For Pain "Norco is extremely effective - I have used it over the years after having 3 back surgeries. I have never experienced any negative side effects or withdrawal symptoms. Norco has been in use for over 60 years and has not caused a public health crisis. We have OxyContin to thank for that - a drug that should never have been approved. OxyContin is no more effective than Norco but is five times more addictive by design. The FDA should be ashamed of itself, and generic manufacturer Mallinckrodt should do us all a favor and go out of business. It is simply a waste unless you're looking for a medication that causes you to throw up. I would rate Norco a 10 and Mallinckrodt a 1. OxyContin is an abomination. Meanwhile, millions of us with moderate to severe pain every day have nowhere to turn."

For Pain "This combination of Hydrocodone/acetaminophen is the best at relieving pain. I have tried Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, Vocoprofen, Vicodin HP, and just about every different combination, and Norco works the best by far. It relieves my pain in all parts of my body, and is also great for headaches, terrible back pain, and abdominal cramping. This drug is much less addicting and has fewer episodes of nausea/vomiting."

For Back Pain "For those saying Watson no longer makes their generic Norco, you're wrong. Just picked it up for a disabled friend yesterday, and it's Watson. Don't know why you'd want it, though. Every time I've ever taken Watson Norco, within twenty minutes, I'm vomiting."

For Pain "I was taking Percocet for some 6 years, and I felt it was time for a change. I was put on Norco 10-325, the same level as the Percocet I was taking. The first dose gave me a pleasant high and seemed to be effective on the pain, but about one hour later, I became horribly nauseated and vomited up the medication! Future doses proved the same results. This went on for about 10 days, even with an empty stomach. I tried Dramamine, water pills, Bonine, Metoclopramide, but no matter what, it made me horribly nauseated! In addition to that, I felt very lethargic, brain dead, and my sense of taste and smell seemed to elude me. Although it did relieve the pain, the side effects superseded the benefits. I am now back on my Percocet 10-325."

For Pain "Took this medicine to treat pain from surgery. Stopped taking after two days. Nausea, vomiting, lightheaded, dizzy, and headache. Glad I was able to pinpoint the association with my misery and Norco."

For Back Pain "I used to get name brand things, they were fine. My back pain started getting worse, then I got the generics. At first, it was good, some were helpful, some not. With the Aurobindo brand of acetaminophen/hydrocodone, after about 2 weeks, I started to vomit and was sick for a week. Of course, the pharmacy didn't listen. Then, one more time and the same thing happened. No more of that. Then Mallinckrodt, it's just rubbish. Now, I'm having spasms in buttocks. I don't think there are any opiates in them, and I am withdrawing. You can't trust big pharma. That's the way they do things. I am angry because they are stealing from us. How dare they decide for us that we should not have opiates."
