"Was prescribed this for a potential UTI. The first couple of days on it, I felt more energetic than I had previously, however, I found that I suddenly had insomnia and could not get to sleep. After Day 4 on it, I developed shaking hands, hyperactivity, was dizzy, and had massive brain fog. I had gut-wrenching abdominal cramps and diarrhea upwards of 8x/day. I generally felt awful and achy all over, and during the day could barely get out of bed, but then could not actually sleep either because of the persistent insomnia. I could not concentrate, was forgetting things, and generally was not myself at all. As well, the volume of blood and blood clots I was passing through my urinary tract increased considerably. I consulted my pharmacist, and they said to stop taking this immediately. It took 2 days to detox from it, but have now returned to normal…except I have now developed vertigo, which I suspect is a result of this medication. Weigh the risks before taking this!!!"
