Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My first two pregnancies my doctor said I had HG. I popped all blood vessels in both my eyes and was so desperate and miserable not keeping anything down. My third pregnancy my doctor finally told me about diclegis! What a lifesaver! I no longer had to have a zofran pump in my stomach or walk around my house with an IV pole! The first dose I was tired, took a nap right away! The next few days I was tired too. But I had to take 3-4 a day every day, until I delivered my baby. So the tiredness wore off. I could drive and function just fine after taking it for a week or two. I'd rather be tired than have black eyes, look like a zombie, not be able to keep down an ice cube, and cry 100 times a day. If you're really suffering, this is worth it!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Hi. I have always been sick with each pregnancy and was put on Zofran. It worked sometimes. I have been taking Diclegis for about a month and it work the same as Zofran for me. Sometimes it work- other times it doesn't. I am up to 4 polls per day. Sometimes I still throw up and feel nauseous - like today. I guess the best thing for me is to get my tubes tied. I can't deal with this whole pregnancy thing ever again. I know one thing for sure that this is the very last pregnancy for me."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine was a lifesaver! I had horrible morning sickness and took it beginning in my second trimester up until the day before labor! I'd get horribly sick without it. My daughter turned out perfectly healthy."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This is my 4th pregnancy. I've always had bad morning sickness with each pregnancy but always ended by my 10th week. I started the Rx at 7 weeks and tried stopping at 13 weeks but experience terrible withdrawal symptoms. I only take 1 pill at night. When I tried stopping the med, I violently throw up, nauseous all day, body aches and excessive sweating. I would have never started the prescription if I knew stopping it is this painful."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This sent me to the hospital!!! I was on my second pregnancy and my OB prescribed Diclegis for my morning sickness, which feels more like all day sickness. I decided to wait till night time to take 1 instead of 2 because it said it caused drowsiness and my toddler was 1 at the time. So I wake up at 4am feeling extremely flushed, I could feel my blood pumping through my body! My heart is racing out of control. I honestly thought I was having a heart attack! I called 911 and the paramedics said my HR was at 120. Once I got to the ER I started to hyperventilate to the point where I couldn't walk, talk, and my extremities became stiff. OB laughed at me didn't believe any of my side effects, fired him, never took it again! Don't recommend it!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I am thirteen weeks pregnant and have been taking this medicine since 6 weeks. At first I didn't notice any difference but one day my nausea disappeared. Completely! I thought that the medicine had nothing to do with it since I was sick for Two weeks while taking it. 3 times I have forgotten to take it l and spent the following day puking. This medicine has given me my life back. I have two younger kids at home and I don't have the time to be sick."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Welll I came to the comments hoping it wasn’t just me, haha! I started bonjesta at 13 weeks and honestly I passed out the first night (can’t have nausea if you’re knocked out) so now I’m on day 4, it doesn’t put me out but it’s like it amped it up. I’ve thrown up 3-4 times a day and soon as I put food on my tongue, I get gaggy and chills and end up not eating. I’ve been living on crackers and chips then I throw those up. I tried a smoothie yesterday and ended up puking it all back up. Please tell me it’s almost over lol"

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Came into severe morning sickness at 6th week of my 1st pregnancy. Lost my appetite; nauseous all day everyday. Nights were the worst b/c I would wake up every 20 min. feeling like I needed to vomit. I lost weight. I tried homeopathic remedies. Nothing worked. I was so worried that I would have to live like this for my whole pregnancy. My doctor prescribed Bonjesta. Within 20 minutes of taking first pill, I felt drowsy, but my nausea already started subsiding. I will take drowsiness over nausea any day. I have to work hard to stay focussed, but still I am able to work & function & eat. I highly recommend Bonjesta. I still experience mild nausea from time to time but nothing like before. I take 1 pill when I wake up in the AM + 1 pill at approx. 6:30pm."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I lost 15 lbs due to nausea and vomiting since my 7th week of pregnancy. I was vehemently against taking any medication, but after I researched this medication I felt that it was as safe as a medication can be during pregnancy. I was at risk of losing my baby due to the significant weight loss, so I am grateful for this safe, completely effective medication. It is working for me at the lowest dose, and I feel I should buy stock in the company selling this wonderful drug. I am able to eat, drink, and maintain a normal lifestyle after weeks of misery. I highly recommend this drug if the traditional methods of managing NVP are not effective for you. I was lucky enough to receive samples from my OBGYN, so I cannot say anything as to cost."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Was extremely nauseous and was put on Zofran. Still had nausea, so my doctor suggested I try Bonjesta. So far it has made my nausea manageable and even nonexistent at times. I have gained weight back that I had lost from not being able to eat. The worst part is the tired feeling, but I will take that over the intense nausea any day. It does make my heart pound, but nothing that wasn’t already listed in side effects."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I had pretty bad morning sickness starting around my 6th week of pregnancy. I got to where I dreaded waking up the next day because I knew I’d be super nauseous and sometimes vomit. At my first appointment at 8 weeks I told the dr I was experiencing nausea and vomiting and he prescribed me this and it’s an absolute godsend! Taken at bedtime, I felt much better the next day! You don’t have to worry about this drug because all it is is a high dosage of Vitamin B6 and unisom. I’m now 27 weeks and still taking it every night because I’ve been feeling good and am scared to stop it and be sick again! Lol. I tried stopping it early in the 2nd trimester but promptly vomited throughout the day, so I plan on continuing to take it because my doctor said it is safe to do so."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was prescribed this medicine for my morning sickness. I haven't been able to get out of bed since I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. This medicine does help me to not feel nauseous, but the side effects are terrible. I feel as if I've been given a heavy sedative. I started with the prescribed does of two pills at bedtime. When I woke up the following day I could barely lift my head off the pillow and was in and out of strange drug enduced sleep all day. I tried taking the medication again but only taking one pill. The effects were the same and I felt like I was on heavy drugs. Tried for a 3rd time but only a half pill. Same outcome. Can't get out of bed, foggy and in and out of sleep."