For Birth Control "I wish I could say I loved it, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. I switched to this from Sprintec (that didn’t work at all for me; I was ovulating through it). With this one, I experienced horrible headaches, night sweats during my first ever pill pack, severe stomach aches to the point where I was almost throwing up for hours each day, insomnia, leg cramps, and I could go on. It did regulate my period, which went from a horrible 7-day long painful ordeal to four days, but I couldn’t continue on this due to all the side effects."

For Birth Control "I've been on Gianvi for years. Loved it, and it worked perfectly. I steadily was 115 pounds, 5’4”. A month, not even the entire full month into taking Nikki (our pharmacy stopped distributing Gianvi and supplemented for this)—I am now a whopping 143 pounds! I am constantly cramping in my lower right quadrant. It’s unreal. I’m going off this on my own and talking to my OB next week. (I gave it a three-month trial and thought it may take a few weeks to kick in—nope, it’s worse.)"

For Birth Control "I was only on Nikki birth control for a month. While I didn’t experience any weight gain, this birth control made me feel really bad. I constantly was cramping every day on it for the whole month, and it felt like period cramps. I had no sex drive at all. But it did make my periods incredibly lighter, almost nonexistent, just like spotting at the end of the month. One con I noticed with me was whenever I drank alcohol (even small amounts) on this birth control, I experienced the worst hangovers the next day, which was not normal for me. I would throw up even 24 hours later and feel miserable any time I consumed any alcohol. Overall, this birth control wasn’t terrible. I read reviews, and it said sometimes it takes your body 3 months to adjust to it, but I wasn’t wanting to put up with these cramps for 3 whole months, so I switched to a different one. But it did make my periods way lighter, and I experienced no weight gain in one month."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I started taking this medication in August, and within the first week, I noticed vaginal bleeding and some cramping. I thought maybe it was just my body getting used to the change. I have been bleeding nonstop since I started this medication in August, I was told it is still adjusting. Then starting in October, I’ve noticed severe cramping, fatigue, having strong fatigue, and still more bleeding. I honestly thought there was something wrong with me, so finally, I decided to go back to my old birth control, Primella. I would not recommend the Nikki!"

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "Nope! My pharmacy switched me to Nikki birth control pill from Gianvi, which I had previously been on for months. My first month on Nikki was okay, but I noticed that I was experiencing severe cramping the week before I started the 'white' pills. This stayed consistent. Now on month 3, I have experienced nonstop bleeding for more than a week, extreme abdominal cramping, trouble sleeping, bodily fatigue, which has impacted my work (I work a very active outdoor job) and, as of last night, more bleeding. I thought there was something severely wrong with my body until I looked up reviews for this pill. I do not recommend this Nikki! I’ll be stopping immediately until I can find a pharmacy that will transfer me back to Gianvi."

For Birth Control "I usually take Yaz or Gianvi. On those, I only have very light cramps during my period. I've been on Nikki for a week and a half, and my cramps have been nonstop. Will not take Nikki ever again."

For Birth Control "I will switch from Vestura to this medication, and ever since, I have a stomach ache all the time. I always have to eat something before I take it, if I don't, I will have the worst nausea and stomach pain. My acne got a little worse, and I cramp when I get my period, which didn't happen with my other medication. Nikki is not so good."
