For Birth Control "I was really scared to start this pill, Larin Fe 1.5/30, due to all of the bad reviews, but it is the best pill I have ever been on. It helps with my cramps, regulates, and shortens my period. I had zero sex drive before this, but now would say it is pretty average. No weight gain and only a pimple or two the week before my period. The only negative thing was my anxiety. It has been up since I started this pill. I can't say it is fully to blame, but it might be."

For Birth Control "I will start that I do NOT do well with birth controls. I have tried everything under the sun and have had issues with them all. This has been the best one yet, but that doesn't mean I haven't had issues. The issues have just been a lot less than others. I switched from the patch, which was just all around a nuisance and I hated it. I've loved being on this pill, but about 4 months in, I started bleeding, and not just spotting, full-fledged period, clots, headaches, cramps, acne, and I bled for a month. I DO NOT LIKE THAT. I take BC so I don't have a menstrual. I always skip the placebo. I searched and searched for answers and found nothing, until FINALLY I found one single thread on a forum where somebody said they had the same thing happen and it would happen randomly and it was almost the body's way of forcing you to shed the lining of your uterus, and all she had to do was take the placebo pills for 7 days and then go back to the regular pills and she would stop bleeding. IT WORKED!"

For Birth Control "Larin Fe 1.5/30 has been my second experience on birth control, after I had a terrible 9-month long experience with the depo shot. I have been on this pill for about 3 years now, and I haven't had a single problem with it. I usually skip my period if I can, so I love that the pill gives you the option. It cleared up my acne for the most part; I still get a few spots here and there, but I'm not blaming the pill. I don't see any negative effects on my weight or appetite. I love this pill; I've never had a problem with it, and even when I have been inconsistent and possibly a little irresponsible, I still haven't gotten pregnant, so that's why I love this pill. However, since I am really bad at remembering to take it on time, I'm considering switching to an IUD."

"I was given Larin Fe 1.5/30 when my pharmacy stopped carrying Junel Fe 1.5/30. Within 3 months of taking it, my mouth and chin area was covered in acne, I had horrible heartburn and random depressive episodes. I have been on various brands of BC for 15 years and never experienced such horrible side effects. Please stay away from Larin!"

"My daughter has very heavy periods. Horrible cramps and moods that swing into depression. She also has epilepsy. Her doctor recommended this to try to slow her periods. The first month, it worked great. Her moods were better, and her bleeding was so much better. The second month, it is horrific. She has had random nosebleeds, worsening allergies, and mood swings so severe it has been like PMS on steroids. She has severe acne so bad she was placed on antibiotics. She has been craving red meat like water. She doesn't usually eat red meat. She is extremely irritable and has had cramps. But no period at all this month. The doctor told me to throw it away and that she needs to increase her vitamin D."
