For Insomnia "I’ve had trouble sleeping over the last few months (falling asleep and staying asleep), so my doctor recommended Quviviq 50 mg. After reading the pamphlet that came along with the medication, I cozied up and waited for a great night's sleep. And waited… holding onto hope I tried it a few times to see if it was a fluke, but after reading other reviews I am relieved to know it isn’t just me. And the itching!! I’m glad I can pinpoint it now. Thankfully, I was put on Ambien, which is more effective for me. The Quviviq also amplified my anxiety and depression. Maybe it affects others differently, but it definitely wasn’t for me. Hopefully, you all have better results. Happy sleeping."

For Insomnia "This is my 2nd update - been on Quviviq for about a month now. Finding over time that I am developing anxiety and depression in the mornings. I kept taking it thinking it would go away, but it hasn't. I had high hopes as I have tried a lot of other sleep meds. I don't think this med will work for me."

For Insomnia "The drug was amazing for helping me sleep. But after four days of being on it, I got severely depressed to the point of not wanting to live anymore. And had to get off of it immediately."

For Insomnia "I do get good sleep, but the next day I feel more depressed. Unless it's because I am on lorazepam as well, but I am getting a good night's sleep, at least? 25 mg."

For Insomnia "I started Quviviq 17 nights ago after 1.5 years of using a THC gummy for sleep. Over the last few months, my sleep had become increasingly fragmented with frequent wake-ups. My doctor suspected prolonged THC use was to blame, so we turned to Quviviq to help me taper off. The good news: I’ve now been off THC for over a week, and Quviviq has absolutely helped stabilize my sleep. But the trade-off hasn’t been worth it. The daytime side effects are rough—constant fatigue, low mood, and a complete lack of motivation. I wouldn’t call it depression, but I feel flat and drained, and as a massage therapist, that’s not sustainable. Even on my worst nights with THC, I still had energy and a good outlook. That’s no longer the case. So, I’m tapering off Quviviq now and hoping I can retrain my brain to sleep without anything."

For Insomnia "Fine line between stress, insomnia, and depression. One week in and this medication did not provide restful sleep. In fact, I was so depressed upon finally getting out of bed 7-8 hours later. All I wanted to do was hide from the hopelessness and go back to bed for another 4 hours. 50 mg at bedtime, 10 pm, but a good hour to fall asleep and awake by 3 or 4 am, then toss and turn for 3 hours. Rise, drink coffee, feel like a loser, and go back to bed till 11 am. Not functional, and there’s no way I’m gambling my health to give this a month to do as it claims."
