For Atopic Dermatitis "My son has severe eczema and is only 17 months old. We had tried what seemed like every OTC and prescription med out there, and nothing helped. He would itch all night and get open sores from scratching. His face is constantly bleeding. The derm recommended this. We have only had it two days, and it has been amazing. The cracked skin is now smooth, and the crusted blisters have completely disappeared. He slept so well and doesn't seem miserable and itchy. So far, we love it!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "Moderate to severe eczema has haunted me for the past 30 years. I've used every ointment and cream available to some temporary success and steroids when the itching gets out of hand. Doc gave me Eucrisa a month ago that has proved to be a $700 false prophet. It clears up the rashes but not the itching. I look at my hands and think, Wow! So clear! then scratch the smooth skin 'til the blood runs cold. Hope this is not true with everyone. I wouldn't wish this condition on my worst enemy... well, maybe with the exception of one or two!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have mild atopic and have been using this ointment for over a week, applying twice a day. Have felt less itchy, however, no changes on my skin have cleared up. Since I'm dark skin, the spots are actually getting darker, which is strange. Don't know what all the hype was with this drug, but so far I am not impressed. Going to complete the treatment and post my verdict then."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have suffered with moderate eczema for 25 years, mainly on my hands. I’m 39, female. I used steroid creams and ointments daily for 25 years. The steroid creams have eaten away my skin over the years. I have tried everything over the years to help relieve my eczema. The steroids have only reduced symptoms. My hands constantly had blisters, skin peeling off, cracks, swollen areas, bleeding, and hurt. They always hurt, ached, and itched. The itching kept me from sleeping. It’s caused me anxiety and depression and made me miserable until I had a friend give me a sample of Eucrisa. The Eucrisa stopped the itching immediately. Blisters started drying up after 1 application, and my cracks started to heal. No stinging or burning when the Eucrisa was applied, unlike the steroid creams. In 4 days, my hands were completely healed for the first time in 20+ years. I am so thankful. Bought a tube - best $70 I ever spent! I catch myself staring at my hands all the time. I forgot what they used to look like! Eucrisa changed my life!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "After trying every OTC and most RX, was finally given very expensive Eucrisa. Eczema was all over face, red and inflamed. This was ongoing for two months. Area around lips and eyes were also very bad, with itching and scaling. After using this cream for less than a week, symptoms started to leave. Within three weeks, the entire face was clear. Unbelievable. Was so happy to find this."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Well, it burned a little bit at first on my first day I used it, and after that, no more burning, but a lot of itching. I'm glad my doctor had samples he gave to me before I spent $100 on the tiny tube and wasted my money. How does this drug company expect a tiny tube that's very expensive to treat atopic dermatitis, which covers a person's whole body? Also, don't they realize that us people with this skin disease are not millionaires? Most of us are middle class or hardworking blue-collar workers working 2 or 3 jobs just to pay our bills and put food on the table. It's not our fault that we got this disease. We never asked for it. So why are they charging so much? Anyway, I'm not crazy about the price or the itching it causes me after I put it on."

For Atopic Dermatitis "This cream not only caused me pain, but it caused my eczema to itch 100x more. It also dried my skin up to the point where my skin would crack and start to peel. I'm disappointed not only because it cost me $70, but because I was excited for a new solution to my eczema that didn't require steroids."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I was able to get Eucrisa for $35 for a full 60-gram tube. I was temporarily on Elidel, which seemed to help my frequent flare-ups on my hands calm down. It seems my eczema has gotten so much worse with Eucrisa. I have rash-like bumps all over my hands, intense itching, and pain to the point where I don't even want to go to work, and they felt like they were on fire. I didn't know what to put on my hands to stop the intense itching, so I went back to applying my son's triamcinolone cream to my hand, and the pain went away within a half an hour. I'm really unsure if I want to continue using the Eucrisa, I have not noticed any improvement in my skin. I've been on it twice a day for at least a week."

For Atopic Dermatitis "After being diagnosed with a topical dermatitis, I was prescribed Eucrisa. It appeared to have worked after 2-3 days, but then the breakouts got worse. More bumps, rash, and itching. Continued for 2 weeks, it’s worse. Used the entire tube. Paid $30 after insurance coverage, but it’s not effective for my issue."

For Atopic Dermatitis "In March, my 2-year-old gets eczema terribly either in the diaper region or all over his body, but this time he got it on his face, and we've tried everything. I'm pregnant right now, so I can't use the steroid cream that we usually use, and you shouldn't use a steroid cream on your face. The doctor gave me this prescription since it's steroid-free. It's lightened up, and it's not as red, and he's not itching. His face does look a little scary, but I think it's just his face healing, so I think it's working. It's just I want instant results. My doctor also gave me a savings card from the pharmaceutical company, and now my copay is $35, so ask your doctor if they have the card. Before that, it was going to cost me $300."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I loved Eucrisa for the first few weeks. It burned a little and then caused peeling, but after that, my eczema was amazing. I primarily used it on my hands-where I have the most severe eczema. After constant use, my hands were getting more red and itchy-in places I didn’t usually have issues, like my palms and the back of my hands. So I used more, and it got so much worse. I stopped using it and went back to my normal steroid cream, and I went back to my baseline. I was so excited for a non-steroidal cream, but I had a bad reaction with continual use :("

