For Birth Control "I started Isibloom in April, and I wanted something that would stop my period. It works, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, the pill does its job. But in the beginning, I experienced mood swings and nausea, which is understandable because your hormones are changing once you begin. But one thing for anyone looking at taking this pill, I will warn you about now: don't miss a single day. Doesn't matter if it's past the time you're supposed to take it, still take it. I missed two days, and I'm having the worst cramps and heaviest period I've ever had. And for me, that's insane, I used to vomit from pain and had heavy periods before the pill, but this takes the cake. It's a sharp, persistent pain, almost to the point I want to see a doctor. But so far, that has been the worst thing to happen to me. So if you want to take Isibloom, do so. But be warned about the side effects of missing even just one day."

For Birth Control "I was really excited to start taking birth control. I was almost 19, in a relationship, and wanted to be safe. Plus, there were other benefits to taking birth control, such as lighter, regular periods and improvement in acne. When I first started taking Isibloom, I felt myself getting nauseous sometimes and cramps in my pelvic area. About a week after I started, I had gotten a cramping feeling in both of my calves, so I had to take ultrasounds to make sure there was no clotting. Nothing there, and I continued to use it. I noticed myself getting more sensitive and very irritable, but I figured it was a side effect. I would get sad for no reason. I would get really anxious sometimes. I disconnected with a lot around me. I didn’t have the energy that I did pre-birth control, and I definitely did not feel like myself. It progressively got worse, and my mental health was bad. Everyone’s experience is different. I stopped the birth control a week ago, and now I feel more like myself!"

For Birth Control "I was switched from Cyred to Isibloom, and TBH, I hate it. I’ve been having really intense mood swings/depression. I feel like a different person. I have no motivation to do anything and have had a noticeable loss of interest in my hobbies and even just going out to see friends. I also have been experiencing fatigue. I’m soooo tired all the time. I’ve been having to take 2-5 hour naps in the middle of the day."

For Birth Control "I’ve been using Isibloom for about 2 years now, and the only bad side effects I’ve had are cramps and acne. I never had cramps before taking this birth control, but they’re not terrible, I can still manage to work and be fine. As for the acne, not sure if it's caused by this birth control or not, but once my period starts, I start to see a few. Other than that, I’ve had no other issues, and I'm going to continue to use this because I am scared to try anything else. The reviews on this website for other birth controls and this one are kinda scary."

For Birth Control "I haven't even been taking this pill for two weeks. In this time, I am having extreme trouble sleeping (even with the help of sleep aid pills), back pain, horrible cramping, and not to mention mood swings. I have been extremely irritated. I will be fine one minute, then start crying for absolutely no reason. I have no desire to be on a medication that completely alters my personality. This kind of depression is not okay, and in my opinion, not worth it."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on several other brands of birth control, all of which gave me cramps or terrible, terrible mood swings/constant depressive thoughts. I’ve been on Isibloom for about 7 months now, and honestly, it’s been great. My period is down to 3 days, which are very light. I no longer have to deal with horrible cramping/nausea, and my “PMS acne” is basically non-existent now. The only side effects I’ve noticed are a slight weight gain, and oddly, I now find the taste/smell of hot coffee absolutely repulsive."

For Birth Control "I (20 yr) was on Isibloom for 2 years. It cleared my acne and lightened my periods, but I didn't realize until I got off how depressed I was. I was just always constantly a little sad. Now that I'm off, I have forgotten how good life can feel, though my acne has made a horrible comeback."

For Birth Control "I have only been on Isibloom for a week or so. I have had horrible experiences with other birth controls. The Mirena, the NuvaRing were both horrible for me. This birth control is totally different. I'm usually extremely moody during my ovulation time and right before I get my period. This has totally mellowed me out! I can't be happier with it! I'm going to continue to use it and hopefully it just gets better for me!"

For Birth Control "This pill got changed on me without notice. I started taking it with no questions asked, but it's making me not interested in sex with or kissing my husband, and both of us are upset about it. I'm gonna be changing to a different pill because this one is not for me."

