For Endometriosis "I am in my third month of taking this, and absolutely love it. The first two weeks I had headaches and slight nausea, so I switched to taking it at night. So if you try this, don't give up, it went away for me. I don't have mood swings, which I did before taking it. I don't feel like I get bloated either. I've had some slight bleeding at the end of my second month, but the doctor said that was normal, that my body has to get used to the pill. Love the fact I don't have heavy periods anymore. I would recommend it. Looking forward to not having a period every month. My mood is stable, and I feel happy. As far as acne goes, I can say it's not giving me any problems."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Have had a period with cramps since Sept 2019. Started Seasonique to try to get rid of my abnormal bleeding. I had heavy periods, migraines, nausea, and cramps prior to starting, and weeks of spotting. Now I'm on my 46th pill of Seasonique and am STILL experiencing moderate bleeding, must wear tampons or pads daily since Sept, and I have nausea, upset bowels, and horrible cramps. Sometimes I can't even stand up. My doctor said to keep taking it and finish the pack and it will get better. WILL IT? I have not stopped bleeding for months, and it's so difficult to explain to a spouse why I feel sick and am STILL also bleeding."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Where do I start? First pack was great. No spotting until the very end of the second month, then full-blown period during the middle of the third month of my first pack (three months of pills per pack, just to clarify). So, I thought I should go ahead and start my second three-month pack and treat it like I'm having my period even though it technically was too early. Well, I haven't stopped bleeding for about a month now, and the bleeding has gotten worse, passing huge clots and all of the lovely things that go along with that. Called my doctor, and she said to stop and start taking a monophasic BC pill, and that should stop the bleeding and get my uterus back to normal. Hoping this will work and won't have an eternal period!"

For Birth Control "I've been on the Seasonique birth control for 2.5 months. It's been terrible. I started spotting within the first month, which wasn't a big deal. It went away. But then it became more frequent, and anytime I'd get stressed, I'd get a period for 5-6 days. If you miss a pill by an hour, you get your period. I have now been bleeding every day for the past 3 weeks. I had to buy reusable/washable panty liners because I've destroyed most of my underwear. This past week, I got super stressed, and I've been bleeding extremely heavily. Not just bleeding, but passing massive clots. I'm terrified. I just decided to stop taking this pill and stopped halfway through the 3rd pack. 4 periods a year? Misnomer. This is having your period every day."

For Birth Control "I have been using Seasonique for a little over a year now. The first month and a half on Seasonique is great, but then the spotting starts. For the past 2 1/2 weeks on the last pack, I have been bleeding. It has given me acne and very painful cramps. I am switching to another birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this pill 8 years ago. It was awesome. Light periods that lasted only a few days! Recently, on the third month, spotting started. I figured the period was coming early because of stress. About 3 weeks later, I’m having the heaviest period I’ve had in YEARS! Painful cramps, clots, and just so much bleeding! I am miserable!"

For Endometriosis "When I was 22, I found out I had endometriosis, and my doctor recommended this to regulate my periods. I was giving samples since I didn't have any insurance. I took it for two years until they no longer had any more samples, and I still didn't have any insurance and was unable to pay for it. I absolutely loved being on this. It was so nice having a period that only lasted three days and only four periods a year. Yes, when you first start taking it, you do have some breakthrough bleeding, which is annoying, but stick with it because once you're over that, it is great. Now I'm back on it, and my periods last a max of two days. I love it and so much less pain from endometriosis."

For Endometriosis "I've been on this pill for about 3 or 4 years. Up until about 6 months ago, this pill was a blessing. I have been on everything else (Depo, a laundry list of other pills), and nothing worked as well as Seasonique. A few months ago, I gained about 30 pounds out of nowhere, and I lost about 20 pounds with a lot of hard work, but no matter what I do, I can't get under 130. I have severe headaches, and recently I've been bleeding through and not just spotting, like full-on period. On top of that, I was cramping severely and having stomach problems. My husband and I just decided to quit the pill and see what happens, and let me tell you I feel much better. I would say yes to this pill except for the side effects I started having."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Started spotting 3rd week starting Seasonique generic Camrese. Bleeding was very minimal, spotting the first week. But I am now on my 9th day and started passing clots. My periods before starting Seasonique were at most 5-6 days long. I've never in my life experienced bleeding for so long. I started this BC in hopes of not having so many periods, and since I was very irregular, I wanted to control it. The only thing so far I've experienced is more bleeding! I'm getting married in 3 months. What am I supposed to do if this bleeding doesn't stop?! Does anyone have suggestions? Otherwise, I'm thinking of just stopping altogether."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I say do not buy this birth control. I started taking this to control my abnormal periods. After the first month being fine, I started to bleed in the middle of the pack. This was around July... It is now September, and I am still currently bleeding. I will never use this product again, save yourself the money and trouble."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My GP recommended Seasonique because I was anemic and experiencing very heavy blood flow each month. In the year that I took this medication, I felt depressed and even suicidal at the beginning; gained weight as expected and had a hard time losing weight while on it. At the end of the first 3 months, the flow was heavy for 8 days! I kept with it in spite of menstrual cramps, higher appetite, heavy bleeding when I had my period, and really annoying mood swings. After one year, I decided to stop because it's easier to take iron supplements than take this pill. With 2 children and at peri-menopause age, I wouldn't recommend this product to any woman at any stage of life. Too unpredictable and not worth the unseen side effects."

