For Middle Ear Infections "AVOID THIS DRUG! I walk-in clinic prescribed it to me, here I am at 2 am in massive pain. I can't get a second of relief to fall asleep. Now I'm reading that the pain will continue for 4 to 5 days. Well, isn't that just a miracle? At least before the drops, I could sleep, now I'm literally sleep-deprived and in enormous pain. I'm going to continue with the drops, but oh help me, Lord, if I die because of being sleep-deprived and getting in an accident, I just want it on record that it's this stupid drug's fault. Don't be a fool, if your doctor recommends this garbage, implore them to try it first. They must be getting a great kickback from this company to prescribe this garbage. So, yeah, I am not pleased at all, not even slightly."

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic for Middle Ear Infections "On day four, I stopped sleeping, started having night sweats, bugs crawling on my skin, slurred speech, very high HR. Unfortunately, I couldn't believe that it was ear drops, and so I continued taking them for another 8 years, by which time I totally deteriorated. Since stopping it a month ago, I still have insomnia, high HR, terrible tinnitus, painful muscles, fatigue, panic attacks, etc. I have since found out I was 'floxed' and that the damage to my CNS might even be permanent. Please look for alternatives and NEVER allow this near your child!!"

Ciprofloxacin / dexamethasone otic for Otitis Externa "I’ve taken 4 doses of Ciprodex and will need my 5th dose in a few hours. I was prescribed this medicine by a nurse practitioner and told to use it 2x per day (4 drops per dose). My ear canal is still swollen, the pain has gotten a lot worse, and I also have pain in and under my jaw now. I have difficulty eating, and I can’t sleep because it feels like someone is stabbing my brain with a knife. I came to this site to find out how long it takes to work. It's not looking hopeful."
