For Birth Control "I've been taking Reclipsen for almost two years. The first three months, I threw up every morning. To this day, each pill I take, I experience nausea. I hate it. I realize now it's not me, and just the pill. I stopped taking it for a month and felt so much better. Also, I have no sex drive anymore, so I guess it does its 'job.'"

For Birth Control "I've been on Reclipsen for about a month now. I started taking it to regulate my period and as a form of birth control. Seems to be doing the job, no pregnancy scares so far. I did notice severe mood swings before my period started, but not sure if that was due to things going on in life or the pill. Other than mood swings, no negative side effects. Would recommend."

For Birth Control "I've been on Reclipsen for about 5 months now for terrible cramps. Doesn't make the cramps go away completely, but for the most part. Gained a few pounds, and I've noticed some mood swings, and hasn't really done anything for my acne. But overall, good for me, and I'd recommend it."

For Birth Control "I switched to Reclipsen from Zovia after 7 years because I was getting outrageous hormonal acne. I was on it for almost 2 months, and my skin cleared right up. I wasn't getting pimples before my period, and I actually liked my skin again; it was amazing! However, I was CONSTANTLY bloated. I had a huge belly, and it had nothing to do with the amount I ate, drank, or worked out. I stopped taking Reclipsen because I couldn't handle the bloated belly; clear skin just wasn't worth it. I'm still looking for that perfect BC pill. Let the search continue...."

For Birth Control "Reclipsen was recommended to me by my doctor when I was on other previous birth control because the dosage wasn't strong enough. I have been on Reclipsen regularly for about a year now, and my depression and anxiety are through the roof. Everything makes me irritable, and I always want to be left alone. It feels horrible! I was not always this way. Before the pill, I was much more relaxed and enjoyed company! I do not recommend this pill to anyone and will not be taking it anymore. Too much stress and anxiety on my body. I always feel fatigue, exhausted, no energy, or sex drive!"

For Birth Control "I'm on this BC because I recently found out that I have 2 cysts in my uterus. My right one caused extreme pain and caused me to be at 2 different hospitals all in the same week. (I'm 19) by the way, lol, 5'4" if that helps. Today is my first day on the pill, so far I've had a crazy sex drive and mild headache. As a side effect, I'm hungry every 30 minutes, lol. The pain from my cysts cooled down, which I love! And yeah, so far so good, I'll keep you ladies updated with more info!"

For Birth Control "I have been taking Reclipsen for almost a year now, and I have barely any cramps except the day before my period starts and the first day. I used to get severe cramps to the point where I was in the hospital, so this definitely helped with that. I don't see a change in my mood, weight, or sex drive, but I did start to break out a little on my forehead and chin, which I never used to before this pill. Currently, in the process of trying to find a different type of birth control to get rid of the forehead acne."

For Birth Control "I was on Reclipsen for a year. I was not happy with my experience. I always had a short fuse, and my acne got worse. The only good things were that I had no weight gain, and my periods were much lighter and one day shorter than without birth control pills. My obgyn tried me on Zarah, and I had an even worse experience, so she switched me back to Safyral."

For Birth Control "I started this birth control on the 1st day of my period exactly 2 weeks ago. I started to notice some extreme headaches within the first week that would not go away no matter what I did. I wasn't absolutely sure it was the pill that caused it, I thought maybe it was from oversleeping. However, here I am two weeks later bleeding and having unbearable cramps, whereas before I would bleed for 5 days with minor cramps. I just stopped taking it 2 days ago, so I'm hoping the side effects go away soon. I know birth control affects everyone differently, I just couldn't deal with the headaches. Hoping the Nexplanon side effects aren't too bad."

For Birth Control "I'm 19 and have been on this birth control since I was 16. I love it so much I've never noticed any bad side effects. I have gained weight, but that's probably because I've gotten older. I recently just switched to the NuvaRing because I am horrible at remembering to take the pill and am more sexually active now."

For Birth Control "Been on it for 2 weeks now. I don't tolerate anything well, and the first week I was very nauseous, had a few headaches, but nothing I couldn't handle. Now I've noticed that I've gained a pound, probably because it seems my boobs exploded. I was already a D, and now I'm sure I'm at least a DD. Kill me. Other than that, my sex drive is fine, maybe a little lower, but not bad. The one thing that I don't like is I'm super moody, and then I get depressed and want to eat everything. Also, some days I'm so tired and don't want to do anything."

For Birth Control "Been on Reclipsen for about a week and a half. My face is breaking out so bad, and I usually have very good skin. I feel swollen all over, especially my face and legs, and lately I have been having pounding headaches, not to mention the horrible cramps."

For Birth Control "Been on this for over a year. I've gained weight, get extremely emotional before I start. I am on BC to help regulate my periods. I know when I will start, however, bleeding is heavy, and I spot for three weeks, and I get maybe a week off from spotting/bleeding. This is a killer to my sex life! I have contacted my OBGYN to help find me a BC that has no periods to see if that helps!"