For Endometriosis "For the first 2 months of taking it, I didn't stop bleeding, gained 10 lb (I've been 125 lbs for the past 10 years), got zits! (Maybe had 5 zits in my whole life), then started this pill and I'm a bloated, bloody, zitty beast! I threw the pills in the trash today. Enough is enough! Horrible medication."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Hate this birth control. Just finished the first pack. I’m on my 6th week of bleeding, and now that I’m on the placebos, I’m having the heaviest period I’ve had in years. I’m at my wits' end. Want to rip my hair out. Can’t stand this birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Start taking the medication to stop it. But it never did. I've been on the pill for 2 weeks now, and it seems like I'm bleeding more than when I was not on the pill, having huge blood clots and bleeding uncontrollably. Calling the doctor in the morning to see what I can do."

For Birth Control "I've been on this BC for a little over a year now. The first few packs were awesome! No mood swings, no breakthrough bleeding, period always on time, smooth sailing. My last two packs have been a nightmare. I'm moody, I'm getting breakthrough bleeding often, and it actually scares me because I always think something is wrong if I'm bleeding and it's not time for my period. My period was over a week late on my last pack. My period isn't due to come for another 3 weeks now, but I'm currently bleeding. Not happy. Will definitely be seeing my doctor about a new pill. Maybe my body has decided it's not strong enough anymore."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonique for 6 months, and for the first three months, it worked as it was supposed to, despite some spotting. Now, however, I have an appointment to change it, as for the last 40 days I have had a non-stop period. Not simply spotting, but continuous bleeding. This is not the birth control for me."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Love this! I have been on this pill for years now, and it is amazing. I used to have heavy bleeding and horrible cramps, and this pill has stopped it for me. Due to being anemic and having endometriosis, I am set to have my period every 6 months, and I never spot in between. This pill is definitely for people whose body can handle going long-term without a menstrual period. And you have to follow directions, taking the pill at the same exact time every day and never missing a pill. It's the only way it will work properly."

For Endometriosis "My doctor prescribed this birth control to help ease the side effects of endometriosis. She leaned towards this one because Seasonique should mean fewer periods and fewer periods should mean less endometriosis pain. This medication was a total failure for me. I know different people have different reactions to medications, but my experience was not a positive one. I bled off and on very frequently and cramped. I had very bad headaches at times (unusual for me). I was extremely emotional and moody (also unusual for me) and stayed bloated a good majority of the time. I was on it for four and a half months and could not take it anymore. Also, very pricey."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have fibroids that cause very heavy and painful periods. I was prescribed this medication after declining Depo-Lupron (the shot). Things started out fine the first few weeks, but then I started spotting (which I was told was normal), but then spotting turned into a period. I'm now on the 3rd pack and will have to finish it at the request of my doctor, and not a day has gone by that I haven't bled. This pill did not work for me."

For Birth Control "Started this thinking it would be a great fit for me. I am 23 years old, just had a baby 6 weeks before. I had stopped the bleeding after having a baby, so I started taking the birth control. After a few days, I noticed right away that my anxiety got really bad. I had ZERO patience for anything, which was taking a toll on my family (this is not due to the new baby). I didn't want to be around anyone, everything annoyed me. I am normally a very laid-back, easygoing person, so this was abnormal. The panic attacks would get so horrible I would curl up in a ball and cry. My sex drive was normal, but wasn't there because all I would do was bleed heavily. I have been bleeding heavily for 3 weeks now. Stopped the pack after 2 weeks."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm 38 years old and perimenopausal. I started this pill to regulate my horrific bleeding and cramping. The first two months were awesome, but since that time I have been bleeding for six weeks straight. My doctor advised that I skip the sugar pills and try a couple more weeks of the second pack and see if my cycle regulates. Into the second week of the second pack and I'm still currently bleeding and cramping and am stopping this medication today. Also, I gained 10 pounds, feel 'blue,' randomly cry for no reason, and have had extreme mood swings. I would not recommend Seasonique or any generic equivalent of this drug. My next step is an ablation procedure. : ("

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this medicine in December, got sick and forgot a pill. I got my period, it lasted 15 days, and I wasn't supposed to have it yet. Then my doctor changed me to a different one. I started taking that one, and within a few days, I started bleeding again. It would be a great thing to only have a period every 3 months, but the side effects for me made it worse."

For Endometriosis "I have been taking Seasonique for 2 months to stop the continual cramping from endometriosis and the heavy period. The first month and a half, I didn't have a period, but I have been bleeding for 2 weeks straight, this is my 15th day of bleeding and horrible cramping. I did have energy at first, and that was nice, along with the almost non-existent cramping until I started bleeding. I had sex last night, and it hurt. I have also experienced hot flashes (the doctor said that this isn't because of this birth control), and I am 36. I have had heart palpitations, weight gain, anxiety, and major mood swings at times."

For Birth Control "I have been on Seasonique for almost three years and have not had any issues! I love only having my period 4 times a year. Additionally, I don’t experience heavy bleeding when I do get my period, and my usual symptoms are so much less intense. Initially, I did bleed for almost two weeks when I started the pack, which was not fun, but since my body regulated to it, it has been great!"

For Birth Control "An incredible birth control. Do not be turned off by people saying they bled or spotted for weeks or months - this is only because it must be started at a specific point in your cycle. It stopped my period for three months without any spotting until it was finally due. My only complaint is that the bleeding lasted a few days longer than usual, but that is it. I didn't even experience the horrible cramps I previously did. An excellent birth control I recommend for both regulating/stopping your period and as actual birth control."
