"I had to have my gallbladder removed in Dec. 2012 after two months of nausea and vomiting, pain, and weight loss. Like one of the other reviewers said, I too became chronically ill again about a month after surgery and could barely eat and started dropping weight again. I also had chronic nausea and diarrhea. My doctor put me on Librax, and it has changed my life. Within 48 hours after I started taking the medicine, all of my symptoms disappeared, and I started having real hunger pangs again and have been able to eat. Still can't eat whatever I want and have to monitor my fat intake. I only take the medicine at dinnertime, and occasionally I need one during the day. It has worked wonders at helping my body recover from the surgery."

"It works! That's why insurance won't pay! Shame on them! I took this medication when it first came out in 1966, and I was 8 years old. Don't know why it was stopped, but suffered all my life with gastric issues. I am now 63 years old, and I can tell you this medication, Librax, is the only medication that works."

"Yes, I agree, like the other reviews say, it works very well. So now I order it from overseas, very cheap, and get it within a week. The newer doctors are pushed by pharmaceutical companies to prescribe the new medicines, and in turn, they get bonuses and other things. The sad truth is it's more about making money than real healthcare anymore."

"I started on Librax in the 60s when I was in my early 20s. It helped me greatly through the years for my stomach spasms, then the doctors didn't want to prescribe it anymore. So for a while, I had to go without it. But I finally convinced my doctor that it helped me so much that he has prescribed it for me. It really works well. I also had terrible anxiety and some depression about a year ago, and I was prescribed Lexapro. I was told not to take Librax with Lexapro. I finally decided to take it anyway because my stomach spasms were coming back. So far, I've had no problem taking both. I take 10 mg of Lexapro daily and Librax as needed."

"I have had stomach cramps that caused me to pass out from pain when I was around 14 years old. Tried a few different meds without success. Librium and Librax together worked perfectly for over 35 years, but now the doctor will not prescribe the two together as they contain a small amount of Librium in the Librax. I can't figure out why they say 'do no harm' when this worked perfectly for a large portion of my life. I am now 72 and need to get back to what actually worked. Tried Hyoscamine. Not even similar to what works in my system. Why do the newer doctors not understand when this has been prescribed by other doctors and the results were just perfect?"