For Birth Control "I started Isibloom back in June 2019. I got prescribed it using The Pill Club. I’m now 19 and have had a pretty good experience. I haven’t had any crazy medical issues or bad side effects. I didn’t gain weight, nor did this make my acne worse. I used to have back acne, but once going on this, it went away and I do not experience any breakouts. I also haven’t had any pregnancy scares or food cravings (outside of being very hangry on your period, lol). I also noticed my periods have become much lighter—I used to have a 5-day period, now it’s been reduced to 2 days with very light bleeding towards the end. The one thing is that my moods have definitely changed. I’m not depressed or have anxiety, but I get very angry really easily, and I’m sensitive now, so it’s easy to make me cry. Other than that, it’s good."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill for three years now. I started because I was having heavy periods, and my doctor recommended this to help slow down. After a few months, it did. This pill comes with a lot of consequences. I’ve gained about 40 pounds on this pill. I’ve had anxiety, pains in joints, bloating, night sweats. I thought I was really sick with something else, but every time I would go to the doctor for a symptom, everything would check out okay. This pill is okay when you first start, but the longer you take it, your body starts to show effects. I have stopped and am currently looking into other options."

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for 6 months, and that has been my only use for preventing pregnancy and has worked great for that. The first 3 months were my body getting used to the pill. I was feeling nauseous, and my mood swings were all over the place. I was worried it wasn’t going to change. Now at 6 months, I feel normal. That second week, I still get emotional, not depression, but every little thing will make me cry, like “I love my boyfriend too much” or “awwww, that’s so cute,” kind of cries. Other than that, it works great."

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old, this is my first birth control, and I have been on it for around 9 months. The first 3-7 months were bearable, I didn’t gain weight, my mood swings increased a little, and I had a few headaches here and there. Months 8-9, I’m noticing more breakouts on my skin and more dryness around my eyes, it could just be the environment, though. Overall, Isibloom does its job of preventing pregnancy, and its side effects aren't all too bad."

For Birth Control "Everybody will tell you there was no change when they changed the packaging from green to pink, but I’ve been on this pill for 4 years and never had any problems until they changed the pack to pink. The bleeding is literally out of control. Period starts an entire week before the inactive period pills and goes all the way through an active week of pills to stop bleeding (literally only have a week out of the entire month with no bleeding). If you want to wear a pad/tampon the whole month, this is the brand for you."

For Birth Control "Geez! Since this is pretty much my first real experience with BC, I don't really have much to compare it to, but let me tell you ladies something - this pill beat me down like I was in a street fight. I'm 35 and only taking it as part of my IVF process, but headaches are just the tip of the iceberg. I am nauseated the entire day, even though I take my pill at night. I have a fever and hot flashes that make me so angry I want to SCREAM! I have no appetite and lost 6 lbs. in the 9 days because I am also nauseous. I haven't experienced a yeast infection or any spotting, but there is ZERO love-making to get had and my husband is very kind and understands my feeling yucky is a side effect. His issue is my inability to control my emotions. If I'm not furious, I'm crying my eyes out. Save yourself!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 4 months now, and I have experienced zero side effects! This is my first time taking birth control, as I decided to go on a bit of a spree, lol, and figured it would be a good idea. I went through my spree and now have a serious relationship with no pregnancy scares so far. I ordered this from Pill Club without insurance and only had to pay $40 with the copay for a year's supply. I DID request a pill that would stop my period, and Isibloom does no such thing, but that's on the Pill Club, not the pill itself. It did regulate my period, which is something I haven't had since I started it, so at least that's something. My periods are pretty much the same as they were prior to the pill, my acne is back and forth on how bad it gets, but no weight gain, mood swings, or change in behavior. All in all, I like this pill!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for 4 months. I noticed a big difference in my eating habits. I eat less and lost about 15 pounds since starting. I have had major mood swings in the beginning where I even scared my family. I wouldn’t recommend this to teens, just young adults. The hormones make me go back and forth with my acne, but only around my regular period time, and I still get ovulation pain while on the pill, so I’m not sure it’s actually doing what it’s supposed to. My advice: research as much as possible about what you want to put into your body and talk to your doctor or nurse about it, they will put you on a better track than looking at reviews."

