For Pain "On 12/5/2013, my mother, who earlier that day was enjoying a visit from my brother-vibrant, active, and happy-visited her doctor for a regular follow-up for neck pain caused by a work injury many years earlier. Upon returning home, she took a 25 mg Zipsor capsule offered to her by her doctor as a sample/trial. Within hours, she was non-responsive and had suffered a stroke. She passed away on 12/9/2013."

For Muscle Pain "I have been taking one Zipsor after breakfast every day for years. I take it for fibromyalgia pain and muscle pain. I have traveling pain. I don't know if it helps or not. However, it is the only NSAID that I can take that doesn't exacerbate my inflammatory bowel disease. Maybe it's the reason why I'm sleepy during the day. I figure I need some kind of anti-inflammatory, and Motrin and Aleve both cause stomach problems. That would be ibuprofen and Naprosyn. So I just take this. I'm on the Patient Savings Program, so it doesn't cost anything. Maybe I'll start taking it after dinner and see if that helps me even more. But the best thing for me is a quarter tablet of hydrocodone, 2.5 mg."

For Back Pain "I don't think this works any better than taking one or two Aleve, and it cost the insurance company $1,500. Not worth it."

For Pain "I have dysplasia in both hips at 34. Need a PAO surgery on the right hip and hip replacement on the left. This has also caused sciatic problems from walking with a limp for so long. I have tried numerous pain medicines, and although I did not have any noticeable side effects with the Zipsor, it did no more for me than taking 2 Aleves. Maybe because my pain is bone-related with the addition of torn cartilage and nerve problems? Glad that it works so well for some. Anything to get off of narcotic medicines and the crutches pre-op would be nice! So, for me and my dysplasia, Zipsor has not been the miracle I was hoping for."
