"Diagnosed 1.5 years ago. Was on Mobic for a year until it became somewhat ineffective in my left hip to the point where I could barely walk. Switched to Celebrex, which is doing a lot better. Have been taking it for 6 months, but I know long-term effects of NSAIDs are damaging, so trying a no-starch diet to get off NSAIDs. So far, little success, but need to stick to it for much longer."

"Works well, been on it for years so may be becoming immune. Not all generic versions are as good as Pfizer. I nearly came to a total stop after taking a generic version for a few weeks, gone back to genuine ones and noticed a change within 24 hours. If you get a plain white capsule with Y 100 written on it, expect trouble. I am in the UK."

"It has been a godsend for me. I can't take regular NSAIDs because of gastritis, but Celebrex hasn't caused any problems for me. I take 400 mg a day with glucosamine, and not only does it take away the pain, it also serves as a DMARD. It's amazing!"

"Was taking naproxen and then got prescribed Celebrex and then ended up having a bad rash and stuff, so I do not recommend if you have a history of sensitive skin."

"Celebrex changed my life. I call it a miracle drug. I took it for more than four years without any side effects. My only concern is the potential side effects that may appear in the long term. Sometimes 200 mg is enough to manage the pain, but other times I need to increase the dose to 400 mg to maintain my posture straight."
