Eletriptan for Migraine "I take the 40 mg of Relpax as needed for migraines. I have had migraines for over a year now. I also take a daily preventive medicine, so I feel like with the preventive medicine that if I need to take the Relpax, it is very helpful. The only thing I do not like about it is that it tends to make my neck and jaw sore. But other than that, it does its job for me and gets rid of my migraines, and hardly ever do I have to take 2 of them."

Eletriptan for Migraine "I'm 19 and have been suffering with migraines for about a year now. My GP advised me to try Relpax out as it was impacting my work life. I am on the 80 mg dosage, and it does work really well. I already suffer from photosensitivity, and when a migraine hits, a simple phone light is unbearable. Within a couple of hours, my added light sensitivity and nausea are gone, and my head pain dulls down to a mild inconvenience. I am the rare case in which the side effects include jaw and neck pain. When I do take it, my jaw feels like it's ready to explode, but after the 2-hour mark, there is no more pain. I would recommend this to people who are sufferers, but just be wary of the side effects."

For Migraine "I find this medication, eletriptan, to be quite helpful when I do get a migraine. I usually have to take the day off work or part of the day, though. It's hard to do much but sleep for the first couple of hours after you take it, and the side effects really suck. I experience tightness in my jaw as well as my neck and shoulders, and it makes me quite dizzy. It does a good job of getting rid of the migraine, and it's better than most migraine medications I have tried."

Eletriptan for Migraine "This medication is not for me. I took it for my migraines about two months ago. I started sweating and got back and stomach pain. This time I took it, and believe me when I say the pounding in my head is the better option. It has been over 24 hours, and I can still barely use my left arm or take really deep breaths. The body pain, including jaw, neck, and shoulder pain, was so intense I almost went to the emergency room. On the bright side, the headache stopped."