For Birth Control "I took Reclipsen for about 5 years. For the last year, I was spotting every day. My doctor thought it was possibly a uterine polyp, but once she did a hysteroscopy (put a camera in my uterus), she discovered that my uterine lining had become dangerously thin due to the pill. I immediately stopped taking it. I used to be bloated every day, but since I stopped the pill, my stomach is flat, and I dropped 10 pounds almost instantly. My boobs did shrink once I stopped, but it was a fair trade for the weight loss. The worst part about all this is that in the 3 months after I stopped Reclipsen, I've been experiencing insane hair loss. Every time I brush or wash my hair, it comes out in wads. I can now see my scalp through my bangs. I would never recommend Reclipsen."

For Birth Control "I've noticed a wide range of comments from no side effects to tons of side effects, and I think everyone's body chemistry is just different, and you have to find what works for you. I haven't had any side effects so far and have been on Reclipsen for 2 months, but I also have a lot of hormonal imbalances that I'm trying to correct due to having a brain tumor and surgery to remove it. My hair has been falling out, and I've lost 25 lbs since my surgery (March 25th), so nothing I am experiencing can really be contributed to my birth control."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control due to my agonizing and crippling cramps caused by my period. It does help with my cramps, but I bleed two times a month, which makes me wonder if it's even worth it. This is my first time taking birth control, so I did unfortunately end up going to Planned Parenthood due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to this sort of thing. I ended up going back to Planned Parenthood and complaining about my nearly constant period I was experiencing. She dismissed me and told me I was taking it incorrectly. I made sure to take it at the same time every single day for a month, but to no avail. I do have clearer skin and no noticeable weight gain, but I do not regularly check my weight."

For Birth Control "I have been on Reclipsen (Desogen), the first birth control I've been on. And I have to say I love it. I always have clear, soft skin, love my periods for being on time, I knew what hour it would come, and when it ends, it was perfect. So I have been on Reclipsen for 1 year and 6 months, and I started realizing crazy mood swings during the placebo pills (the PMS week), and my mood would be irritable then happy, it was bipolar. I also realized a lot of hair loss (but then again I really have thick hair). I also realized shortness of breath super easily. I already talked to my doctor about switching. My doctor switched me to Seasonale, I'm kind of nervous switching."

For Birth Control "This is my second month using Reclipsen. I had no problems the first month (no weight gain, no headaches, etc.). Now, this month so far I have gained around 2-3 lbs. If I get anywhere close to gaining 10 lbs, I am done with this birth control for sure! I just keep trying to weigh my choices. I've been pregnant at least 4 times, and I gained about 2-3 lbs with each pregnancy. So, I think gaining a few pounds on birth control is okay compared to gaining it while being pregnant and having a miscarriage. So, yes, I'm okay with the side effects of Reclipsen so far."

For Birth Control "I had been off birth control for about a year when I decided I wanted to go back on it. My doctor recommended Reclipsen; she believed it would clear up the little bit of acne that I had on my cheeks and forehead. I took Reclipsen for 4 months in total and it was a nightmare. The first month my breasts were extremely tender. They were tender to the point that it was painful to sleep in various positions and I could hardly exercise due to the pain. By month 2 I started to feel like my whole body was swollen. My face also looked swollen, and my acne actually became much worse! I lost my sex drive and felt miserable. I stopped taking it because I felt like I was becoming a monster! Lutera was much better for me, so I'm back to that!"

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for about a year. It shortened my periods from seven days to four days. My breasts did not grow, however, I messed up the cycle, and cysts formed in both of my breasts, making them tender. I gained ten pounds and then lost about seven. I was constantly hungry! It definitely helped my PMS, but I did experience many mood swings besides that. My skin cleared up a tad bit."

For Birth Control "So I had to switch from Caziant to this, and the first month was fine, but all of a sudden, I'm always angry, and although I don't break out normally, I have acne all over my cheeks. Like I've seen with other people, I think I might have a yeast or bacterial infection, which I have never had before."

For Birth Control "This was the first birth control I ever got on at 14, and it’s the only one that ever had side effects. I gained weight, had cramps so bad I would have panic attacks, and my emotions were a roller coaster."

For Birth Control "I would definitely not recommend Reclipsen. Just two weeks into taking it, my chest broke out and my chin. Also, now I’m extremely greasy for no reason! If you’re looking for a solution for acne, this is not it. Also, now I have a pimple on my cheek!"

"I'm 36 and I've been on and off with Reclipsen since I was 16. It's a great birth control when you take it as directed. I was recently re-prescribed it for PMDD. I am now 1 week from my period, and I am not the scary and weeping terror like I have been for the last 8 months. I don't get side effects from this birth control, and I'm very happy with it."

For Birth Control "I loved being on Reclipsen. I started taking it when I was 20 and had no side effects, probably because I was active in college and had other things to distract me. I'm now 26 and stopped taking Reclipsen so my husband and I can start trying for a baby. So far, the effects of coming off Reclipsen have been horrible. I can't wait to get pregnant and have babies, so I can go back on Reclipsen!"
