For Pain "I'm a hemophiliac with severe arthritis and due for a right hip and left knee replacement. My entire life, I've lived with chronic pain from bleeding episodes to my degenerative joint disease. I've been prescribed liquid morphine, Dilaudid, Vicodin, morphine sulfate, Tylenol 3s, OxyContin, pretty much everything they've got. But the only thing that truly does help me function in my everyday life without getting too loopy is Percocet. I give it a 10."

For Pain "I am currently being treated for lower back pain. I am prescribed up to 4, 5 mg a day of this medicine but only need to take 2 of them a day. Until my doctor put me on this, I could not get off the couch or do much around my house. Now, I can move, and with physical therapy, I hope to zap this pain. It works great but does cause me to itch, so I take a Benadryl with it, and it does make me a little foggy. If I don't eat, I do get somewhat nauseated too."

For Pain "I do not like this medication at all. I was prescribed 10/325 after I had endometriosis excision surgery last year. I had never taken oxycodone before, and I don't want to take it again if I have another choice. It made me feel incredibly loopy and brain foggy. It took away the pain, but the side effects were awful. I had some pills leftover because I wanted to stop taking them, but I kept them in case I needed them later. I had ankle surgery late last year and ran out of my week's worth of meds (I took them in a week but still had a lot of pain due to tendon repair and bone shaving). I had the Percocet in my med cabinet and took half, and it was horrible. I relived the experience all over again. I don't want this medication."

For Pain "I was prescribed this after gallbladder surgery. It works really well, although I feel kind of loopy on it."

For Pain "I experience dizziness and a decreased sensitivity to my pain. The loopy, light-headed feeling makes me lie down for an hour, and after, I start to feel the medicine kick in."

For Pain "I was prescribed this for pain following brain surgery. Take with food to prevent nausea. To avoid constipation, I took each dose with a stool softener and drank apple juice. Works good on the pain. But you do feel a little loopy on it."
