Triamcinolone for Inflammatory Conditions "To all the people who have had one injection and love being pain-free, BEWARE. I have permanent damage from the injections and will take the pain over the awful side effects. It’s a roller coaster. The more injections, the more permanent damage. I have permanent indentations in both buttocks that affect my sitting, injection site burns, itches, hurts, and it’s been six months since the last one, sweat constantly, sleep is rare, NEVER AGAIN. They hook you on the feel-good for a while and damage you more over time."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I had an injection of Kenalog 3 days ago in my left thumb joint at the base of my thumb. I am miserable, pain, swelling, redness up my arm, and burning itch and blisters. Some type of allergic reaction, which apparently is not common, however, I got this reaction. I’m scared since my symptoms are similar to a skin infection (cellulitis), so I just started antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory. Terrible drug. I was so happy to relieve my arthritis pain, and this has happened. How long until this drug is out of my system?"

Triamcinolone for Rheumatoid Arthritis "Definitely would not recommend. I thought it was just me who believed that Kenalog made me worse. Anxiety increased and face burning. I agree that doctors are oblivious to the fact that this medicine can give patients a very serious side effect."

Triamcinolone for Rheumatoid Arthritis "I'm a 24-year-old female and have had RA since I was 8 years old. I had an 80 mg IM injection in December, and within 24 hours, my face was red and burning. 5 months later, I am still suffering the horrible side effects of this. I constantly have hot flushes, nausea, irregular menstrual cycles, and unwanted hair growth. I have no idea if and when these symptoms will subside and completely regret taking it. With regard to my joint inflammation, it has eased the pain, but I still have residual swelling. My fatigue has also worsened since the injection."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "First shot worked great. Second shot, I had severe pain and a burning sensation on the side of my knee that faces the other knee. This pain lasted 4 days and about drove me out of my mind. I kept thinking he injected into a nerve or something that shouldn't have been stabbed. It was horribly painful, and I'm really good at handling pain, but I was ready to have this leg amputated on day 3. Finally, on day 5, it let up. The injection spot stayed red and swollen for two weeks. Now the shot is helping. I'm scheduled to get a third injection in December. If it reacts like the second one, I'll know I'm allergic. However, it seems weird I had no reaction to the first shot, then 7 months later, the second shot nearly drove me insane. Made my whole body hurt, especially my back. Never could get my doctor's office back on the phone. Now 3 weeks later, and calling twice a week and leaving messages, they don't return phone calls."

Triamcinolone for Osteoarthritis "I got the injection into my knee 10 days ago. Initially, I had significant burning pain and pressure in my knee for 3 days. This has resolved, and now I have severe hamstring tendinitis with difficulty doing stairs and walking up hills. I’m sorry I even got this injection, my discomfort is so much worse than I was at baseline."

For Lichen Sclerosus "I have been using this for a few years now, with good luck. It's not a miracle, however, when I start to hurt, burn, or itch, I can apply this for a night or two depending on how bad it is, and it relieves my symptoms, which is a huge relief! It doesn't seem to do anything to stop the deterioration, however, I guess I am not sure if anything will actually help with that. That being said, I would highly recommend this product. I have had very good results, and it seems to work very quickly for me."