For Birth Control "This pill Isibloom started out great with little to no side effects and seemingly does its job considering I’m not pregnant. However, after 3 months, I began to experience severe mood swings. I cry all the time over little things and sometimes nothing. I also get uncontrollably angry and lash out on everyone. I have no motivation and I’m depressed most of the time. Some other side effects I’ve noticed were painful periods, nausea (to the point that I actually fainted), weight gain, and bloating. This pill is not worth taking, it greatly affected my mental health. After today, I will no longer be taking Isibloom. I absolutely DO NOT recommend."

For Birth Control "Everyone's bodies will react differently, so keep that in mind while you're reading through these reviews. I've been taking this for 2 months now, about to start my third pack. My first month wasn't bad, I practically had no side effects. I cried a couple of times, but I was also going through a lot of changes in my life at that time, so I have no idea if the pills amplified my emotions or not. The second month was pretty horrible. I had really bad nausea that I've never experienced before. I would be sitting there, and I'd constantly feel like throwing up. That eventually went away, but then the sadness/mood swings came back. Again, I don't know if I can blame the pills because I do struggle with mental health, but I feel like it amplified that sadness. It was more like once a week. But now that I'm starting my third pack, it hasn't been as bad. In summary, I experienced some nasty side effects, but they weren't every day, and they didn't last too long."

For Birth Control "If you enjoy 3 am trips to the ER for your body not being able to regulate its body temperature and other normal things in your life that once made you happy turning dark. Your significant other saying you are different. Do you enjoy yeast infections leaking out of your vagina? Craving bad food. Migraines. This is the pill for you. WORST BIRTH CONTROL EVER! BEWARE!"

For Birth Control "I am on my third pack of Isibloom, and for the first 1.5 months, acne was crazy! Especially around my chin. Now that I’m onto my third pack, that has cleared up a bit. Secondly, my libido decreased a lot in the first month. My sex drive was high before switching to Isibloom, so I was shocked that it made a huge difference. My boyfriend was aware of the situation, so if this ever happens, have some lube on hand! Thirdly, my period was quite heavy with this BC pill. But before I even started taking BC pills, I always experienced heavy bleeding, so it was nothing new to me. Lastly, I didn’t notice a change in anything-appetite, weight, mood change, nothing-since I first started taking Isibloom. I decided to skip my period from the second pack onto the third pack, and it was a smooth transition! I’m on my second week in my third pack, and it’s nice not having a period! No pregnancy, too!"

For Birth Control "I got prescribed Isibloom after I had complications with an IUD. I took it at night around 7-8 pm the first day, and I was up all night with nausea and vomiting. I felt severely nauseous the next day, as well. I decided to see if it would get better after a week of taking it. I missed 3 days of classes because of the nausea, but no vomiting. I thought it was getting better, but I couldn't eat really anything since I had started taking Isibloom. Taking it later at night didn't really help either, as I would wake up the next day still extremely sick. I ultimately decided to stop taking it after the vomiting started up again after two weeks of taking it."

For Birth Control "I've been on Isibloom for almost 4 months. It's the first BC pill I've ever taken. I experienced extreme nausea immediately after taking it for about a month. Other than that, I've had no other side effects. I didn't gain any weight or experience mood swings. I also noticed that I don't get much acne (or any) anymore, but I'm not sure that's 100% because of the pill. Basically, I think the first month is the worst, but it's worth it if you push through!"

For Birth Control "I haven’t been on Isibloom for very long, but so far it's the best birth control I’ve ever been on. I don’t get cramps anymore, my periods don’t last as long as they used to, it doesn’t cause nausea and indigestion like my last one did. I'd like to know if it affects my mood because I haven’t been on my meds, so if anything, that’s probably why. And best of all, it doesn’t cause vaginal dryness or decreased libido like my last birth control did. So I'm pretty pleased with it, and hopefully, all the positives continue as I continue to use it."

For Birth Control "As soon as I started Isibloom, I sweat profusely. As soon as I step outside or even inside, if I move around too much. I sweat to the point sweat is literally dripping from my face. It’s been about 5/6 months, and I’m just realizing my sweating is tied to my birth control. When I first started taking it every day, it stopped my period like I wanted. After about 3 months, I started my period despite taking the pill every day and skipping the placebo pill. I’ve been on my period almost a month now... still taking the pill every day. I stopped taking the pill yesterday."
