For Birth Control "Honestly, I never write reviews, but I have been on this birth control for 3 months, and I just requested to switch. My first period was pretty bad, and my second was so light I was worried it didn't even count as a period. My inconsistent periods are not what bugged me, though. My mood swings have been insane, and everyone pointed it out to me after I have been saying I feel depressed, spent a lot of time sleeping and in my room. I'm usually a positive person with a positive outlook on situations, but I have felt myself become more negative and miserable. I have been on other birth controls before and have had no problems. I fully believe different birth controls affect people different ways, so it may work for you! This has just been my experience."

For Birth Control "I'm so all over the place with this birth control. I'm 19 years old, and currently started on my 2nd month. During the first month, I had severe mood swings with extreme bouts of depression and rage. To the point, if someone accidentally bumped into me at the store, I wanted to engage in a physical altercation. My acne was also increasingly horrible for about a week. However, now my mood has stabilized (except I'm still susceptible to depression easily), as well as my acne. BUT I HAVE STARTED LACTATING! Yes, lactating. I have had breast tenderness throughout being on the pill, but yesterday I actually started noticing milk out of one of my breasts so far. I'm so concerned. This is not something I was warned about... I'm not sure what to do."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I had been on a different form of bc for several years, but apparently it was not as effective as I got older. My GYN prescribed Gildess to me and suggested I try it for a few months to see if the condition improved. I was on Gildess for a total of 5 months. I kept in mind that you must allow time (3 mos) for your body to adjust, so although I experienced side effects from the start, I gave it a shot. I experienced uncontrollable mood swings and felt depressed and tired all the time! The worst side effects, though, were the extreme headaches I experienced while taking this medication. I know everyone is different, but as for me... I would never recommend this pill to anyone."

For Birth Control "Had to quit taking this BC. Horrible mood swings, huge painful breasts and nipples, yeast infection nonstop, low libido, UTI, can't sleep, headaches, gained 10 lbs. just awful."

For Birth Control "I gained about 20 pounds in 3 months. I'm more moody, also, and have worse cramps than before. I am also having my period two times a month, so it's time to switch back to my last one!"

For Birth Control "I was taking Gildess (birth control) for about 1 year because I have really bad periods, up to the point where I would just want to call my bed my permanent home. My periods make me bleed HEAVY, and I would puke and cry and faint/pass out and just want to scream because the slightest movement made me want to cry. So my doctor thought that this would do me good, and it did until the side effects came in. I couldn't have anything with red sauce in spaghetti, and I can't have coffee. Also, it made me an emotional wreck. I would cry watching TV shows and someone dying. It helped me get out of bed because of my periods, but then it turned me into a crybaby that ended up going back into bed."
