Usual Adult Dose for Dyspepsia
Calcium carbonate 800 mg-famotidine 10 mg-magnesium hydroxide 165 mg orally once a day as needed for symptom relief
- Maximum dose: Calcium carbonate 1600 mg-famotidine 20 mg-magnesium hydroxide 330 mg/day
- Duration of therapy: Up to 14 days
Comment: Tablets should be completely chewed prior to swallowing.
Use: Relief of heartburn associated with acid indigestion and sour stomach

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the active components, other acid reducers, or to any of the ingredients
- Patients that have trouble/pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody/black stools
- Use with other acid reducers
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Patient advice:
- Patients should be instructed to avoid swallowing chewable tablet formulations as whole tablets.
- Patients should be told to contact their healthcare provider if their heartburn continues after 14 days or worsens despite treatment.
- Advise patients to speak to their healthcare provider if they become pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
- Patients should be instructed to avoid using products if the tamper evident feature(s) are torn, broken, and/or missing.