For Atopic Dermatitis "This medication burns like someone is pouring acid on your face. After using it the first time at night (which I cried because it burned so bad), my face became less red after 30 minutes to an hour, but by the next day it looked exactly the same as it had prior to using the cream. My dermatologist recommended that I put facial lotion on first and then apply the Eucrisa to prevent it from burning, but that turned out to be a laughable solution. The second day, I had to talk myself into applying it on my already sore face. It burned for 30 minutes. I have applied it for 5 days now and my eczema is exactly the same; all over my face, weeping, bright red, and itchy. I give up and I really hope my dermatologist can find something else because it is just not worth the pain for no result. I really wanted this to work. The only positive thing I can say is it applies easily and my dermatologist provided me with a coupon that made it $30. Not a fan."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Don't try Eucrisa! In 3 days of use, my chronic itching has increased tenfold and has spread to parts of my body that previously were never a problem. It is all because I went to a new dermatologist last week who prescribed the Eucrisa and gave me two small sample tubes. After Day One, the backs of my thighs appeared to be healing. Day Two, I noticed a more subtle itching and a strange rash on my back, stomach, and buttocks. Day Three, I'm crawling with itchiness over my entire body. Is this a sick joke to give someone with intense chronic itching a medication that makes it worse!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "Horrible burning! Prescribed Eucrisa for severe itching (dermatitis) around eyes. Made condition significantly worse and felt like I had flames coming off my eyelids and under eyes. Tried putting up with it for as long as I could stand it. Was actually making a bad situation worse and finally had to wash it off and apply a cold compress for half an hour to calm it down. Add the fact my insurance company was charged $1,099.99 for this stuff only makes the situation worse. Now my eyes are worse and the ointment is a greasy mess that does not go away. Who would want to be out in public with greasy eyes? Would definitely not recommend this!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I’ve been using Eucrisa for 10 days now. It does seem to help. I put on a lotion from Avon that has lidocaine in it first, and it numbs my skin on my neck where I have eczema, and it makes it where it doesn’t hurt or burn or itch when I put the Eucrisa on. It really makes it comfortable to put Eucrisa on my eczema."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Used it for 3 days around my eyes since my Dr wanted me to stop using hydrocortisone. On the 3rd day, I woke up with extremely swollen and itchy eyes, which were still swollen and itchy when I went to bed later that night. It's almost like it triggered horrible eczema as well, which is what it was supposed to be treating. Thank goodness I have a sample and haven't filled my expensive prescription."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have suffered through bouts of eczema for years on my neck, face, arms, and legs. I've tried so many things, and the only thing that helped me was Cordran tape. I can't get that because it's $700, and my insurance doesn't cover it. There is also no online coupon, so I thought I would try Eucrisa. It burns like crazy and makes the area itch for at least 10 minutes, and I didn't find it that effective. The part about eczema that is really difficult is the itching, and no matter what I try, I still itch. I feel slight relief, but it's not worth it to pay $700 for minimal results."

For Atopic Dermatitis "This product is amazing - so happy it is available. I experienced relief the day of using this product. My hands and face were suffering from a horrible flare-up, and after receiving samples until my prescription arrived, my skin felt immediately calm. My skin was itchy, tight, and super dry - once I applied, my symptoms were scaled back. My red, irritated patches were 100% healed by two weeks. Highly recommend."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I was prescribed Eucrisa after I’ve struggled with large, itchy welts all over my arms, legs, and stomach, many of which are likely the result of a bug bite or allergen. I received an allergy scratch test as well as a patch test, where I discovered I was allergic to the Triamcinolone cream as well as all the hydrocortisone creams I’d been using to fix my itchy skin and hives. I’ve used a full 60 mg Eucrisa tube, and I have not seen it make much of a difference. When I apply the medication, it burns slightly and then becomes more itchy or tingly, like when your legs fall asleep. I have had better luck treating with alcohol to clean any irritants from my skin and applying Neosporin with pain relief to help relieve some irritation."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I've had eczema on the inner part of my elbows on both arms since I was about 4. I've had it for about 10 years, and nothing really helped. Like a month or two ago, the eczema on my left arm just completely disappeared, thank God for that. But the eczema on my right arm decided it was not going anywhere. It really started to flare up and spread. It looked really bad, worse than it had in years. So I went to the doctor, and he prescribed Eucrisa. He told me I had to take it for 29 days. I'm on day 16, and it has really calmed down and stopped spreading, it's actually starting to clear up a bit. I just hope that by day 29, it's all gone. Eucrisa has made it softer, and it doesn't appear dry for a while after use, it has completely stopped the itching. It also cost my mom and my insurance company nothing, the doctor gave me six small tubes of it and said it would be more than enough. He was right. But anyway, I give Eucrisa a thumbs up, it has made me feel much better about my skin."

For Atopic Dermatitis "In the winter, my eczema is the worst, and in the summer, it's almost gone. I had gone to my doctor in the past for eczema around my eyes, was prescribed steroid cream. When the winter months came around, I would dab a little bit of that cream on other parts of my face to help. This past summer, I noticed my skin 'behaving' how it usually does in the winter: dry, itchy, peeling. Unusual for me during the summer months. Over a few weeks, it slowly got worse. Eventually, I went to the dermatologist, who told me I just had dry skin. I refused to believe that and told him how it IS eczema and not just dry skin. He finally prescribed me Eucrisa without warning me that this ointment burns for a good 10 minutes. I've only been using it for a few days, but I don't see it helping at all. Maybe the first day it did, but since then, I've just felt itchier, and I have red coin-sized blotches on my face now. I wouldn't recommend this ointment. The burning sensation isn't worth the day that it does work."
