For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonale for two years. It's the first birth control I've ever taken, and I love the results! My periods are shorter and less crampy. I'm also no longer a hag during PMS because PMS doesn't exist for me anymore. :) I do occasionally get breakthrough bleeding, but that's definitely my own fault for taking a pill a few hours late. My main complaint is that I cry way more now-watching cheesy commercials and when I'm mad-and that I've gained weight. Every time I restart my new pack, I'm starving all week and want to eat everything in sight. My boobs obviously got bigger too, but I'm not complaining there. Still a thumbs up from me!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Seasonale for 6 years now. I’ve never had any side effects such as weight gain, decreased sex drive, etc. Every 3-month package I take, I’ve never had a breakthrough unless I forgot to take my pills for a few days. It’s been the most effective birth control for me. I love it."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Seasonale for two months now. I noticed I have been extremely tired and have a low sex drive. I gained weight while on it, which is not like me because I am very careful with my body. I feel very blah and low now that I am on it. I had breakthrough bleeding right away and have spotting every time I shower or go to the bathroom. I do not like how this pill has made me feel. I am going off of it today."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking Seasonale for 2 months, and I had to stop in month 3. The side effects were awful! I had night sweats, waking up at 4 a.m. every morning for no reason, lots of spotting, a huge appetite with weight gain, and severe depression and anxiety. The depression and anxiety were the worst! I do suffer from depression and anxiety, but it's not as bad as this medication made it! I stopped taking it, and about 4 days later, I felt so much better. Now I'm having a cycle, and it's been over a week now, hoping it will end sometime soon."

For Birth Control "I am 18 years old, and I started this seasonal birth control 3 months ago. I have had on-and-off bleeding and major cramps. One day at school, I was starting to see double, and I was feeling extremely dizzy. Fifteen minutes later, my mother picked me up, and I started to have numbness in my arms and started to lose my speech. I went to the hospital and got brain scans, and they tested my whole body. But everything ended up normal. The doctor said it was rare for someone my age to get a TIA, but it was possible, in my case, it was minor. I have had tremendous weight gain and more acne. I tried to stick with it at first because I said it has to be at least 3 months. I have immediately stopped taking it, and my symptoms are all gone."

For Ovarian Cysts "I have tried a lot of birth control already, and I am only eighteen. I have been hospitalized for extreme ovarian cysts. I first tried Ortho Cept, and from missing one pill, I bled for two months straight. After that, they put me on a low-dose three-month pack that gave me horrible breakouts and breakthrough bleeding. After those pills, I tried the Evra patch, and I was rushed to the hospital for extreme bleeding, and my arm became paralyzed for a day. After this, I was put on Seasonale, and it took two packs to start working. I then had to add the Depo shot with it. For people with extreme cases, this will not be enough for you. For normal people, this will make you gain a little weight, but no breakouts and no breakthrough bleeding or weird side effects."

For Birth Control "I’ve been using Seasonale for 10 years. I have had a very positive experience with this birth control. Not having periods for 3 months is absolutely amazing, no more mood swings. I did gain some weight, but I’m happy about it since I was very skinny to begin with. I had low libido for a year and a half, but my libido went back to normal after that. I have been taking it back to back and skipping the placebo pills in order to suppress my period entirely for about 5 years. Besides the occasional spotting (light bleeding), it’s been good. I am very happy with this product. Thank you, Seasonale. If you don’t want to experience spotting and prefer having your period every 3 months, just take the pill as directed, and you will be fine."

For Birth Control "I've been on Seasonale for almost a year. I didn't experience any negative side effects, such as weight gain, headaches, or decreased sex drive, however, I have had a fair amount of breakthrough bleeding. In one cycle, the breakthrough bleeding lasted for over two weeks until it was finally time to take the placebo pills. Every other 3-month cycle, I get breakthrough bleeding for about a week, and it's heavy enough to be a period. It's typically successful in preventing a period for a month and a half to two months, but at that point, it doesn't seem like it's strong enough to override my natural hormones."
