"At first, I had no problems with the pill. But then, on the second month of the first pack, I began spotting. At first, it was light, and then it got heavier like a normal period. This has been going on for over 2 weeks."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was so angry that I was 50, haven't hit menopause and heavy cycles. Now 51, still no menopause and angry some women don't menopause till 54. I don't want to wait that long. I requested a pill that would give me 4 cycles per year or none, as I had been having heavy bleeding over the last 5-6 years. Tired of overflow accidents in public, can't change to new clothes, changing of pad + tampon on heavy days without spill out all over the public bathroom. Heavy days using 6-7 pads and tampons together and still a mess. While waiting for insurance to kick in to take care of the fibroid, was hoping I could skip a few periods. So began LoSeasonique on Oct 27, 2019, and I thought I was in the clear because my next cycle didn't come as scheduled. Then I was seeing spotting on November 23rd, and now it's Dec 13th, and I haven't stopped bleeding yet. So the doc sent me something else to try to make cycles more regular, but unfortunately, I will have one every month. Will be stopping LoSeasonique as of today. Wish me luck."

"I've been on LoSeasonique for about a year and a half. I love it. I had no major weight gain (that I can tell), hair is still thick, and when I do have a period, it's very light and cramping is less severe. However, my body seems determined to have a monthly period, so occasionally I have to stop for a week and allow my body to have a period to stop the spotting. I highly recommend it, however, everyone's body reacts differently to birth control, so make sure you ask your doctor before making your decision. Hope this helps."

For Birth Control "I have been on LoSeasonique for 6 weeks now. The first 2 weeks, I had no breakthrough bleeding. Around week 3, I started spotting for a couple of days, then it would stop for a couple of days. I am now on week 6, and the breakthrough hasn't stopped. It's putting a damper on my thoughts of the pill. I will continue taking this pill through the first pack (3 months) and decide then if I want to continue taking it. The main purpose for taking this pill was to decrease my periods, and I have been bleeding more than before. I usually have very mild cramping and have noticed the cramping has worsened these past 3 weeks."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for over 3 years, and I would say it's the best one I've been on. Pros: Dramatic reduction in pain from cramps. Cons: Nauseous on the first pack, spotting during the first few packs. After 3 years, I get about 2 hours of spotting as my 'period.' Kind of unnerving when you're sexually active. To me, the pro makes the cons worth it, because my cramping was so bad it made me vomit from pain. 100% worth it to me."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this for a little over a month now. Not satisfied yet. I have had a lot of spotting happening, I get cramps (of which was something I was trying to not get), which still causes me to take my pain medication. I also have had the worst acne I have ever had in my whole life. I have never had it this badly. If after 3 months nothing has changed, I will be done with this product and onto another. I have a wedding in a week and am sad to say this pill caused my skin to look like this. So much for flawless skin on my day and honeymoon."

For Endometriosis "I am on my 5th week of LoSeasonique. I read the reviews beforehand, but decided to give it a shot since I never had any problems with other pills (LoEstren and Ortho TriCyclen) back in the day. Unfortunately, the bad reviews were right (for me). I had a little bit of spotting for a few days around week 2, but nothing I couldn't handle. By week 4, I started spotting and have continually spotted now going on 2 weeks, now with cramps. It's not super light spotting either. I do have to wear a panty liner every single day, and of course I don't want to have sex with my hubby either. I think I will stick it out through the first 3-month pack, but I will be more than likely to try something else next round."

For Birth Control "I've been on LoSeasonique for about a month and one week. I take the pill every day at the same time. Haven't missed a day. I was spotting for two weeks, then I started my period. I've been on my period for a week and a half. I'm staying on it just to see if it gets better. But it is not worth only having your period every three months. This is torture. Plus, I have the worst cramps of my life."

For Birth Control "I have taken LoSeasonique for 9 months now (3 packs). At first, it was great and I was all excited about 1 period every 3 months. I was wrong. This was my first birth control ever! At first, I had mood swings, I'd be fine, then the next thing I'm angry, then I'm crying over something stupid. I can handle the mood swings, but the spotting was horrible. I would get my bleeding into the 5th week mark, and then it would go away for a few days, then come back and wouldn't stop until maybe 3 days of the sugar pills. My skin had cleared up, but now when I get pimples, they scar. Oh, and the sex life was gone because of the bleeding. I stopped taking it just today, and I can already feel my hormones getting crazy."

For Birth Control "LoSeasonique works fine as birth control. I didn't get pregnant while on it, but it didn't keep my period at bay for the 3 months as stated. For me, this pill actually worked the opposite way. I had a period for 3 weeks, then nothing for 1 week rather than the other way around. And it wasn't just light spotting, I had bleeding similar to a period. I gave it a chance the first month and the second month, but after that, I called it quits. I will have to try something else."

For Birth Control "The first pack my doctor wanted me to stop after the first month to try to see what effect the medicine would have with my period and to only continue if there were no abnormalities. I followed her instructions, and toward the last 2 weeks of the 3rd set, I started seeing some 'color' that led to spotting. And my period took a while to start during the yellow pills, but was short and light. Now that I am on the 2nd pack toward the end, just about a week ago, I started spotting again. But this time it's heavier/more constant. Rarely worth a pantyliner or anything at all, just really annoying because I don't know if it will get heavier at any moment, stop, or stick around until the 'real' period comes. And will it get worse for the next pack?"

For Birth Control "I was on LoSeasonique for almost a year. The first few months were great, some spotting every now and then, but nothing major. About 2 months ago, I took a pill one day late. Consequently, I have been spotting for the entire two months. My gyno tried everything, putting me on a week's worth of estrogen and then a regimen of taking multiple pills a day for a week. Nothing worked. I've been miserable and bloated and have gained a few pounds. Before this, I really liked this pill. If you take it, make sure you take it at the SAME time every single day. She said pills with this low dose of hormones are more likely to do this. I'm currently having to switch to another pill just to make the bleeding stop."

For Premenstrual Syndrome "This pill was to be my rescue from painful periods, but I have only enjoyed 1 month period free, and I am on my second 90-day pack! I have had my period (spotting) for 1 month straight. I am skipping the placebos, but no guarantees that the spotting will stop. I may just have to go on a monthly because the appeal of this pill is quickly losing my interest."
