For Birth Control "The pills stopped my period, caused mood swings, vaginal dryness, and killed my sex drive. My husband thought I was not attracted to him anymore. I stopped using it after the 2 months, and our sex was fine again. So was my period."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for 5 months now, and it was the worst mistake of my life. I never understood why I had this angry feeling inside of me all the time, and anything my boyfriend said or did made me irritated, and I would lash out at him all the time. I couldn't control my mood swings, and I would get really emotional here and there. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but after realizing it, it was the birth control that was changing my mood. The pills have also stopped my period, and I would freak out every month because I would miss my period. People told me to wait 3 months before I got on track, but it did not happen. I wish I did not start off with this birth control."

For Birth Control "I switched to this after 10 years on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Was really nervous about the switch because I tried something different about 5 years in on the Ortho and had a nasty emotional reaction to it. So far, I'm a month in on Gildess, and overall it's been a positive experience. My period was right on time and 4 days shorter than it used to be, less breakthrough bleeding than on Ortho, and my sex drive, which had taken a dive in recent years, seems to be returning. The only negative side effect so far has been that I've been a little bit cranky, however, I'm not sure if I can actually attribute that to the birth control or just being unhappy with my job."

For Birth Control "This is my first birth control ever. I am 18 years old, 116 lbs and am on my third week. It made my vagina really dry. Gave me emotional mood swings. I am also upset with my boyfriend and feeling angry. I have no sexual drive. I am definitely going to try another pill."

For Birth Control "I was questioning taking this birth control after reading all the reviews. I'm going onto my 3rd month. The first month, my period lasted about 2 weeks, but after that, the monthly cycles were super light, only 3 days, and always on time. Everyone's body is different. I didn't experience any low sex drive, spotting, or mood changes. I did notice a slight weight gain, but overall, I'm pleased with the birth control."

For Birth Control "This has to be the worst birth control I have ever taken. I have never experienced so many side effects on any medication. This pill makes me so nauseous that I wake up out of my sleep!!!! My acne is usually controlled, but not on this! Gildess has wrecked havoc on my entire body. I get breakouts on my chest (ew, gross, I know), and I have gained so much weight on it. I'm talking about like 20 lbs., and let's not even mention how emotional I am. I cry about EVERYTHING. The only plus side to this was the huge cup size increase: 34B to 34D. If I hadn't already been to my gyn, I'd think I was pregnant. Nope, it's just this damn birth control. Oh, and my GYN says my blood pressure is also elevated. You are better off being pregnant!"

For Birth Control "This is the only birth control since the depo that I have found that works for me. I get terrible cramps, mood swings, tender breasts, and acne when I'm not on BC or on any other BC. After the first month on Gildess, after my body was used to it, I had ZERO PMS side effects!! I am so happy I finally found something that takes away those terrible debilitating cramps!! I have had absolutely NO issues with this BC!! So grateful to have found this..."

For Birth Control "I am a 22-year-old African American female. I have been using Gildess as a substitute for Tarina, and I have not experienced any adverse effects. My periods used to be quite heavy and last around 5-6 days. I used to completely soak overnight pads and had to change frequently. Now, my periods are so light! They only last about 4 days, and I find myself only needing to wear a couple of regular tampons throughout the day. It's great! My skin is clear, I have not had any breakouts, and I experience no mood swings. The ONLY problem is-my sex drive is extremely low at times. So that sucks. :/ But for me, the goods outweigh the bads. Gildess is successful at preventing pregnancy."

For Birth Control "I've been on Gildess Fe 1/20 for about 4 months now, and at first, it was great! Slowly, I started to see changes in my behavior and body... I started getting irritated more and easier, I started getting a lot more emotional than normal, and I started gaining weight, resulting in me getting depressed about my body. I spot in the middle of my cycle about a week before my period starts, and I thought this was just my body getting used to it, but it's become clockwork. I have nothing but nightmare stories with birth control, so I'm starting to feel like it's not for me."

For Birth Control "This is the worst birth control I have ever been on! I am 31 years old and recently had the Nexplanon removed. BIG MISTAKE!!! I never write reviews, but this birth control is the DEVIL!! While on the Nexplanon, I never had cramps, bloating, breast tenderness, or horrible mood swings. Gildess, I have all these symptoms plus paranoia and depression. I have been taking these pills for a month and a half and never have felt more insecure in my life. The weight gain is an issue as well, I gained 12 pounds within the 1st month. I realized that this birth control was making me feel crazy, anxious, and not myself, so I made an appointment for my OBGYN for a better option. I can't wait to throw these pills down the drain. Hope this is helpful."

For Birth Control "I took Gildess 1/20 for a full year. Everything started out fine, but around the 7-8 month mark, my periods started coming in all over the place and my skin broke out like I was in middle school. I either had two periods a month or none at all. I didn't notice any weight gain, but did experience occasional mood swings. Overall, it prevented pregnancy, but did not give me a regular cycle."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for almost 2 years now. I don't get a regular period. I get one every few months, and it's still just spotting, which can get scary. I do get very emotional once a month, though, worse than I ever have before, and during that time, I'm not really hungry and have constant migraines."

