"I was given Sublocade while I was in prison, and since I got out, I stopped, and I've been sick for 3 months now, constantly puking in the morning, shaking, and I heard it can last a year, and it's just awful..."

"I've been on Suboxone off and on for the past 6 or 7 years. My doctor talked me into trying Sublocade. I was so grateful and agreed. The first day was fine. Each day after has been horrible. Withdrawal symptoms... you never forget how it feels. So when the other doc called and said maybe it's a virus, that really annoyed me. Anyone have Sublocade not work out? I was so hopeful for this. Now what... when I did get the shot, they said it was oozing out. I specifically asked... what if I didn't get enough?! You did. You'll be fine, they said. I'm not fine. Luckily, I have Lucemyra to help."

"Got my first 300 injection today, about 5 hours ago, after only taking 8 mg today and taking 32 mg daily until today for over 20 years, and I feel normal. I got the lidocaine injection a few minutes before to numb it, and I felt nothing. I’m hoping to jump off after one or two, or maybe even after the 100 mg one, which is the third. Tired of being on subs and feeling depressed and numb and angry and gaining weight and constipated and losing teeth, this awful drug! Heard it’s easier to come off of than the sublingual buprenorphine, so fingers crossed."

"I have been on Suboxone for 17 years next month. I have changed to Sublocade, and it is my 11th day of getting the injection, and I don’t feel good. It started my third day with symptoms of withdrawal: irritated, chills, hot flashes, yawning, runny nose, and watery eyes. I feel tired a lot more than usual, and I definitely know when my body is withdrawing. I don’t know if I can do this every month."

"I decided to try Sublocade after being on Subutex for about 4 years. Dosage varied during those years but was usually around 16-24 mg/day. My decision to try Sublocade was only to get off the medicine. My doctor said people weren't feeling withdrawals coming off the medicine because it gradually tapers down over a few months. So, I got the first and last injection on July 2nd. 4 months later, I'm doing great, and I haven't felt bad really at all during those 4 months. Sublocade has been the greatest blessing for me after opiates ruined a decade of my life. I am finally off of all of it, and I feel 1000 times better."

"Sublocade worked great to get me off of drugs, no detoxing at all. But what they fail to tell you before they give it to you is that you will drop dirty for it for well over a year after your last dose. I have had trouble getting jobs and having to jump through hoops to get proof that it stays in your system for that long, so just be careful."

"Sublocade is worth it because you don't have to worry about craving. But my doctor was out of town, and my doctor's nurse aide said she knew what she was doing and took two tries to get it right, and it hurt so bad all down my legs, my back, abdomen, and ribs. Scary. Still hurts. Like she hit a muscle. I'm terrified she did something to my body. It was my 4th shot, and I know that she didn't do it right. So now she scared me into not wanting it anymore."

"Sublocade has been a lifesaver. I got highly addicted to Suboxone... I know it's crazy... you can't abuse Sublocade and you don't go through any withdrawal! I'm so grateful for this shot!!! I've had no side effects, especially after being on Suboxone for 13 years... hope this helps!!"

"I was an active heroin user for about 20 years. In and out of rehabs. Spent 11 years in state prison and a few years on the revolving door of the county jail. After serving 5 years in prison, I had all intentions of getting on Suboxone, and I went for my evaluation, and the counselor doing it mentioned Sublocade. I'd never heard of it, hence I was in prison for 5 years. So I decided to give it a try. 14 months later and no injection for the past 5 months, I'm still clean. Now I also went through the IOP and regular outpatient, which helped as well. And I also completely cut off everyone. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I've stayed busy working and just keeping myself busy. But without Sublocade, I wouldn't be where I'm at today. This is the longest I've ever remained clean, and I feel amazing. I had no withdrawal symptoms after not receiving any more injections. This is definitely a miracle drug if you are ready. It definitely takes some hard work and dedication to stay clean. Set boundaries and get the shot!!!"

"I transitioned exactly 2 weeks ago from Suboxone to Sublocade, and I honestly was disappointed that my previous providers either did not mention this medication or offer it as an option. When I discovered Sublocade upon my own research, tired of taking 16 mg daily, still feeling “off,” I was told that Sublocade was inferior to Suboxone. I went to the Sublocade website and found help locating a new doctor. I did lab work and had to take Suboxone for 1 week before they could prescribe me Sublocade. In all honesty, the injection did sting and burn, but the worst of it was over in 2-3 minutes. I was allowed to relax in the office after my injection and then drove myself home. Within hours, I began feeling better and normal, actual normalcy. I woke up the next morning and felt good, each day has been better than the one prior! I never felt this way on Suboxone, at any dose. I’ve had no adverse symptoms or withdrawal. This medication has been life-changing for me, and I’m only 2 weeks in."

