For Birth Control "I noticed mild mood swings, but you just have to realize it’s the birth control and not your head! Also, I’m very, very hungry on the pill, but limit yourself to 3 meals a day, like before, and you should be fine! I have not noticed any weight gain or acne differences! Also, this pill has helped with my periods a lot! Rather than them being 2 weeks long, they’re only 2 days long! I’m not sure if it’s related to the pill or working out more frequently recently, but I’ve noticed my boobs have become larger!"

For Birth Control "I had been taking Taytulla for over a year and was doing okay on it. Then I was switched to the generic version, Gremmily. I have been taking it for about 3 months. I have never been so miserable. I have had horrible migraines, cystic acne on my chin, bloating, no sex drive, and the worst mood swings. I stopped taking it because I was barely able to get up in the morning without an awful migraine."

For Birth Control "I was previously on Orsythia, which I took for about four months, but I continued to have a lot of breakthrough bleeding. My doctor prescribed to me Taytulla, which I have been on for three months. My mood swings have been pretty up and down, I have become very angry about small things (which I never had before). My period is not as long as before because of the four inactive pills, which is the only good part I have had with this pill. Since taking Taytulla, I have gained so much weight! I have been keeping the same diet and have been working out the same as I have always had, but I have gained about 10 pounds while taking this drug. I am now switching to another pill because this one has not been working for me."

For Birth Control "I have been on Taytulla for about 3 1/2 years now, and I have not had any side effects other than my period going away and my breasts being a little tender. I was on the brand name for 1-2 years, and then insurance switched me to generic. I had normal to light periods before taking this, but now it is gone completely, which is awesome. Having no period for this long freaked me out a little, but my doctor said it is normal, and I am a healthy 20-year-old. This is the first BC I have been on, and I have 0 complaints. I have not noticed any weight gain or mood changes over these past few years, and I have gotten used to not having a period! Also, not preggo, which is nice! I went on Accutane and noticed light spotting for a day or two each month, but recently got off and haven't had a period since. Every birth control affects people in different ways, so I would keep an open mind! This has been life changing for me."

For Birth Control "I absolutely hate Taytulla. I read the reviews after just barely starting the pill, which all said it messes with your mental state, but I thought I’m self-assured and confident, so it won’t affect me. But I was wrong, and into my 4th week of the pill, the mood swings almost ruined my relationship. It gave me vaginal irritation, which I'm still not even sure if it’s a yeast infection or not. It made me spot for a week straight in my 2nd week. The mood swings and the emotional side of this make Taytulla not worth it. I would definitely not recommend. I felt crazy on this pill and have almost decided to stop birth control pills altogether if they all alter my mental stability like Taytulla did. I’m getting off it as soon as I finish this pill package."

For Birth Control "Worst birth control I’ve ever been on, and that says a lot considering the Depo shot completely screwed up my hormones. I started Taytulla to regulate my periods, and my entire body is broken out in hives. Not to mention the stupid mood swings and depression."

For Birth Control "I've been on Taytulla for about 10 months, and I've been enjoying it! The main thing that I've noticed is gradual weight loss, not complaining at all. Overall, I've been positive and much more confident in myself. A negative is if I am late taking the pill, I will get major cramps, but that might be an every pill thing. Another thing is my mood does change, not often, but I notice it on occasion. It has not affected my work and stress level while I'm in school, but my libido has been low. This is my first time taking birth control, so I'm not sure what is related to the pill and what isn't, but for it being my first time, I'd say I lucked out compared to a lot of the reviews."

For Birth Control "This is the fourth birth control I’ve been on, and I do not recommend this to anyone. While taking this BC, I started to get extremely bloated, nauseous, had constant migraines, and I was extremely emotional about everything. I also caught myself slipping into a depression, I had high anxiety and lacked all motivation. I have zero history of depression and anxiety, so I really didn’t know how this felt. I have naturally low blood pressure, and I would wake up or go throughout the day, and my blood pressure would skyrocket. I truly have nothing positive to say about this BC. Look into other BCs if you’re going to get onto one or onto a new one."

For Birth Control "I started taking this pill in Jan. of 2020, I was 18. I stopped taking it in Sept. of 2021. It was my first birth control ever, so I overlooked my symptoms a lot. My doctor prescribed Taytulla to help get rid of my ovarian cyst, but I decided to keep taking it after it was gone. I gained over 40 lbs in the last year of using it (while working out 5/6 days a week and being underweight my whole life)! My anxiety was the worst, I would have anxiety attacks at work and had to leave early multiple times because I’d pass out. Around the same time, I started having suicidal thoughts. My mood swings were a nightmare for everyone around me, I constantly felt bad. I'd cry all the time and anywhere, it was embarrassing and only made anxiety worse. After stopping, I’ve felt happier, no intense crying, I’ve even lost some weight. My periods are irregular again, so I started a new pill. Hope it works better than this one. Good luck to anyone taking Taytulla, I hope you have a better experience."