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine makes me feel paralyzed. I felt fine the first night I took it, it clearly stopped my night time nausea. But by the morning, I literally could not lift my head off the pillow for HOURS. I tried driving and felt like I was in an awake coma. I immediately called my Dr and asked for my Zofran back that I took in my first and second pregnancy. I would not recommend this medicine to anyone unless you can and want to sleep all day and have no other responsibilities requiring you to wake up and care for yourself and others. Seriously, I want to treat nausea not be in a coma. Thanks but no thanks."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started taking diclegis at 7 weeks (was totally against medicine, but the nausea was unbearable). I was so glad I did try it because it worked like magic. Huge difference the following day if I didn't take it at night. It also helped with my moodiness and over sensitivity to smell. 11 weeks later, I am discontinuing use of it - hoping I can manage the symptoms myself. I did not get side effects at first, but about 9-10 weeks into taking it (16-17 weeks of pregnancy), I started to lose sleep at night and stay tired all day. Since not taking diclegis, I can sleep at night now. I think my body just got used to it and started to react with hyperactivity. Also noticed reduced fetal movement while taking it versus not."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I had morning sickness since I was 8 weeks pregnant. Ichad my first ObGyn visit at 12 weeks, in 4 Weeks I lost 11lbs. :-( I felt miserable. I did not know there was medication to prevent Nausea... My doctor prescribed Diclegis... I started 2 pills before sleeping, 1 pill in the morning, and another in the afternoon. It was magic and amazing. When I reached 20 weeks, i started feeling sick again, Nauseous and Dizziness, and Shaking. I thought maybe I was doing overdose, I went down to 1 pill at night to sleep and I feel GREAT ALL DAY!!! Amazing... And I am currently 26 weeks and I still use it because I skipped one day and I felt horrible. Tip: if you skip or miss a pill at night, take one at anytime and you will feel better. I love Diclegis"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I have been taking Diclegis for 2 weeks now and I feel amazing. Taking 3 pills a day seems to be the magic dose for me. I previously tried Zofran which helped minimally but I was still nauseous and vomiting violently a few times throughout the day. I work full time so I really needed something more effective so my doctor recommended I try Diclegis. Two thumbs up, just a little pricey."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This was the only medication that helped me to deal with morning sickness, that actually it was never just in the morning, I was sick all day and all night... It makes you sleepy but it's not like you can't get out of bed, they tell you to take 2 before bed another one in the morning and one more at noon, but I'm just taking one before bed time and one in the morning so I don't feel super sleepy and it works perfectly for me! No more sickness and I can eat anything I want :) plus it's super safe for the baby!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine is awful! I’m 6 weeks pregnant with 2nd pregnancy and this was the first time I had experienced nausea. My doctor gave me some samples and they first night was wonderful! After a couple days I noticed was zombie like and could hardly get out of bed! I felt delirious and drugged!!! I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody that works, have have kids or who doesn’t want to be groggy all day long!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "So the first time I took Diclegis I was around 8 weeks pregnant, and it worked wonders I couldn’t relate to negative feedback here, but now with my second pregnancy it doesn’t work like the first time, I still throw up I’m still nauseous I hate smell and sight of food but I’m not going to say I’m as miserable as I was with my first pregnancy without this drug, maybe because I’ve been here before so I know what to eat and what to avoid or maybe it’s Diclegis working 20 percent only I hate to say this but ladies .. it doesn’t work every time"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This is my first pregnancy and have been in the hospital twice and I'm only 8 weeks. I have never been so sick in my entire life, one day I vomited for 16 hours every 15.minutes. Finally this was prescribed to me and I started the night I was discharged and I have not even felt sick one bit. I was doing over the counter b6 and unisom but it did not seem to work for some reason. This pill is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone else who is suffering as bad as I did."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I have been so sick since becoming pregnant, vomiting several times per day. Initially, I was given zofran, but the minute it would wear off I'd start vomiting again. My Dr switched me to Diclegis a few days ago and I feel great! No vomiting, No nausea, and I'm not worried about the potential problems that extended use of zofran could cause anymore. "

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "The first time I took it, I took one pill upon waking up. I literally stayed in bed the ENTIRE day. I could hardly open my eyes, let alone lift my head off the pillow. Thank goodness it was a weekend and I didn't have to work! I chalked it up to a bad morning sickness day and took two at bedtime that night. The next morning, it wasn't quite as bad but it was still a struggle to get through the day. I wasn't nauseous, but I was so fatigued and sleepy, and just felt "bad." I realized it might be the diclegis, so I didn't take any more after that. So now I'm back to all-day nausea (no vomiting), but at least I can function! I only recommend diclegis if you've got major vomiting/HG. Otherwise, the side effects just aren't worth it."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was experiencing pregnanacy nausea without vomiting from week 6 to current (week 8), I wasn’t able to eat, really only able to rest in bed for the most part, I tried bonjesta and it’s helped a great deal. I still experience slight nausea but it’s bearable and every so often I will actually feel hungry and am able to eat like normal. I have tried zofran as well which does help with nausea but backs you up badly, so be careful."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I guess some of us are lucky to have this pill work for morning sickness, I am not one of them. Started at my 4th week I am now 11 weeks, the pill made me worse!!! Felt like a tranquilizer and knocking me out!!! Not good when you have a 6 year old. By my 4th day I was still nauseated and throwing up. Yes I would see the somewhat dissolved pill in my throw up. Gross I know. My Dr. is not going to put me on a IV pump because I am not losing too much weight, not good!!! Wish you ladies the best and hope this helps."
