Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "Since getting an injection of Zilretta after years of cortisone injections for bone on bone in my knees, my worse knee has gotten unbearable. I now not only have knee pain, but it feels like a rubber band breaking behind my kneecap and excruciating nerve pain down my whole left leg, even while sleeping. I don't recommend getting this shot. Because of it, I now will have to have my knee replaced sooner rather than later."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I also have bone-on-bone in my knee. I was using cortisone injections, and then the doctor told me about Zilretta. I got the injection in May, and by August, it was wearing off. I am in more pain now than ever before. It felt great at first, but WOW. I do not recommend this."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "The first set of injections kept me in pain and off of my feet for over a week. I've had to get the injections every 3 months instead of every 6 like my last medication. Every time it is the same thing, both knees end up swollen and painful for a week or longer. The effects of Zilretta are semi-beneficial for about 8 weeks. I've had a lot more pain, stiffness, and swelling in my knees since taking Zilretta. There are days that I can't fully straighten or bend my legs. The inflammation is bad, and my symptoms are becoming worse than they were before I started Zilretta. This is a serious concern. I'm glad that it is helping some people, but for me, the short 8 weeks of slight relief is not worth the pain and worsening of symptoms that I have for the rest of the time between injections."

Triamcinolone for Inflammatory Conditions "To all the people who have had one injection and love being pain-free, BEWARE. I have permanent damage from the injections and will take the pain over the awful side effects. It’s a roller coaster. The more injections, the more permanent damage. I have permanent indentations in both buttocks that affect my sitting, injection site burns, itches, hurts, and it’s been six months since the last one, sweat constantly, sleep is rare, NEVER AGAIN. They hook you on the feel-good for a while and damage you more over time."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I had an injection of Kenalog 3 days ago in my left thumb joint at the base of my thumb. I am miserable, pain, swelling, redness up my arm, and burning itch and blisters. Some type of allergic reaction, which apparently is not common, however, I got this reaction. I’m scared since my symptoms are similar to a skin infection (cellulitis), so I just started antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory. Terrible drug. I was so happy to relieve my arthritis pain, and this has happened. How long until this drug is out of my system?"

Triamcinolone "Absolutely worthless and borderline dangerous. It’s been 3 weeks, still have ringing in my ears, my vision is blurry, and can’t seem to get through anything without being nauseous now and in constant pain. I spent almost 16 hours throwing up nothing with broken ribs, now I'm worse than before. The doctor told me that it only lasts 3-4 days after I got sick from it. But when they gave it to me, they said 3 weeks, and take with 800 mg ibuprofen. Constant burning in my stomach, ears ringing, headaches so bad I can’t seem to completely get rid of them, can’t get a deep breath and now coughing. I guess the doctors pat themselves on the back for not prescribing pain medication, even when it’s needed. I should have known when he just sort of guessed at my X-rays that I shouldn’t expect any help or relief. I wouldn't give this poison to anyone, and anyone who would doesn't care."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "Works great for my arthritis pain, but the side effects are not worth it. I've been getting injections for years for arthritis in various body parts. Every time I get the injection, I don't have a period for 3 months, and then BAM, I get hit with a period that is extremely heavy and lasts for 3 weeks. Also, I was not informed that this injection could make the skin at the injection site very thin after getting multiple shots. I covered a scratch in one such spot with a bandaid, when I removed it, all of the skin under the bandaid came off with it. Huge scar, very painful, skin is still somewhat thin in that spot even years after stopping the injection."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I fell at work more than 2 years ago, broke my patella. After 3 surgeries, the last one seemed to have worked well, my pain level was down to a 2-3. My doctor suggested getting this injection to get me lasting pain relief going forward. I wish now I hadn't. My pain level increased to at least a 5 within a week, sometimes it hurts as much as a 6-7. I have pain where I didn't have pain before. Calling my doctor this week. My surgery was at the end of April, the injection was done at 4 weeks. I am now 3 weeks past the injection date, and it has only worsened my knee pain. I am so over this knee pain."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "Issue is osteoarthritis of the knee and a partially torn meniscus. Had GenVisc850 injections (5 over 5 weeks as required), but still had knee pain, so doctor prescribed a Zilretta injection. Within 1 day, my knee pain became a lot worse, then for about 2 weeks the pain subsided some, so I thought the Zilretta was finally working. The relief was short-term and the pain increased to the point where it was difficult to put any weight on my leg. Now, 6 weeks after the Zilretta injection, I am scheduled for surgery."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I have bone-on-bone and bone spurs, and it did not work for me. Yet it’s been 10 days, and it’s really swollen, and now there’s crunching. It was very painful afterwards, and it didn’t hurt at all getting it, but now awful pain and a horrendous runny nose. I am definitely regretting getting it."

For Lichen Sclerosus "I have been using this for a few years now, with good luck. It's not a miracle, however, when I start to hurt, burn, or itch, I can apply this for a night or two depending on how bad it is, and it relieves my symptoms, which is a huge relief! It doesn't seem to do anything to stop the deterioration, however, I guess I am not sure if anything will actually help with that. That being said, I would highly recommend this product. I have had very good results, and it seems to work very quickly for me."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "My knee doctor recommended Zilretta, so I had it injected in my right knee. It felt great at first, but then 4 weeks to the day, the pain came back. Making another appointment on Monday to see what's next. I guess each person has a different effect. Worked great while it lasted."

Triamcinolone for Alopecia "Hair grew back almost instantly. I got Kenalog-10 injections from my doctor in late September. I started noticing hair growth after only a few days. Almost two months later now and my hair is almost completely grown. No more bald spots. It's not perfect, but it's getting there really quick. It was somewhat painful but totally worth it."
