"Only thing that reduced my breakouts. Before doxy, I would have zits every day, now it's more like once a week. Overall, skin is a lot smoother. Didn't do much for redness, though."

"FYI about the cost of doxycycline monohydrate. I find it effective. Walgreens has a membership that costs $20 a year for prescriptions. This reduces the cost from $200 a month to $25. Hope this helps."

"I took this for severe rosacea, and after taking it (doxycycline hyclate) for 2 weeks, it has improved. There is still redness on my nose, so still hoping this will go as I am still taking it."

"I have been on 40 mg for 2 months and 3 weeks. No improvement at all. In fact, I think the bumps and pustules are spreading. It took a while to get over the nausea, but eventually it went away."