For Birth Control "I love this birth control. I’m almost done with my first pack, and I’m loving it! I was worried about weight gain, mood swings, acne, etc. But truthfully, it’s been great! I do realize that my appetite has been through the roof. I’m always so hungry, kind of bad, but self-control, you know. Also, I did notice some small pimples on my face, but it’s only because I’m close to my cycle. But overall, it’s pretty amazing!"

For Birth Control "I was put on Taytulla in order for my menstrual cycle to shorten and mainly for my cramps to get better. My cramps got so bad, to the point I had to miss school every cycle for the first 2-3 days. My cycles would also last 8-10 days. The first two months I was on Taytulla, my cramps got even worse, but my cycle was only 5 days. For me, it just wasn’t worth it. I would also have terrible mood swings and depression. I hope others will have a better experience with the brand and not suffer like I did."

For Birth Control "This medicine makes me feel horrible. I get horrible depression and anxiety, sometimes I cry for no reason. Mood swings are horrible and are affecting my relationship. I don’t want to do anything other than be in bed and cry. Cramps are horrible, I get really bad migraines and loss of appetite. For me, it's been the worst experience ever. I gained some weight, I just feel worthless."

For Birth Control "So I've been taking Taytulla for about 3 months. I started noticing significant changes in my moods. I was overly emotional. Everything made me cry, and I'm not a super emotional person. I pretty much spotted during the entire duration of taking the pill. Needless to say, I switched birth controls."

For Birth Control "Before I was on the Nexplanon implantation birth control for 8 months and honestly say that was the worst. I gained so much weight (over 20 lbs), mood swings and depression, and don't get me started on my pimples on my chin! After I got the guts to get it out of me, I told my doctor all my symptoms, and she recommended Taytulla, and so far, so good! I’m happier, and I haven’t had a period yet, and my skin is looking good. The only downside I gotta say is I feel a little nauseous every time I eat. But hopefully this birth control keeps up the good results, I might stick to it since it’s only been 2 weeks using this method!"

For Birth Control "I'm 19 and was on Taytulla for about 6 months. I've already switched pills 3 times and decided to wait this one out and see if the side effects would get better, and they didn't. The weight gain wasn't horrible, but my mood swings were ruining relationships with those around me. The number one reason why I hated this pill was the amount of acne it caused. I've always had a few zits here and there and some cystic on my chin. I broke out on my cheeks and forehead, and the scars are irreversible now. I didn't want to leave my house without makeup on. Don't recommend this to ANYONE."

For Birth Control "I've been on the same BC for 4 years. I had breakthrough bleeding, and my doctor switched me to Taytulla. She gave me a 3-month supply. I'm pretty sure doctors are being paid to give out samples. Went to the pharmacy to get the prescription, and it's $500 a month. Forget that! So I'm trying the 3 samples to see if I like it enough to get the generic. I've only done a month, and I've had bad mood swings, bad headaches, bad body acne I've never had before, super tender breasts, and vaginal discharge every day. I know when you start BC, you get symptoms, but I didn't expect this from going from one BC to another. I'll take a pregnancy test in a week to make sure I'm not pregnant and give it another month to see if any of this goes away. But so far, DO NOT take Taytulla."

For Birth Control "I'm new to birth control (never took any besides now). I have been on this BC for about 2 weeks and 1 day! And I feel horrible! My mood swings are out of control, my breasts are super sore. I feel so sick after taking this pill. I’ve been super depressed and sad since the first week but didn’t pay too much mind because I thought it was my period. After reading the reviews on this, I figured I wasn’t going crazy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this BC to anyone, more so new starters."

For Birth Control "Doc prescribed Taytulla to help regulate my premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). After being on medicine for 11 days, after having very regular periods for years and only spotting 2-3 times in my entire life. I had breakthrough bleeding after having my period a week and a half before. I had PMS food cravings, headache, cramps, and mood swings with uncontrollable crying that were off the charts and worse than my 'normal PMS' symptoms. In addition to the very depressing erratic mood swings, it exacerbated nerve issues in my spine, created burning down my legs, extreme back pain, which had been under control and feeling great for months, until I began taking medicine. This medicine is awful. Do not take if you have any form of mild depression. It also turned my urine brown. Lovely."
