For Migraine Prevention "Works well! 100 mg dose: much less constipation than Aimovig high dose. But when I switched to 300 mg, the constipation was so much worse! Fewer/milder migraines, though, so it’s worth it! Without preventative medications, I can barely work part-time. With Vyepti, I can have a career. Fatigue on the day of infusion every time, and sometimes headaches. Shoulder pain for a week following infusion. Been having a lot more nausea, joint pain (knees, back, elbows, shoulders), anxiety, and my hair is so much greasier. Some of this could also be hormonal, as I’m 48 and female."

For Migraine Prevention "During my second infusion that was 300mg, I got a migraine. During my first 3 months of 100mg I saw improvement in weather-related triggers and odors. But I was more light sensitive, especially to the TV. My doctor gave me Ajovy samples to supplement the Vyepti unit I could go to 300mg."

For Migraine Prevention "Only had the first 100 mg infusion. Did not find it effective and had side effects that were more than bothersome. I constantly felt like I was dealing with allergies or getting a cold. I also felt like it was giving me muscle pain. Had the usual constipation but was able to address that. Because of this, I will not go ahead with my upcoming 300 mg increase in dosage."
