For Allergic Rhinitis "I am a young woman and have been taking this at night to clear my allergies because Zyrtec just won't cut it anymore, and this has been working. I haven't had any bad allergy symptoms and can breathe freely. But since taking this medicine, I have had some adverse side effects. I have been woken up in the middle of the night from my heart racing and what feels like a panic attack. It is so bad I have to get up and turn on a light and go do something just so I can calm myself down, let alone get myself to sleep. I have decided that this is just too much to go through for clear sinuses, so I am no longer going to take this medicine and try something else."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Nasacort does not always work right away and often needs time to build up in your system. I didn't think it worked at first, but I eventually realized it did. It does a pretty good job of opening up my nasal passages that often have severe congestion. It is a lifesaver when I'm sleeping and wake up with horrendous sinus pressure. It works instantaneously. I have had zero side effects. I am prone to anxiety like I'm assuming a lot of other people here. The first day or two I took it, I attributed a faster heartbeat and feeling blue to the Nasacort. It's false correlation due to panic. Please don't be afraid to take this because of side effects read about by other panickers."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I think probably for those that have a history of anxiety or heart palpitations, this product should not be taken. I read the side effects and thought it would be no different than the Flonase I had been taking. I have a history of anxiety and take medication for it, so I always check. I failed to check these sites to read reviews before I began taking it. I started taking it last Wednesday. By Saturday night, I couldn't sleep because my heart rate was elevated to 102-108 BPM. It took about 6 hours for my heart to regulate, and I had taken it in the morning, not at night. I didn't realize it was the Nasacort, so I took it again in the morning. I had the same experience with sleeping and heart rate. Monday, I decided to take none of my medicines except my anxiety and GERD meds and slept like a baby. Silly me, still doesn't put two and two together, so I took it again this morning and then began to work and felt my heart rate speed up, so I came to this site... BINGO! Never again!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "This stuff clears up my allergies, but I noticed it makes my heart race also. I also experienced nosebleeds and one of the worst headaches of my life. Throbbing headache and nausea, my taste is off too. Sometimes when spraying this stuff, it makes my sinuses burn. I try to only take this medication when I’m in absolute need, the side effects are a bit much for me to handle. I just want an allergy medication that doesn’t give me a bunch of bizarre and painful side effects."