"I've been struggling with addiction for well over 25 years. I think that methadone hurt me far worse than helped, then the Suboxone strips for 7 years worked fantastically until I'd stop them in order to use, and by then it wasn't heroin, it's fentanyl. I've overdosed four times for the first time in 25 years, so on to Sublocade I went. It's only helpful if you have the money to pay for what insurance doesn't. Your doctor has to order it for you, and it's a nightmare. However, it doesn't hurt, it's great not doing repetitive things. Unfortunately, I started craving heroin or fentanyl and started getting high again, but today I have been 3 days clean, and thanks to the strips, I'm just not strong enough, I suppose."

"So I am new to Sublocade. Took Suboxone for about 16 years now, and I just got the first shot of 300 mg on Thursday last week. It feels great. Weird when I go to take meds, but I definitely don't need them. I agree with everyone else. Minor sting at the injection site, and it works great. So excited to see if this shot gets me off bupes FINALLY! Give it a shot, y'all (pun intended)"

"I am on Sublocade, and it works amazing for me. The loading dose holds me the whole month with no cravings whatsoever. I also have no withdrawal symptoms when it's close to the end of the month. Sublocade saved my life. I highly recommend it."

"I got addicted to prescription opiates my senior year of high school. After my entire senior year taking pills every day, I was put on Suboxone. Long story short, I should’ve never been on it then because I wasn’t ready to be done using. I spent multiple years on it and had to taper off, and the withdrawal was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Fast forward multiple years, I had gone to five rehabs and couldn’t stay sober until I got on methadone. I stayed clean for two years and fell off during COVID and was using fentanyl. I got on Suboxone again and went through my last rehab, and that’s where I heard about Sublocade. I just have to say it has been a miracle drug for sure. I thought all the reviews I read couldn’t be possible, but it is. I’ve done the injection for twelve months and I just got my last shot. 10/10 recommend this if you can’t get off oral Suboxone."

"Got my 1st injection 24 hours ago, been on Suboxone for 7 years, hoping this will be less intrusive when planning travel, etc. Injection stings like a yellow jacket sting, severe for about 2-3 minutes, then starts to subside, stayed tender for 12 hours, today a hard bump, which is normal, it is a bit tender to pressure, movement, etc. Nothing worse than any other medical procedure, injection, etc. If it works as well as they say, a little sting once a month is a cheap price to pay for keeping off Rx opioids."

"I was on opiates since the late '90s, IV drug user. Never went to rehab, methadone clinic twice, and Suboxone three different times. For the last five years, I have been on one three-fourths Subutex and have stayed clean. November 20, I got the Sublocade injection. The transition was a lot easier than I expected. Didn't get sick at all. Went back in December to get my second injection, and the lady at the clinic was on vacation for two weeks and had taken the key to the safe with her. So I didn't get the prescribed pills for two weeks and I didn't go back. I feel better every day, I really didn't get dope sick like I thought I would. I will say I am very emotional. That has been the hardest thing. But anyway, I got the first injection in November and nothing since."

"I took 16 mg Suboxone and weaned myself down to 2 mg per day over a year's time. It was a nightmare, and I couldn't get off of it. I took Sublocade for 5 months, stopped July 2020, and have been free since! Minimal issues. I have anxiety, so my anxiety did heighten a bit, but compared to straight withdrawal, it was nothing! I've also had some stomach stuff, but again, nothing in comparison to what it could have been! Give it a try!"

"I did 2 years snorting H before I OD. I got on strips with no insurance and couldn't afford them. The strips turned me into more of an addict. When I weaned myself off, it wasn't long until another OD. 5 months of strips, then two 300 mg shots followed by three 100 mg shots of Sublocade, and I have my life back. Haven't had a shot in almost 2 months. No withdrawals, no cravings. Thank God for Sublocade! I'm just thankful I never had a serious addiction to heroin that I felt when I first went off the strips. I have my life back. I would urge anybody that is serious about getting off the merry-go-round to get on Sublocade, it was a smooth ride off. No rehab, no meetings, just done."

