression you could ever experience. I am a happy, successful person who is mentally tough and can get up when knocked down, but not with this pill. This pill is a nightmare when on it and makes you feel like escaping your life (suicidal thoughts). I have never been suicidal in my life until this pill. I felt like I was going crazy and did not feel like myself. I sometimes would feel like myself, and then I would feel like I was going crazy. I went on it to get my periods back and help clear my skin, which it got my period back and sort of cleared acne (only on it for a month). I would rather have the worst acne ever for the rest of my life than be on this pill. This pill makes you paranoid about everything and made me sometimes feel depersonalization. I do not recommend! Save yourself by not taking it! 0 stars"

"Let me start off by saying that everyone reacts to birth control differently. Just because I had a negative experience does not mean you will too. Anyway, my pharmacist randomly switched me to Tri-Lo-Marzia one day after I had been on Tri-Lo-Sprintec for about a year (and was loving it!). Tri-Lo-Marzia is quite honestly the worst birth control I have ever been on. I hardly recognize myself on it. I just finished my first pack, but I have been experiencing the most severe brain fog, anxiety, and depression. I have to force myself to go out and do things, and I have a hard time concentrating when I do. My heart pounds after I walk half a mile, and it is hard to calm myself down. I have almost fainted several times because of the cardiovascular effects this pill has on me. Sure, it clears my acne and keeps my periods short, but this pill has started to make me worry for my permanent mental health. Be very careful with this pill."

"On my second day, I was feeling horrible on this pill, feeling dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and discomfort, gassy, headache to migraines. So horrible! I do not recommend Tri-Lo-Marzia. Never again will I take this pill!"

"This pill ruined my life!! I’ve been taking it for about 7 months, and the first thing I noticed is my appetite was all weird, and I lost an unhealthy amount of weight in a short period of time, which then caused me to start losing my hair. I didn't think too much of it and kept taking it. Then it got worse. The past two months I’ve been experiencing heart palpitations and insomnia. My anxiety and depression were so absolutely horrible that I started contemplating suicide, which is something I never thought I would go through. I’ve always been pretty mentally stable, and this pill completely changed that. I’ve been off it for a week, and I feel 100x better. I do not recommend this birth control one bit. I’m so upset that I didn’t read the reviews before I started it."

"This made my periods 100 times more miserable. It gave me excruciating migraines and terrible cramps. Made my period longer and heavier, and I’ve never had such bad acne until I started taking this. Just don’t."

"I would rate this a 0. The best possible description of how it’ll make you feel, which is scattered around a bunch of reviews, is “like you’ve gone crazy.” I’ve never felt worse than I have while taking this BC. I feel like it ruined my entire life. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and this BC has amplified both. I have panic attacks, manic spells, depressive episodes, and every single day, without fail, I contemplate suicide. I’ve never been this bad in my entire life. I also have indigestion, which, combined with IBS, is a killer. It kills your sex drive, makes you irritated, and bloats you, oh my GOD. 0/10 do not even prescribe to your worst enemy."

"I haven't gotten many side effects from this, other than a loss of libido. I rarely want to have sex with my boyfriend, and when I do I stay dry. I also bled for almost a month and a half when I first started. I do get spotting every so often, which is annoying. I was on Blisovi Fe before and had even more frequent spotting."

"I went on birth control to help clear up my cystic acne and hopefully get me back to having a normal cycle. So far, I still have cystic acne, boils, 10 lb weight gain, hot flashes, I still have a messed up menstrual cycle and it’s been 3 months on it."

"I do not recommend taking this birth control. I’ve been on birth control for two years, and I’ve been on Tri-Lo-Marzia for a few months now. I started with Junel, and I had no side effects, but I had breakthrough bleeding, and my doctor switched me because of it. Tri-Lo-Marzia didn’t seem bad at first. I didn’t have a period my first month of taking it, and since then my period has been all messed up, either just spotting for my period or starting my period during the middle of my pack, still having breakthrough bleeding. My libido is still 0, I’m bloated all the time, I’ve gained weight in my face, and my self-esteem has been affected. I’ve never been depressed or had harmful thoughts before, but I do now. I’m hardly the person I was before I started this pill. I have an appointment to get a copper IUD, but it’s in a few months, and I’m trying to find one sooner so I can stop taking this birth control ASAP."

"I would not wish this birth control on my worst enemy. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I didn’t get pregnant. I have never experienced such intense anxiety in my life, and I am not generally an overly anxious person. My heart would randomly start beating crazy fast or I would get palpitations, and I had racing thoughts and intrusive thoughts. I have never felt so out of control of my thoughts. I genuinely thought I was going crazy. I’ve been off of it for 3 weeks and still don’t feel completely back to myself. Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR."

"I’ve been on Tri-Lo-Marzia for about 5 months now. Before starting the pill, my cycle would skip for a few months, and when I eventually got it, it lasted for about 6-7 days. Immediately after starting it (about a week or 2), I lost 15 pounds and gained it back right after. The longer I take it, the longer my periods last each month-or should I say twice a month. I get my period twice a month now for about 10-14 days and only 6 days between them. It also isn’t a regular “period.” The blood isn’t red, it’s more like a very dark, almost poop brown color. I get spurts of blood every 2 days where it’s bright red, then goes immediately back to the brown. I don’t know if it has cleared my acne at all because I’ve been using topical medication at the same time as taking this pill. I’ve also had headaches for weeks straight, even after taking Advil, it doesn’t lessen. The only plus I can think of is that my hair is growing faster maybe?"