For Birth Control "After reading these reviews, I finally understand all the symptoms I've experienced over the past year and a half. I've had chronic yeast infections and dryness, mood swings to where I am nowhere near myself, and I am beginning to get random/extra periods while in the middle of my packet. My gynecologist has never suggested the link between BC and my symptoms, but I am definitely calling the office tomorrow and switching my birth control immediately."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 2 years now, and it gets worse and worse each month. I have experienced horrible nausea, headaches, mood swings, and depression. I constantly have bleeding throughout the month, and my period never comes when I'm supposed to have it. It is almost as irregular and heavy as it was when I didn't take the pill. I get extremely bad cramps and bloating as well. Currently in the process of trying to switch to a new pill. Very angry."

For Birth Control "I'm on the first month of this pill and have had NO bleeding but all the cramping and gas. The symptoms only affect my mood so far, no nausea. The mood swings are bad enough, and since there is no bleeding, I was super paranoid I had somehow gotten pregnant, so I took a test and it came up negative twice. I have also gotten some kind of yeast or bacterial infection... lovely. I'm not sure when I will get my period, but so far it has been working okay."

For Birth Control "Does a good job at preventing pregnancy... But! Gained a little weight and I cry every single day! Makes me so emotional. Was on for 4 months, decided I needed a new one. Also gave me some cramps and breast tenderness the first month."

For Birth Control "So the pro is, it's prevented pregnancy and made me go up a cup size. Oh, and my acne has cleared up. Cons: the first month went well. I'm on month 3 of taking it, and let me tell you... I've been bleeding/spotting for about 34 days now. It's annoying. And when I start spotting heavily, I get severe cramping. It's interfered with my sex life and moods. I do get mood swings, but I'm thinking it's because I am so tired of bleeding. I've gained about 5 pounds, which isn't too bad for switching birth control."

For Birth Control "Gildess is my first ever birth control pill. Pro: didn't get pregnant. Cons: 1. I've been getting my period every 1.5-2 weeks! And when I'm not on my period, I get bad yeast infections, regardless of me taking probiotics to prevent that from happening. I have no sex life because of that (how ironic). I've been very emotional to the point of not recognizing my own behavior. My skin became very sensitive, I'm always getting rashes and irritations. It's been 2 months, I'm waiting one more miserable month and then will try to switch."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control at a local health clinic. I've been on it for 2 weeks. I've been on birth control since I was 20. I'm currently 24, and this is my first time using this kind. I am not one to write reviews for anything! I feel like I really had to share my experience with this particular issue. How do I say it sucks kindly? Ever since I used this birth control, I've been so emotional. I'm not normally an emotional person. This birth control makes me so needy and sad. My boyfriend even told me he thinks something weird is going on with me. I went back to the health clinic to see if I could get a different kind. They said starting a new birth control will affect me in some sort of way and that I should wait it out for 3 months."

For Birth Control "This is my 6th month on Gildess (my first form of birth control taken). I'm really confused with how my body is reacting to it. It made my vagina weirdly dry, mood swings were present before but were somehow amplified, and I bleed even when I'm not on my period (not just spotting, like a solid week before my period week). I'm trying out Gildess Fe 1.5/30 to see if it was a dosage problem, but it might be the brand itself. Wish me luck, and good luck to all who try it!"

For Birth Control "I started taking this for birth control. I have been on it for 1.5 months, and I have no issues with it now. The first couple of weeks were rough as far as mood swings/over-emotional responses to things. I was also slightly nauseous at times for the first week, but nothing unbearable or that would make me stop taking it. I still got a little emotional starting back up after my placebo week, but not as bad, and it went away after a couple of days. My period was much lighter than usual, which was very nice. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience, and my side effects were what I expected for starting any birth control. No major issues, I'm pretty happy with it so far."

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control 4 months ago. I immediately developed acne all over my face, gained 20 pounds over the course of 2 months, suffered from debilitating cramps, and experienced intense mood swings. I do not recommend this birth control for anyone who is estrogen dominant."

For Birth Control "I am 21. This is my first BC, so I really have nothing to compare with. Reading all the reviews - that's the only comparison I can make. I love it. No cramps, light to none period. 3 days max... Mood swings is only 1 day before the period, but I think I even had those before BC, lol. That's it :)"

For Birth Control "I've been on the pill for more than two months, and all I can do is complain about it. I started taking it to regulate my periods, but all it's done is make me have no periods at all- which doesn't help much either. It made me break out so much, and I'm always moody and angry, as if I'm PMSing all the time. Not to mention, I get all the lousy pre-period symptoms, such as backaches and cramps, but no bleeding."
