For Anxiety "I’ve been taking this medication for two months, and I haven’t seen progress, it has worsened my symptoms. I feel dizzy, nauseated, twitching all the time. This medication is not for me. I don’t even feel like myself, I feel like a zombie. I thought this medication was going to help me, but it made me worse. My anxiety, I even lost my hair."

For Anxiety "I started off on 1/2 buspirone pill of 10 mg for the first 4 days and increased every 4 days until I was on a dose of 2 full pills per day. I was feeling good on 1/2 pill twice per day, but any more than that would give me severe nausea. I’d taken Dramamine, but it didn’t help most of the time. Sometimes this drug makes my anxiety worse. However, it did help decrease paranoia that I get when smoking marijuana. I’m currently on 1/2 pill every 6 hours, and I feel as though it’s still not enough, but more of it would make me nauseated. I think I just need something else for the social anxiety/general anxiety."

For Anxiety "Oh man, so a little bit about me. I am overly sensitive to every medication or anything such as caffeine. If there is a medication with side effects, I get it. Let’s talk about the weight gain in my arms and extended abdomen. It’s kind of rubbish because I’m so nauseous all the time and haven’t been eating, but still gaining weight. Headaches, yup. Sore throat, yup. This drug is messing with my hormones and is giving me cysts on my ovaries, and it burns to pee. I got a UTI test, STD test, and the gyno said everything is fine. This is not doing it for me. Terrible."

Buspirone for Anxiety "Terrible headache, nausea, sweats. I felt like this was bad for my body. Even though I only took it for a short time, I had terrible withdrawal symptoms. Please be very careful if you take this drug."

Buspirone "BuSpar is great in managing anxiety attacks, as well as some panic disorders, but I can't tolerate it because each time I experience dizziness and motion sickness afterward, so I will have to stop it."

For Anxiety "Been taking 10 mgs twice a day for 10 days. Noticeable improvement in lowering anxiety level. Mild headache and nausea for the first few days. My life perspective is much better. Very pleased so far."

For Anxiety "I've been on buspirone for many years. I also take lamotrigine (Lamictil). I have less anxiety but a lot of social anxiety still. What I didn't connect, until reading a lot of fellow buspirone takers here, is that the faintness I get (feeling like I'll pass out if I don't sit) and also about every 3 months I get the dizziness. Sometimes when I lay down in bed, the ceiling looks like it's spinning wildly. I always have to bring snacks with me everywhere for those times of faintness. I thought they were just how I am normally. I'll have to check with my doctor. I'd have thought she'd have brought that up before :( I don't remember if I had the other symptoms some here mentioned, with the headaches and nausea. Too long ago."
