For Birth Control "On a sample from the doctor. Day one: took the pill at 1 pm. Nausea within 4-5 hours. Weird temple headaches off and on. Day 2: irritable mood upon waking up. Experienced unusual muscle weakness at the gym at 5:30 pm - came home, ate. Slightly nauseous. Day 3: irritable and nauseous with temple headaches. Day 4: woke up. Not as irritable but had sharp pains in my eyes while wearing contacts. After taking the pill at 1 pm, became very sick around 6 pm. Bloated stomach pain but able to the eye and very nauseous. Weird pain in my jaw followed by extreme nausea. When I vomited slightly, I forced myself to vomit more when the nausea became too uncomfortable. Nauseous half the night until I finally fell asleep."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Minastrin for 4 months now, and it is having total opposite effects on me than what my doctor said it would. It's supposed to shorten periods, but it actually made mine longer! And it's supposed to help reduce cramping, but it actually worsened my cramps. I also have more mood swings and nausea. I guess I just turned out to be that small percent of the statistic that it doesn't work for."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control contraceptive for five months. Some may say you should wait several months to fully review, but I am currently dealing with cystic acne, that of which I have never ever had before. And the funny thing is, I'm also on an acne medication, and it still won't fix anything (been on it for three and a half months). It has not helped my cramps, makes me nauseous, and I have developed heavy depression from time to time with no reason to. I'm gonna get off of it as soon as possible, but whenever I take the placebo pills is when I get insane acne. Gonna have to make sure I use a very strong acne medication when I do get off of it since my hormones are so out of balance."

For Birth Control "This drug made me so nauseous for over a year! My quality of life suffered greatly, as did my family’s and our wallet. Hundreds of dollars wasted at a GI specialist trying to determine what was making me so sick. Three days after stopping Minastrin, I started feeling so much better."

For Birth Control "I'm 18 years old, and of course, birth control is always a plus for anyone who is sexually active, especially teenagers. I always use condoms no matter what, so I'm usually protected. I was put on this pill in March of 2016, and I was a Sunday starter. Usually, when I get my period, I get heavy bleeding, severe cramps, nausea, I throw up, dizziness, back pains, every symptom in the book, I get it at the worst level. So I tried this pill, it's stopped the puking and nausea. I still get very tired, but the cramps aren't as bad as they were. BUT my mood swings are horrible all the time, and I find myself bleeding heavily at random times of the month all the time... wouldn't recommend."

For Birth Control "I've been on Minastrin since December 2014, and it has been amazing. I used to call in sick at the beginning of my periods throughout most of high school. They would last for at least 7 days and were extremely heavy-to the point where I'd use two super tampons an hour for the majority of the week. I'd spend my days in bed, curled up in the fetal position, taking 600-800 mg of ibuprofen with no help. I got on Minastrin, and it helped so much. Side effects-I felt sick to my stomach the first week when my body adjusted to the pill, and I'm bloated most of the time. But I haven't had a period since I've started the pill, and I've only spotted (so lightly) only once. My mood swings have decreased drastically since being on Minastrin."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for about 3 months. I've suffered from depression and anxiety since high school, but some days it seemed unbearable to the point I've gotten nauseous, and it was never that bad. Period lasts about 4 days, 2 of these days seemed heavy. Even after my period, I experienced cramping still, more on one side than the other. I'm debating whether or not to just stop taking it altogether. I don't feel like myself, and I feel short-tempered a lot of days, and I hate that feeling. I'd rather be on nothing at all and just be happier. Skin is not 100% clear, but off birth control it does seem to be worse."

For Birth Control "I first tried Lo Loestrin Fe, and it made me feel crazy. I switched to a triphasic birth control and tried Trinessa and Tri-Sprintec but had an even worse experience. I was unbelievably nauseous when I first started and threw up several times. Every first week of each month, I was dizzy and felt like I was in a fog, and the rest of the weeks I was so nauseous that I couldn't eat, go to the gym, or do anything. I switched to Minastrin, and it was such a lifesaver. I didn't experience any nausea at all, I never felt dizzy, and I felt very emotionally stable. The only downside of this birth control is that I bled for 2 weeks if I took the pill 30 minutes late, and I started getting ridiculously hungry after a few months and was gaining weight."

For Birth Control "I've been on this BC for 4 months. I've experienced weight gain, nausea, and bloating, but my cycles are light and only last 2 - 4 days."