"I have been on pain meds half my life. Then I just got addicted and dependent, so I went to a Suboxone clinic. Was on Suboxone strips for about 2 years (3 strips) a day. I couldn't handle the taste of the strips or the pills, so I would spit it out early, never being able to ingest my full daily dose. The doctor told me there was an injection, so after battling with insurance companies, I finally got approved. I've been on the 300 mg dose every month. I'm now been on the Sublocade injection for a full year (12 injections), and I've never looked back. It also is good for pain management, even though they say it's not meant for that. I am so grateful I have insurance and that there is an injection medication like this that's fully covered. I'm blessed. Please don't take anything for granted, especially in today's world."

"I had my first injection yesterday, April 20, 2021. OMG, last night I was terrible. I woke up this morning feeling as though I am high. My movement is slow. I pray I start to feel better as time goes by, if not, I will not have the second. I will go back on Suboxone. I had 300 mg, maybe it was too much. She is to go down to 100 mg next month, but I don't know any help!?"

"Had a monster dope habit for over 10 years. In 2007, I tried methadone maintenance, and it worked, but because of the stigma, I never really felt sober. In 2011, my doctor suggested switching to Suboxone. The switch was tough and led to a relapse. Fortunately, I was able to become stable on Suboxone within a couple of months. I stayed on Suboxone from 2011 to 2023. I never thought I'd get off. I tried a few times, but the mental mind F was too much to handle. It was the worst withdrawal I'd ever experienced. When the doctor brought up Sublocade, I was a little skeptical. I read tons of reviews and decided I'd give it a shot, but would switch right back to strips if I felt any withdrawal at all. I must say, it was the best decision I've made in years. About 3 weeks into the first shot, I did experience some yawns, tearing eyes, and one night of very minimal cold sweats. I convinced myself it was my mind messing with me and pushed on. I'm going for my 6th shot in a week, and I can see a light I never thought I'd see."

"I have to say this is the ONLY medication that has completely helped to change my life! I have been getting the Sublocade injection for 3 years now, and I never had any symptoms of withdrawal, nor do I ever have any cravings to use. I don’t know yet if there are any symptoms that a person may experience getting off of Sublocade yet, seeing how I myself am still currently receiving my injections every month."

"So my journey to the Sublocade injection was a little different from most as I was coming off 100+ mills of methadone. It took me about 2 weeks of dropping 10 mills a day, but taking Suboxone patches and Suboxone films. It wasn't an easy journey, and I felt uneasy and a little depressed during the process. But I've had my first Sublocade injection of 300 mg, and I'm starting to feel really good again and am able to work more hours now. Definitely worth starting your transition to the monthly Sublocade injections. Just a pity it's not free for some countries like it is here in Australia."

"I was on fentanyl for about 2 years, got on methadone, went to treatment, stayed clean for a year. Even though I was clean, I still felt like a prisoner to pharmacies and doctors. I relapsed for a month, hot on Suboxone for 2 weeks, then the smartest move I could ever make was Sublocade. I did 3 months of 300 mg, then 1 month of 100 mg Sublocade, then I stopped going in. It’s been over 60 days since my last shot, and I feel amazing. I have gotten my sex drive back, my sleep schedule is normal, and the minor withdrawal symptoms I have last for 40 seconds. I get real warm, a sweat comes, then it goes away. It’s happened almost every second day, but it’s been 60 days. I’ll update in another 60 days. The way things are going, it’s only getting better. If you're 100 percent serious about cleaning up and getting your life back, Sublocade is the answer. My only regret was I should have done fewer Sublocade injections."

"I went to a meeting a month ago, and someone told me about Sublocade. I didn’t think much of it. So, here I was taking 2-3 strips a day, and I just began to get fed up with taking this medication again and again. I finally reached out to a doctor a few miles away, and I went and got it ordered. It took 2 weeks to arrive. Getting the injection, I was told to be prepared, it does sting. I’m laying on my back, and he counts 3...2...1, and the medicine starts going. For 4 seconds, I said, wow, this is not bad, when I hit 5 seconds, I felt it. It burned nicely. Like a good sting for a good amount of time. I just received it Tuesday, and wow. I feel incredible. Never am I coming down or feeling as up as I was. I’m just at a steady dose of 10 mg. Absolutely no withdrawal effects. I sleep great at night, and I wake up feeling fantastic. It still does sting at times, and I have a bump where the injection took place. Positive reviews on this. If you're thinking about it, GET IT!"
